Wow. What an incredible find. Unassuming but so authentic, this is a gem. Just wish more Chinese restaurants served food like this.
The waiter is really helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Only to happy to explain and help. If you’re looking for Anglicised Chinese food then this isn’t the place for you. If you want proper authentic Northern Chinese food then this IS for you. Beautiful food.
We tried the Gungbao chicken, sirloin beef in soy, green beans with pork, and their homemade noodles (simply Devine).
Every time I come to Brighton now I will be coming here. And so should you!

Hidden gem. The best noodle soup in town for me, noodles are hand made, and the broth is 10/10. Menu might be a bit daunting if you aren't familiar with authentic chinese cuisine, but I highly recommend trying.

Went in with friends while visiting Brighton.
It was very busy at dinner time. We waited a while for our table.
Dishes came rather quickly and wow this is a very authentic Chinese restaurant run by a lovely family.
The big plate chicken is better than the ones I tried in London. And other dish give me the Feeling that I’m in Beijing!
My son loved their home made noodle and dumplings.
Definitely will come back every time I come to Brighton.

Went here on New Years Day, this place does exceptional cheap Chinese home style comfort food. The decor is a little questionable as are the power boards under all the tables along with the stores drink stock. Other than that I really enjoyed low-fi food!

Cash only, but the best noodles in all of Brighton. Ask for the handmade stuff!

This is a small family run restaurant which offers tasty Chinese cuisine. Very friendly staff. Good selection of items in the menu. Particularly favoured by Chinese students studying in Brighton. Not posh by any stretch of imagination!

I ordered for takeaway so can't talk about the ambiance of the place or anything but the food was alright, I grew up in China so I know a bit about chinese cuisine and the dishes are done properly (unlike most 'chinese' places in Brighton) so it is authentic, but it's a long shot from the best chinese food I've had outside China.

They have very delicious food and the waitress is very nice and friendly.

Amazing authentic chinese food - the big plate chicken with noodles is excellent, as was the sweet and spicy aubergine.
Staff were friendly, don’t be afraid to ask for guidance.
Hope to go back soon.

A stone's throw away from Brighton station, this tiny gem of a restaurant serves authentic Beijing cuisine. Everybody should know about this eating house.

I was there whilst visiting Brighton with a few friends and happened to pass by this place and we thought we would give it a try. We were not disappointed at all, although there was a slight mishap with our food order at the start, the food we had was delicious, vibrant, and fresh. The staff were delightful and attentive and I will certainly be going there again and recommending friends to it.
Keep up the good work!

I've written a full review on Yelp, but the long and short of it is that everything was so unbelievably good -- literally, difficult to believe it was this good compared to all the other Chinese restaurants in town, satisfying exacting standards forged by growing up in Hong Kong -- that I'm beginning to think I've lost my mind. I have no idea what a restaurant this good is doing on Queens Road in Brighton, but take it from a foodie, this place is delicious. Please please translate the Chinese menu, I'm begging you :D The English one doesn't have all the interesting dishes. Or you could just take photos of everything -- they looked so good that I was willing to try the restaurant on a whim, something I haven't done without careful research in years!
