Called in last Saturday evening. The best Cod and Chips I've had for a very long time.

First class service from Chris and Sharon. Fish was fresh and chips were plenty and hot.
I'm only down for one night to see Gary Numan rehearsing and this dinner was the icing on the cake. Thank you guys. I will add that when I went it was cash only but that wasn't an issue.

My friend and I travelled up to Brighton for the day and before we left we googled best fish and chips near me and hot Jenny’s as our first result. So we went to Jenny’s and they were just about to shut, we ordered their last cod and chips and they even threw in a pie for free! It was sooo nice! Next time we’re in Brighton we will definitely come back here. The 2 guys were really nice and friendly also.

Have been a regular here for many years. Everything is cooked to order, portions are huge, fish is fresh as can be. The owner is friendly and generous. One word of warning: go early - they sometimes close early when they run out of fish

We ate here on the recommendation of our Airbnb host and wasn't disappointed. Nice cooked to order Cod and plenty of chips. The mushy peas were just ok, very watery and overly sweet?? Staff are really friendly and chatty. Definitely eat here again when in Brighton

My favourite chippy, and the very best one, too! Quality is consistently excellent, plus the prices are very competitive. Keep up the great work, Chris! I'll be by again next week, for my weekly dose of your great fish and chips!

The fish was lovely, the chips were a bit greasy, not crisp. A bit more expensive than I would like, but probably down to stock prices. They may do well to have a veggie option. N.B. cash only.

Friendly, tasty, speedy, great value fish and chips. They've sorted us out with many delicious suppers over the years, highly recommended!

Have been going to this shop for many years. Very friendly staff, and Chris even knows what I like to order! I drive past other Fish and Chip shops, to come to this one, because this one is so much better! Excellent quality food and at a great price! Why go anywhere else!!

What great fish and chips, generous portions and a great half of free range chicken portion so tasty. I definitely recommend this chippy. PS the proprietor makes his own curry sauce awesome!

Fish and Chips have kind of disappeared as more continental take away's have emerged in recent years. I came here to to test out whether the English classic had been unfairly forgotten.
I got the classic dish of cod and chips, both of which were filling and satisfying, just not much more. Both the fish and chips were a bit soggy and just not that heavy in taste.
The one advantage of fish and chips however, is that it costs far less then most other takeaways; my dish cost me £4.50, and in truth, it could have fed two people.

Popped in here Saturday evening.and was pleasantly surprised. Not your upmarketpreened up chipper..but brilliant chips. Wrapped basically but hygienically. Cooked to perfection as was the fish. Big plus..you cannot complain of small portions and food being cold!!!!! Well recommended.

You might drive past this chippy and carry on as it could do with a touch of paint on the exterior but rest assured, its a really clean and friendly place to buy your weekly fish and chips fix.
It can get a little busy around 7 or 8pm towards the end of the week but they can take your order and keep it warm while you pop over the road for a cheeky half in the Park View until its ready.
The portions are enormous and not in any way greasy. We always get two small cod and share a small chips and it fills us up fine. The huss is lovely here too when he has it in and its well worth going for the curry sauce to pour over the chips!

I was really looking forward to my fish and chips here in Brighton as they are not available widely in France. The F & C shop was like many fast food outlets today in the UK (sadly) rather unimpressive and the staff fairly humourless! I ordered my haddock and chips and my wife's scampi and chips and had just an 8 minute wait before they were served up piping hot and wrapped ready for my 7 minute walk home. On arrival home (my wife had prepared heated plates - how posh) we transferred the food to the plates. The portions were so large the plates were not big enough! Unfortunately this is where the good news ended.......both the fish and scampi were undercooked with fairly soggy batter. The chips, although a big portion, were also lacking in the taste department! I suspect that both the scampi and fish were previously frozen and fried from frozen killing the taste. Both my wife and I could only struggle through half of our meals before giving up - we were quite hungry!
This fish and chip shop should really concentrate on quality rather than quantity! However top marks to the staff for knowing what a wally is (no not that, but a pickled gherkin!)

This is the closest fish&chip shop to where I live so there is an element of convenience here...however, Jenny's is not just near-by, it's also a good all-round place for that staple of British living- shish and fips. They serve the classics- battered haddock, cod, pollock, sausage and a small selection of pies. There are the fascinating jars of pickled eggs and posters of battered mushy pea fritters...I'm always tempted to try these things but have never had the guts. The same three people work here in cycles and they are all really friendly. I always order chips and mushy peas- the chips are fat, real potato and nicely crispy on the edges but still soft. The peas are that nuclear green and very yummy. My boyfriend has haddock and eats it with his fingers with a happy look on his face...so all good I think. The prices are super reasonable- a lazy unhealthy but satisfying dinner for a fiver.
