We stumbled across Cafe Werks our first morning in Brighton. We almost walked past but decided to enter. The decor is mostly gray, but the manager/barista was very warm and helpful. A christmas party was happening and even though she was quite busy, she took the time to sit and chat while we drank our tea. A lovely place, thank you.

If you are looking to have a meeting or catch up on some work whilst in Brighton this place is great. It has a great interior and serves great locally blended coffees and single estate teas. When popped in they had just opened and were not serving food but had a good selection of snacks and crisps.
The interior is very London with grey walls, wooden tables and Mies Van de Rohe chairs. It also has an amazing mural on one of the walls. I really does exude Urban cool. And the coffee 'and teas' are really good too!

Great place when you need a place to work. Central, very reasonable and very friendly service. I'll come again for sure!

Love coming here to the Cafe to work. Great value at £10 a day, and you get £10 of credit for the cafe too. If you only want to use the co-working for half a day (3.5 hours) you can come back and use the space again for another half day, and carry the cafe credit over. Really friendly staff, and a great VO service too.

The Brighton Media Centre is a fantastic resource in the heart of Brighton, that is very much under utilised - it's a little gem. The staff are accommodating, the space is large and there is plenty on offer; an exhibition gallery, a photography studio, a recording room and even office space!
It is well worth dropping in and seeing it for yourself, you wont regret it :)

The Brighton Media Centre is a brilliant concept and perfectly matched to the needs of the city’s vibrant and diverse business community. The flexibility of space options and short term contracts allow a young business to grow (and shrink) with the marketplace. We have done both many times since we joined in 2007. The BMC management team clearly understand the importance of flexibility for businesses in today’s harsh financial climate and always rise to our challenges with a smile.
The fringe benefits of being part of this this agglomeration of small businesses, of which there are many, can be best portrayed by our unexpected need one day for a Portuguese translator. One call to reception and we had seven offers within an hour. It even turned out that most of our new-found Portuguese friends were actually in our building.. That’s impressive.
