We felt so welcome and had excellent service here on the opening night. The menu has a great choice of delicious food.
I went with my 2 children and dog on one of the rehearsal nights before the grand reopening and had a really lovely evening. The food was AMAZING and came in good time. Great food choices for the children, staff very friendly, great with the kids and helpful with any requests. Cute blankets for the dog and biscuits and water a plenty!

We had a lovely meal for my daughter’s birthday.
Katie was our waitress for the evening and she was very attentive, polite and helpful.
The food was delicious with good size portions and was lovely and hot.
The pub has very recently been refurbished and the decor has been very tastefully done with a good atmosphere.
I would recommend a visit.
My husband and I went for one of the trial evenings and had an amazing night. Warmly welcomed by the manager (Tom I think?), lovely cocktails at the bar before being seated at our table. The food was delicious and the service was spot on. Thank you for a fabulous evening. Can highly recommend and we will be back soon!
Food was good once we got it. But try ordering a few things but was sold out .
Food hot and tasty 😋 But service was shocking. Diane our server was untrained as she walked off 2 time as taking our order she didn't know how to use the portal
Ask her to scan my loyalty card but said I don't think work 🤔.it took forever try to get a drink and dessert .normally it would take 2 hours to have a 3 course meal .But last night it was over 3 hours 😪.Also she didn't know how to use card machine I had help her Also I ask scan my loyalty card and it worked. So got £20 off don't normally don't
do review but in this case I did .we was not the only that was unhappy with her service.
Look forward to other meals in vintage inns else were .
We had six adults and three children come in for the night and we had such a lovely night. Katie done so well sorting out our orders and was very pleasant. Great staff, great service, great night. I’m glad this place has come back with a bang

Very confident in her role and knowledgeable of her menu. Pub looks fantastic, lovely food all cooked exactly as ordered.

26.10. One of the rehearsal nights before opening. We were shown to our table by the manager, I believe, who had the table plan. He told us who would be waiting on us and that our drinks order would be taken. Not long after Lily out waitress took our drinks order. Lily was exceptional and sweet throughout the evening, tended to our every need without being too intrusive. One if the drinks we ordered were wrong but she changed it straight away and apologised. Food was excellent, we had the ribeye steak for main cooked medium and it was served medium, we couldn't believe it as everywhere overcooks this so compliments to the chef!!! It took me ages to finish as I was savouring the meal, it was so tasty. We didn't order desserts as it would have been too much for us but what we saw being served looked lovely. Personally would have liked to have seen cheesecake on the menu but there were other choices that looked good. Being rehearsal night we had a score card given to us which we gladly filled out quite honestly I felt. If the same quality, service and food continues we will be visiting again soon. Please keep up.the good work. It was our pleasure to keep your company tonight.
