The Stables Cafe

Situated in the heart of hylands Park is this little cafe. Great for a light bite to eat in-between walking round the park, or just relaxing. Great service and atmosphere is welcoming also. Staff were polite and friendly. In my opinion the food was nice but can't be justified for the prices they are charging, spending the best part of a tenner on a panini and a drink is just bonkers to me, considering its just a sandwich after all but hey ho, overall its an OK cafe just bring your wallet.

Stables is the perfect combination of excellent food, made by their in-house pastry chef, or else procured from the finest suppliers, superb service, kind courteous staff who are always happy to see you, excellent coffee, a location to be adored, and to top it off, it's dog friendly. I can have a beautiful lunch, an iced coffee, handmade bakes, and my pug, Frenchie, and rottweiler are fussed over and genuinely loved by the staff. Stables has every ingredient for enduring success. If you're out with your dog(s), you are in for a treat at stables cafe. Love the place!

Great experience here even with so little staff they made sure to cater to everyone's personal needs, making sure orders were all on time. The atmosphere is lovely and friendly like a slice of home in a lovely park. Food was excellent. Especially their soup, would definitely recommend. Cakes are beautifully presented as well as tasty! I would recommend to anyone looking for a lovely homey feel cafe to come here again and again!!

A nice choice of areas inside or outside the cafe or in the courtyard there's even a place that is dog friendly. Not a vast choice but the more than adequate to go with a cup of tea, the pasties in the sausage rolls or very hot and freshly out , the cakes looked very nice. Would have given it 5 stars but due to staff shortages had to have a cup and that's not quite right for a nice cup of tea
