I really enjoyed the journey from London to Chelmsford. The train service here is amazing, the staff are wholehearted. As an avid traveller, I expect this kind of service in London Zone.
Cute little town, with a lovely high street, nice restaurants.
It's the county seat and has a lot of history I enjoyed the church there from architectural point of view and hope to visit more often in the future... Essex rocks!
This station is top-notch. No missed trains, quick coffee with no queues, ample staff at the ticket office provided you don't turn up a few minutes prior to your train, and taxis galore during rush hour. Plus, there are fast food, restaurants and drinking options just steps away from the station including a small M&S Food. A hassle-free station for delays and cravings.
We went there today, found out cheaper at weekends by train!!! 🙄
However as we all know Wilko is closing so not much left. The Range store about to happen there. There was a street singer singing sad down beat songs, really up lifting stuff mate.
Your usual beggers coming the public out of money and fags, especially old and vulnerable. Where's the police to move them on.
Other than that usually a pleasent area to visit nice parks with kids spaces etc.
Nice eateries, shops, and locals are usually friendly bunch too. 🤓👍
Super city in South-East Essex. Plenty to see and do, places to eat and shop, mainline train and bus services and excellent road links.
Calm and silent place in the outskirts of london. Everything from food places, good pubs, shopping centres, cinemas and parks are within walking distance. Almost all places are connected via bus but highly unreliable about timing and cancellation. Great parks and rivers with gardens around the city. Visit to spend some relaxing time.
Chelmsford was nice today apart from the place called bills where me and my auntie went for some lunch today they made me feel quite uncomfortable and I would definitely not go there again
Chelmsford is a lovely city to visit with so many shops to choose from, a huge variety of places to eat and drink, it has a lovely big park, river Chelmer you can sit have a Coffee with some iconic views, I travel to Chelmsford to get a train to Clacton on Sea 😊
Good county town (city) - liked watching the cricket. Good access to station and town
