Holly Blue

Visited again yesterday at around 4pm for the third time. The staff were attentive to everything I could have possibly needed- sauces were offered when food was brought over, drinks were refilled and dessert was offered when my plates were cleared. My children were shown a climbing frame in a secure outside space which me and my husband enjoyed. Every time I have been it has been great. The food is good quality and the prices are so reasonable especially during the current times. I highly recommend The Holly Blue to everyone.

Newish to this area and driven by your venue many times and chose to celebrate my 65th birthday with my family. 14 of us, the food was lovely and reasonably priced, drinks were really good too. Pleasant venue and beautiful grounds according to my brother who is a landscape gardener. An enjoyable experience and thank you

We are in holiday in the local area so needed to find somehere to eat. As this was down the road from where we staying it was perfect. The outside of the building as you arrive looks inviting. Once inside the decore is a bit mismached and tired looking but clean. The staff were very polite and friendly, looked happy to be there . The outside small play area was a bonus for oir children to keep them entertained whilst waiting for food. The food was good. Hot, food size portions, even the kids meal. One of my children had the carvery and i must say the beef looked lovely, not fatty like other named carverys we have been to before. The actually cost of the meal was good value also. We would possibly return whilst here on our holidays as was a positive experience.

We did not prebook today. The terrible rain resulted in a good number of customers. Even though the staff were light in numbers they worked hard to keep everyone happy and we did not wait long for hot food. We ate the special lunch offers and these were lighter dishes,just the right size with a reduced price starter or desert. The carvery was up to scratch offering three well cooked meat and veg. Veggie options are available too. Deserts were a bit sweet for me, but my wife has a sweet tooth and cleared her choc fudge cake!
