Unexpected place for Lincoln, a little out of town but that just means the parking is good. Staff welcoming and friendly but most importantly the sushi is fresh and delicious.
Ingredients were flavourful and well assembled. The centrepiece eel as a dragon was a good, whimsical touch.
Peanut butter pie earns any place an immediate minimum star, in my opinion
Would definitely return, I hope they last.

The most amazing experience. Great staff, so friendly and helpful. Food was amazing and to watch it being cooked in front of you was fab to watch. Even the kids were mesmerised by the chefs. Totally enjoyable experience and will definitely return again in the near future.

Been to Ethan's 3 times now and the last visit was the best yet. Fillet steak with Japanese BBQ sauce was amazing. The only thing that lets this place down is the chefs doing the same routine over and over again, even though they are friendly and professional. Otherwise brilliant. Expensive but fantastic experience and you have your own personal chef cooking and entertaining right in front of you, so understandable. Love it.

Ethan's, or Damon's Japanese brother, is a really nice place to eat with a group of friends and or family.
If you're lucky enough to land the head chef, you're in for a treat. We had a great time watching Simon perform awesome tricks for us. Everything he cooked was brilliant too. But I have to say, I could cook all the Teppanyaki to the same standard at home. But maybe I'm biased (also a head chef).
Simon did a good job of correcting the two mistakes made when ordering, and was very engaging. He turned what could have been a negative in to a positive. I really appreciated that, and the extra lengths he went to, to keep us entertained.
My one heavy criticism would be of the meat potions. I know from my own experience that for a couple of pounds, you can buy a large duck breast, especially in bulk. So I was disappointed that the duck breast was clearly on the very small side. But that didn't take away from the fact that every other aspect of the meal was excellent. I will DEFINITELY go back.
Other than that, the Sake machine was broken, yet they worked around it. The desert of deep fried, vanilla ice cream was incredible, as Simon said it would be.
