I've visited numerous times for great nights out with friends, such a fantastic place and the burritos are phenomenal, best burritos ever.
So one day when my mum and her whippet Skye were visiting Liverpool and needed a dog friendly place to eat I took her to Evil Eye. It's just as fantastic during the day and the food was excellent as usual. Plus the staff were incredibly friendly and even went out of their way to get some dog treats for my mum's dog. One very happy whippet! Marvellous place.
Stopped in on a whim today and had the best vegetarian burrito I have ever tasted!
The barbecue halloumi with all the extras - limey coriander rice, slightly spicy veg, pico de gallo and refried beans - was delicious. Rich without being overpowering, plenty of flavour without scorching heat. Perfect!
Add the fresh sweet potato fries and the refreshing sweetness of the locally produced watermelon soda and you’ve got an excellent meal at an extremely reasonable price.
Big shout out to Neil (hope I spelled that right?!) and Coco the puppy, who gave me such a lovely welcome! :-D
Love the atmosphere and interior, food was lovely and big portions! The staff were attentive and all safe and covid secure. They do delivery too! Would highly recommend.
