Middletons Steakhouse & Grill Norwich

PERFECT! Cannot fault this place. I have been here 3 times, and each time, it just gets better! The food, drinks, staff, the atmosphere and the price! Spot on. I've had Beef Wellington, a steak meal, and a burger meal.. obviously not in the same day!. All very VERY tasty! Cannot wait to go back for our birthdays in May! Well done Middletons. Please don't ever change!

Visited at 8pm on a Friday night and had the bottomless brunch (last serving) which included Prosecco, certain cocktails and draught Peroni. In the 1.5 hours we were there we had great service from Francesco (think that's how you spell it) and the cocktails and prosecco was flowing endlessly (we certainly had out value out of the £36.95 per person). As expected menu is limited but there was sufficient choices to keep us happy. Always have great service and experiences here, next will be to go for breakfast.

We visited on a Friday evening and there wasn't a spare seat in the house so booking is essential! Seated and served quickly. The ribs starter was small but very tasty. The fillet steak was out of this world. It's all pretty upmarket price-wise but worth it once in a while for a special dinner out with my lovely lady

Had a nice break after Xmas and popped into Norwich for some dinner and luckily booked into Middletons Steakhouse. Ordered the 16oz Ribeye which I can safely say was the best steak I’ve had in the UK in 5 years…and only £32! Staff were really helpful and friendly and the wines were also decently priced. Somewhat weirdly they even offered to remove the 10% service charge…that’s never happened to me before?! But of course I gladly paid it as the whole experience was wonderful. Don’t know when but we will def be back.

The food is absolutely incredible! We went on a Friday evening so it was very busy. But everyone was so friendly, great service. We went to celebrate my birthday. Best lemon lime drinks! For starters we had camembert and aranchi. For our mains we had A cheese burger and Middleton burger! The meat is so soft and full of flavour. Would 100% recommend Middletons!

Amazing food, brilliant service and a warm, inviting atmosphere. I really can't fault it. Food - I wanted to end the year with a bang and new year's falling on a Sunday it felt right to do so with a roast. I went for roasted lamb and my partner had roast beef. Everything was cooked perfectly, the meat was soft and glistening, the veg was soft enough but still had the perfect bite and every bite was seasoned to perfection. - For dessert I had a white chocolate and lemon roulade and my partner had a crème brûlée. My roulade was rich but the lemon cut through perfectly and the crème brûlée was rich and creamy, all top notch. - I had a Proni to drink which was one of the two beers they had on draft but their wine list is fantastic, it's one of the few places I've been with a decent picpoul sold by the glass. Service - The service was impeccable, attentive without being intrusive, friendly and accommodating, it's worth noting they add a 10% service charge to the bill but our server earned it. - Food was delivered swiftly and piping hot, and we weren't rushed at all along the way even giving that it's new year's eve. A+. Atmosphere - Middleton's is a warm and inviting restaurant split across 2 floors, I didn't go upstairs but downstairs was a calm and inviting space. The dividers running down the middle of the restaurant alleviate the awkward ploked feeling you can get being stuck in the middle. The music was a little loud for my taste but not as intrusive as some places. - There is a disabled toilet on the ground floor but there are a couple of stairs to get into the restaurant so bear that in mind. Gangways are also a little bit tight. I'd definitely recommend heading down.

Had an absolutely lovely evening last night. Sadly I didn't get our waiters name but he was really lovely and made sure we had everything we needed. As it is just before Christmas and it was fairly busy, our food took slightly longer than normal but was still very high quality, actually probably the best I've had at Middleton's in a few years! So it was definitely worth the wait. I had the baked scallops and they were amazing. I've never had them here before and I am so glad I tried them. I also had the calamari here for the first time and it was so good! I love the bite size pieces. My ribs were amazing as always. I asked if they could do me some garlic bread too, which they did! Very garlicky, just how I like it. My only criticism which is my potato dauphinoise was quite watery which I am not a fan of, but the actual flavour was still very nice.

Amazing food, drink and service. We were served by Luke who was incredibly attentive and able to have a laugh with us. Food is incredible; between the 4 of us we had sirloin, roasts and a burger and they were all exquisite. Even the 'boring' parts of roasts (parsnips basically!) were incredible. Great selection of drinks. We were so full from starters, mains and sides we couldn't manage the desert, but they looked delicious. Not cheap, but worth every single penny . Easily the best place to eat in the city, especially for occasions
