The Roll Call

Have been twice in the last few weeks. First time on a Sunday for a roast and again on a Saturday for my daughter's birthday. Lovely pub, and pleasing that there weren't loads people crammed close together. There's also outside seating options - both front and back. Food was really delicious, home cooked and massive portions. The staff were very friendly and helpful and very sensitive to the needs of our young granddaughters. It was nice that there was some background music but nothing too loud. Good value for your money. Lovely atmosphere and family friendly. Will definitely go again!

I have only started visiting here again recently and i must say that i am impressed, the services if fantastic, the beer is well kept and all in all its well worth the visit. highly recommended if you fancy a chill in the garden and a really nice pint of whatever you choose. Really friendly team across the board Good experience and i must say that this is becoming my Friday night treat after a hard week. Cant comment on the food yet, but from what i have heard, its really good as well.

Love this place. The best pub roast we have ever had. The staff are lovely and they all remembered us after only one previous visit. The waitress also remembered that my child has a nut allergy. I would definitely recommend you give it a try. The roast on the left is a small pork roast (not so small) and the other is the lamb roast - delicious!

Just had the best traditional home cooked roast dinner in a very long time at this pub. No wonder you have to book to get a table on a Sunday. Very quick, delightful and friendly service in a very friendly warm and quiet atmosphere. Very hard to beat this experience. Will be returning as much as we can. Thank you.

The Roll Call, finally an opportunity to indulge, having heard many positive comments and read the rave reviews on trip adviser enjoyed the most delicious Sunday roast, exquisite, great service from very friendly staff. You will need to book as this is a very popular and busy venue, loved everything about it. Special mention of the New Zealand touch, Old Mout Cider is among the Bar refreshments.
