Love this place. The best pub roast we have ever had. The staff are lovely and they all remembered us after only one previous visit. The waitress also remembered that my child has a nut allergy. I would definitely recommend you give it a try. The roast on the left is a small pork roast (not so small) and the other is the lamb roast - delicious!
Have been twice in the last few weeks. First time on a Sunday for a roast and again on a Saturday for my daughter's birthday. Lovely pub, and pleasing that there weren't loads people crammed close together. There's also outside seating options - both front and back. Food was really delicious, home cooked and massive portions. The staff were very friendly and helpful and very sensitive to the needs of our young granddaughters. It was nice that there was some background music but nothing too loud. Good value for your money. Lovely atmosphere and family friendly. Will definitely go again!
What a lovely traditional pub , super welcome, food well cooked and piping hot , , my sis and dad had rhubarb and custard for pud , we will definitely be back...
The Roll Call, finally an opportunity to indulge, having heard many positive comments and read the rave reviews on trip adviser enjoyed the most delicious Sunday roast, exquisite, great service from very friendly staff. You will need to book as this is a very popular and busy venue, loved everything about it. Special mention of the New Zealand touch, Old Mout Cider is among the Bar refreshments.
A really nice pub with many tables outside on the grass. They have a tented area for the rain. Excellent COVID protocols and ordering is a breeze through their online page.
Good selection of beers , ciders and ales.
Very good. The pub has changed Good food lot's of it and very helpful homely staff. Walking group of 8 and all said they would like to go back again.
I have only started visiting here again recently and i must say that i am impressed, the services if fantastic, the beer is well kept and all in all its well worth the visit.
highly recommended if you fancy a chill in the garden and a really nice pint of whatever you choose.

Great food and great beer! Flowerpots ale is the best. Staff here are amazing and it's a shame they are leaving. They have a bar area and an eating area, seating also available outside. Proper local pub!
I took my dad here for his birthday lunch and it was so a cosy and a nice pub felt welcoming and the food was amazing. It was also very well priced for three of us. Would recommend and will be going again.
