I am coeliac and have been desperately wanting good quality gluten free fish and chips. Tonight my son came in and it was cooked fresh from scratch for me in no time at all. Absolutely delicious with the same crunch and flavour but was evident it was gluten free and I would not be unwell. Will be a weekly Friday ritual now. Thank you!!

The people working there when I went did not understand English well and I had to repeat my order several times. Even then, it was not as I wanted it, but the food was good. Well cooked chips and seasoned mushy peas.

Good fish n chips here, served in a nice cardboard box. We go quite often.
Only complaint is that they're a bit tight with the salt n vinegar ;)

Always a lovely friendly service from the team. All fish is cooked to order and very tasty.
There is also a wide range of additional menu items to choose from including the usual pies as well as scampi, chilli con cane and other options.

My first visit to Heaton Moor Fish Bar travelling from Didsbury. Excellent fish and chips. Cheerful staff and no delays in being served. Chips just the way I like them. Not too thick. When did they become a 'thing'?
