They were full and said we'd have to wait 40min but eventually after telling them we had a long and tiring day they managed to give us a table. Very, very nice staff, great attitude, super tasty food, amazing little restaurant, perfectly clean, very reasonably priced as well. Highly recommended! PS: By far the best value eat in the centre of Windermere
We first called in after looking at the reviews on this quaint little restaurant on the highstreet. Got some really nice reviews compared to another Chinese restaurant that was near there. Although their wasn't enough room at the time, due to being only bring a small restaurant. We were asked to come back an hour later. Which we did! They found us a nice little table with leg room. We didn't order a starter. Only a main course & just sparkling water. The service was good & the meal was lovely. The bill was reasonably priced for what we ordered just under £35 !

Quite a busy place and the quality of the food justifies the crowd. Food is great and portion sizes are reasonable as well.
Deducting one point as The menu outside the outlet is probably old and have lower prices then what’s inside. It’s misleading for customers on a budget.

We had the pleasure of dining at this Chinese restaurant during our Lake District holiday, and it exceeded all our expectations. Despite not being avid fans of Chinese cuisine, we decided to give it a try, and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was exceptional, far surpassing any previous Chinese dining experiences we've had.
Staffs were outstanding their exceptional service made it a memorable dining experience. We would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Lake District.
The Chinese food on offer is excellent! Makes up for the simple ambience. Service is prompt, courteous and efficient. Must be popular for takeaways can imagine. Nice location close to Windermere train station and clean restrooms. Punches above its rating!

Small and cosy, we had to come back in half an hour as there wasn't any space.

The food was just excellent. After a serious long search for Indian and Chinese restaurant, it ended up with Golden Mountain. But we were just worried whether it will be good or what. When we received the food, it was yummy, We ordered a Beef fried rice special fried rice. Bith were superb.
Great food and great prices. The staff are well behaved and very helpful. It's a cozy place but very busy. If you plan to dine in please make sure you call them in advance for reservation.
Also for take away you can place the order by phone or place order and then take a small walk around.
Great food and service, friendly staff. I thought that they messed up the bill, it turned out that the white rice was £2.8 each, I was very surprised by it. In the US if you order dishes, the white rice comes with them for free. It was my bad, should have read the menu more carefully. But in general, everything was very satisfying. Would definitely recommend this.
