Had a recent small tea party for my mother's 94th birthday.
Ordered sandwich platters, quiche and cheese and chutney platter.
Food was delicious and enjoyed by everyone.
Presentation was wonderful and especially liked the labelling so we all knew what we wanted to choose.
Would definitely use again.

Popped in for a spontaneous quick lunch & coffee. Service was excellent and the sandwiches were delicious! Always grateful to see great gluten free choices. Highly recommend - well done H&C team!
Haley and Clifford, what can I say, the food is superb, so many tasty options and really great atmosphere. The customer service is always brilliant especially Jess, Milla and Harriet. Highly recommend visiting.
Visiting from the south to see the family, and they introduced us to this glorious deli café.
What an array of produce... ranging from homemade cakes and tiffins, creamy cheeses and charcuterie, olives and nibbles.
Scrummy selection of unusual salads, patés, sandwiches, quiches and all manner of foods for breakfast, lunch and tea.
We enjoyed a smooth, creamy latte coffee, cappuccino and a babyccino.
As an aside, they had a really moving display of black and white photos of people with their mothers, in preparation for Mother's Day.
Will go back before we return home, your should too

Returned in May 2023. Now under new ownership. Deli looks good.
We stopped by for a breakfast baguette of bacon and egg. Very tasty. Service a little slower than I’d expect as it was quiet.
Will try it again soon.

I haven’t been in here since lockdown. We used to call in regularly when we were new to the area.
Thought I’d give it another try.
First impression wasn’t great. Both staff seemed very uninterested in the customers. Very poor interactions and I felt like I was in their way.
Ordered coffee and croissant. Croissant marked as £1.70 on the. stand. Coffee £3.00 on the board.
Came to pay and the croissant was charged at £3.70 - as eating in. No difference on the coffee.
117% increase to eat in. Ridiculous.
Cancelled my order.
There are better places for value and service around here.

Great place to go any time of the day. It recently started opening Friday and Saturday evenings for drinks and nibbles and I can definitely recommend.

Coffee is unbelievably smooth. No hint of bitterness at all. As for the quiche, just simply outstanding. Pastry just perfect and a lovely mild sweetness throughout. Friendly service. Bacon sandwich with relish is spot on !!
Update 270123 not been for a while since last 3 coffees were awful. May try again at some point.
Really good food consistently and lovely atmosphere. It’s always busy but service always great and staff are really on the ball.
The menu is great and salads always available.
