Me and friends was at the pub last night for a retirement party.. Its the first time I've been and I can honestly say we all had a brilliant night.. The staff are lovely and the food was really nice and the dj was fantastic. I will definitely be going back. I would recommend the travelers rest for a nice friendly night out.

Great place. Sit outside or indoors for food. Staff serve quickly and take order for food with ease. Food comes hot and spot on everytime. Can be busy on sunny days but not rowdy. Great deals on menu. Even have Teddy grabbing machine and won a few teddies

Lovely place. Came with family for the first time, will most certainly come back when in the area. Food was amazing. Would recommend. Nice and clean which is hard to find these days. Friendly staff. Keep up the good work!

Visited twice in the same week. Once with my friend for dinner and the pub quiz on Wednesday evening. Very nice pub food and a very jovial and friendly atmosphere for the quiz. Went again at the weekend. Good food and always impressed by how friendly and helpful the staff are. Lovely pub, must go more often!

Great pub, lovely food. Staff are friendly and capable, and food comes quickly. Nice atmosphere, can get busy sometimes but not too busy. Chill sunday spot.

Liam was absolutely amazing! Banter on point, very welcoming made me and my friend smile on multiple occasions would definitely come back just to say hi to Liam :) best customer service I’ve received from this pub! Hope this gets back to him and he smiles as much as he made us smile :)

Visited the travellers rest this morning to watch the women's world cup final and have some food and drinks. They opened early and served a breakfast menu with plenty of options at a really good price, We had the epic breakfast which was was exactly that. The pub was busy and the atmosphere was brilliant, the staff was friendy and quick to serve at the busy bar and bring out the food. We will definitely be back again soon as the breakfast is advertised for every saturday morning and was very good value.

Came with my 3 children and partner for some lunch on our walk today, food was great and hot. Service was lovely. I haven’t been in for a few years until today. The pub in itself seems to have gotten a lot nicer and a real nice vibe to it.
