Bishop's Dining Room & Wine Bar

Went here last night with my parents and partner. We felt very welcomed by everyone. Tables were set out beautifully, they took note of my dad's allergy and were able to recommend alternative dishes where needed and offer substitutes on current dishes as well, even redoing the side vegetables before they came out of the kitchen because they realised it had that certain ingredient! The red wine we chose was decantered before serving and tasted devine, the whole experience was worth every penny and I highly recommend this place to anyone who is going out to eat or even just a glass of wine!

We visited Bishop's in between two films at Cinema City. We've been a few times over the years, and it's always been enjoyable. On this occasion, it was for their Sunday lunch. A Sunday roast is never as good in a pub or restaurant as it is at home. Timings of potatoes and Yorkshire puddings usually don't fit in with individual service times. However, Bishop's pulled it off. It's probably the best Sunday Roast I've had out, certainly in Norfolk.

Another excellent birthday meal. Gourmet dishes. Spot on wine recommendations. Cheeky after dinner drinks at the bar. Highly recommended Second Update: delightful Sunday lunch. Another perfect wine recommendation from Alex. Asparagus starter was spot on 😋 Beef and lamb mains were delicious and came with plenty of trimmings. Cauliflower cheese made with Dapple was divine 🧀 Went for the pineapple 🍍 and rum dessert. Fragrant, light and perfect end to the meal. Thank you Alex and the whole Bishops team 🥰

I would very highly recommend visiting Bishops. The food was of an exceptional standard, as was the service. The menu has recently been updated by the new and extremely talented chefs and their passion for food is reflected in the dishes. All the staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring our visit was special. Best dining experience we’ve had. Thank you, we’ll be back!
