Nice small cute place, beef pho is ready within 15mins, you can ask to take away as well like I did.
The soup base is so flavourful, I could drink a bucket of it, beef is very tender and well cooked too. The only downside is the noodles, they were stuck together and a bit too soft to my taste.
Food and service was good...authentic even, except for the sauce, but that's a small issue. The service was good and prompt.
Delicious food and friendly service. It was very quiet when we went so not much atmosphere but it seemed to the staff like it was unusual. Would definitely go back. The triple cooked pork was a big hit, and the spring rolls were delicious!
I regularly eat in this lovely little Vietnamese restaurant at lunchtime. The food is always excellent, the service is very friendly and the lady takes the time to chat if they are not too busy. There is a downstairs (street level) area and an upstairs. Food arrives in a reasonable time. The location is perfect, a small side street in the centre of York and the ambience is quite country-style with rough wood visible, like we would call 'rustic'. This all adds up to a lovely tasty experience and the price is not too bad although a little high for lunchtime. My favourite dish is the coconut curry with chicken, which is rich in flavour and delicious.
A small oasis of calm in bustling central York, with good service and relaxing music. The food was delicious and my stir-fried lemongrass chicken was perfect for lunch. If you need a break from the crowds of tourists and shoppers, and a delicious lunch, this is the place.
We ate here last night, and we all really enjoyed our meals. I was very impressed by the selection of gluten-free food which was great for me. Thank you.
This is a lovely Vietnamese restaurant in the center of York. The food is delicious and even though it's a relatively small menu, there's plenty to choose from!
We went on a Saturday and managed to get a table without a reservation but it did get quite busy when we were leaving. There's seating both on the ground floor and upstairs.
The only reason the restaurant gets four stars instead of five is that the floor by our table was really dirty. The restaurant largely looked clean but we had a table by the wall and that area of the floor was rather dirty.
Although the portions could be a little larger for the price, my girlfriend and I (both veggie) shared the garlic-braised tofu and tamarind soy noodles which were both beautiful!! A little more sauce on the noodles would have been great but the tofu was the best tofu we’ve both ever had, so flavourful!!! Lovely service too, no complaints about service charge here!
Walked in here for some food one day. Small place but the person serving was welcoming. although she had a couple of other, rather demanding guests in, service was still fast and friendly. Food was pretty fast to come out but tasted fresh and delicious. Will definitely be eating here again next time in in york. Highly reccomend.
The most delicious food!! Everything we ordered was incredible and the staff were attentive and lovely, working around dietary requirements. I only wish I could’ve eaten more - will absolutely be back.
