An Exceptional Dining Experience. The vibrant energy and welcoming atmosphere is something to applaud for. Every dish I tried was bursting with authentic flavors and cooked to perfection. The quality and freshness of the ingredients were evident, and the attention to detail in the preparation truly elevated the dining experience.
The staffs were outstandingly friendly and lovely. Their energy and friendly demeanor added to the overall positive ambiance of the restaurant.
Also due to their exceptional customer service the restaurants are always full during weekends.

It's the best Turkish restaurant in Liverpool, and it has consistently left me absolutely delighted with the dining experience. I always order the beyti kebab, which is incredibly delicious. I've also tried many other grilled dishes, and they have all been exceptionally good. I highly recommend this place.

Good good, prompt service.
The menu was very exhaustive and a lot of options for chicken, lamb, seafood!
Good options for a group and people with good appetite.
It’s a popular place and the place was fully booked, all the tables were full. Yet the service was fast. That is saying something about the kitchen.
Good quality food with good quantity. I would say don’t fill in your stomach with just the salads (it’s super tasty) order one plate for yourself from main-course.
We ordered the chicken wings, Turkish tea, lamb/ chicken with aubergine and Turkish pudding with ice-cream.

Food is always great here, you can't go wrong. The chicken is so tender, it melts in your mouth. Top quality, the main dishes come with rice and veggies, making them a proper meal. They also bring some bread and salad for the table with your orders.
Shame some of the waiters can be a little grumpy, took a while for someone to come get our order and the booking online did not seem to work, they told us it's a hit and miss. Luckily it was Tuesday night and they could squeeze us in.

Brilliant lunch menu, very reasonably priced.

Yesterday, upon arriving in Liverpool after a long journey from Wales, I was in search of a spot to enjoy some delectable food. I stumbled upon this establishment that boasted extended operating hours. The staff gave me a warm reception and graciously seated me, despite being a party of one. I was ushered to a pleasant corner of the restaurant. Soon after placing my order, I was treated to an exquisite and enticing salad, swiftly followed by an exceptional mixed grill that left me thoroughly satisfied. What an incredible dining experience and a hearty welcome to Liverpool—a city that I'm now contemplating a move to. If you find yourself indecisive about where to dine or are on the hunt for a great meal spot, hesitate no further; this is undoubtedly the place for you.

Incredible food, huge amounts. Staff was warm , welcoming, friendly, and funny. I wish we had found it earlier in our trip. I have celiac and they took very good care of me and brought out amazing gluten free pita style bread. The music only added to the atmosphere. Fantastic food and experience in an unassuming spot you might walk but shouldn’t!

Amazing gem of a restaurant on Bold Street. Some of the best authentic Turkish food that you will have!
The Karisik contains the best of everything and they are not stingy at all with the portion sizes!
The Beyti was also very nice though I’d recommend to ask for more garlic yoghurt.
A complimentary starter of Turkish Grilled Bread is also served - grilled on the meats which gives it a unique smoky flavour!
Be prepared to wait as they are always full!

Best Turkish restaurant in Liverpool. All meats were so tasty and their rice is my favorite. The atmosphere is nice too.

Food is super tasty and large portion. Staff are very nice. We couldn’t finish it and took away the dish for the next day.

Excellent food, so fresh and full of flavour. We ordered a lamb & chicken kebab with a side of houmous and bread. Will return again

Amazing Turkish restaurant that we drove all the way from Manchester to Liverpool to experience. We were not disappointed. Even the side salads gave the taste buds a tickle and for meat lovers there was a beautifully presented mix of lamb, chicken in all their guises.

I visited Elif with 3 friends. I was apprehensive as to whether I would like the food. I had no need to have felt like that because the food was sooo good, tasty, cooked to perfection and plenty of it! I'm virtually certain that I'll be going back there soon. I love lamb so I was delighted with the amount of it on the sharing platter. I don't normally have anything cooked with garlic, and I didn't taste any but, I was looking online at the Elif menu this evening and realised that almost EVERYTHING ON THE MENU contained garlic!! I could neither taste or smell it and it ain't going to stop me putting on the proverbial nose-bag and diving into another helping of the culinary delights served at Elif restaurant, Bold Street,Liverpool.

The service was very friendly. I really like their Beyti kebab and the mixed grill platter. I can rate the Restaurant 10/10! Must try for all.

Elif was always a 5 star rating for me, but is now a 4 star.
We've been coming to this restaurant since they opened and this is the first time the standards and experience has dropped. It was almost like eating Turkish fast food tonight. Still a great restaurant if you're in Liverpool. Always very busy but felt a bit 'get them in, get them out' tonight which was sad and a change from our last 5 visits.
It's still an excellent and authentic Turkish food restaurant and it's got a lively and buzzing feel to the place.
Book to avoid disappointment as it's been busy every time we've visited and you'll be waiting outside for a long time as a walk in.
The lamb liver starter is a must try. Portions are huge, so make sure you're hungry and don't over order which is easy to do.
The bill was about £8 out this time too, which we didn't notice until we'd left and service charge is now added, which again is a new thing, as we tip anyway so didn't add extra tip this time.
It's a great restaurant, but we know it can be much better with more soul and better service, so it's a disappointing review of my 5 visit review tonight.
I'm also not sure we'll come back as we felt a bit deflated after this visit.

Food was so good . Had the lunch special for 14.95 for 2 course. Plenty of options and good service .
Had the turkish tea too which was nice.

Great lunch here! Got the cold platter and everything was very delicious. The hummus was some of the best I've had and the meatballs were excellent. Liked everything so much we stayed for dessert as well!

Wonderful chicken BBQ. 10/10 recommended. Juicy and flavorful! In the rice pudding rice is kinda raw and hard so not recommended. Yogurt drink is amazing with salt. Salad is greeeeat!

Very tasty place. The server was very nice. Offered me salad with my course. Everything is simply delicious and good portions as well. Would recommend :)

Great place to taste Mediterranean and Turkish food. There are lots of Vegeterian or non vegetarian options which taste great. Absolutely amazing.

The food there is way better than any Turkish food I had in Bay Area, although some places in New York came close. Maybe the lack of great Turkish Food where I live makes me rave about the one I had in Europe (for example, in Vienna as well), but both variety (for example, try to get chicken liver in US) and execution is on a radically different level. Not to forget the portions - when they give you fish, they actually give you the whole fish and not a portion thereof. It may be true the manager looks more like a drill sergeant than mannequin with a sugary smile which some other reviewers seem to expect, but it is a fairly large place with a lot of moving parts, so if he runs a tight ship, it is no skin off my nose!

Rudest manager ever
The food is good and the waiters are doing thier job in perfect way. But obviously you can see the manger of the resturant is treating them in very bad and rude way. You feel like if you would like to punch his face when see how much is non porfessional manager..at the end i was unable to hold my self. And told him, are you name yourself manager. You are piece of shit..and i just left the restaurant...i will never ever eat in places with rude managers. Is it enough to see them everyday?

Fantastic fresh kabobs and salads. The manager stayed open late for us on a Tuesday night and it was the best meal we've had on holiday. The feta is super fresh and smooth and the charcoal grilled boneless chicken thighs are incredible. Don't skip the falafel either.

Good food. Good price. Efficient and pleasant staff. Nice watching grill prep while waiting. We had for apps and split meatballs. Excellent meatballs but rice was basic. Was disappointment compared to the nicely seasoned dishes and meats. Grilled bread was delicious and was glad we splurged in a few apps as all were excellent.
