I needed a venue to meet people for coffee, then lunch with others dropping in during the afternoon. The Manager was extremely helpful, especially about the wheelchair access I needed for one guest.
My lunch wasn’t quite what I expected but the simpler dishes looked good. The teas are delicious.

Had a lovely breakfast at Leaf. The food quality is brilliant and the portion size was decent.
The staff were friendly and polite.
The restaurant itself is set out nicely, it's a big place with plenty of tables and seating and we didn't feel like we were sat on top of other customers.
Would definitely recommend the English Breakfast and the Chorizo and Scrambled Egg on Sourdough.

I’ve gone here with my boyfriend twice and got the same thing each time as it was so delicious! The halloumi + falafel flat bread is amazing. The selection of teas were fantastic and tasted great! The decor is also very pretty. Would recommend!

Lovely place, helpful staff, wine a little on the expensive side. Depending on what you order, you don't get a lot for what you pay for. Little bit noisey, but l would definitely go again. This is buttermilk chicken £7.95, chips were extra at £4.50. Prices as at September 2023.

One of my favourite foodie gems in Liverpool. Great staff, comfortable but lively atmosphere and tasty food.
English breakfast is yummy and fresh always, but if you're in the mood for something later in the day, they serve a couple brunch items along with burgers and other faves. The sauce for the beef burger is worth trying again and again - lots of dill! Get it on the side to dip your chips ;)

Very nice food! Service quite slow but that’s expected in busy restaurant like that. Also portions are very big!

Our absolute favourite place to breakfast and lunch in Liverpool. Super fast and friendly service. The french toast was the best I've ever had in my life!! Great for vegetarian and vegan options and the coffee and matcha tea were great too. Would definitely recommend!!

Had the vegan breakfast and it was delicious. Prange juice and oat cappuccino were perfect, too.
The very friendly staff made my stay there absolutely enjoyable❤.

I was here as a guest at my friends reception. Excellent place for wedding events and art related workshops. I have been here before and enjoyed every visit. I didn't get a chance to eat but was drinking more than anything. Will try the food another time. Hopefully do my own creative workshop here.

I usually love Leaf. I’ve gone with friends, family & dates - it’s always been a great environment with good food, drink & staff so I was SO surprised when I went last night. I never leave bad reviews but this time I’m making an exception. I went to the bar and asked the barmaid politely if there were any sparkly cocktails. It wasn’t a majorly serious request as it was a joke for the person I was with but the response was “we don’t use glitter, cause it’s actually bad for the environment...” And it was in the most arsey patronising way. She then made me 2 drinks and took my payment & went straight to the next customer. When I asked if I could please have 2 straws she again had the worst attitude, looked at me and didn’t reply. Continued to serve the customer then reluctantly handed me 2 straws. I knew she was reluctant because....Yes - they were plastic and yes- I actually knew that they were ALSO bad for the environment but 1. You’re the place serving plastic straws & 2 goblet glasses usually come with straws anyway.
Liverpool is one of the best places for top hospitality so it’s rare you’ll find terrible customer service in such a great industry. I’ll definitely think twice before returning. I’ve given 2 stars instead of one because I take it the girl might have been having an off day?!

I played the open mic night here, they have a lovely atmosphere for live music of the hipster variety, but I wasn’t so keen on the food. The burger I had was a bit too herbal for my taste and it didn’t go down too well. Their fudge cake was tasty and generously portioned, albeit very dry

Really like this place for brunch and chilled out evenings with good wine and beer with tasty nibbles like chorizo or garlic prawns. The Moroccan lamb rump is excellent served with coriander rice and beans. Very good choice of food and of course tea!

It’s a great place situated on Bold st, popped in for a little snack, just had a chopped ham sandwich and a cappuccino, which as far as butties go, it was fab. It’s a great place to sit and watch the world go by and people watch x

We stumbled upon this fantastic restaurant on our first evening in Liverpool during our holidays from Australia...we were so impressed with the quality, freshness and innovative dishes here..The staff were also so friendly.. we thoroughly recommend it.. loved the hummus dish particularly...

Ok but don't think I will visit again but disappointed no waiter service to order food. Had the soup and sandwich and must admit can make far better soup myself and A LOT cheaper.

Loved the breakfast and will definitely go back. Only down side was there were plenty of staff on but nobody asked if the food was okay, my toast was burnt and I just ate most of it anyway.. would have been perfect otherwise!

Me and my four daughter in laws had dinner and drinks on the 17th December 2017, we had great evening, lovely food, fab waiter Liam who couldn’t do enough to make our evening special. My only gripe was we were in the corner and the lighting was poor so I struggled to see my food. Would definitely go again.

Never seen such a selection of tea. First time here what a wonderful experience. Hubub of character, music, very friendly staff and lots going on to come back for. This is a place I will always visit every time I visit Liverpool.

It’s my first visit to Leaf, recommended by my son who lives a 5 minute walk away. We only had a drink and sandwich. The ham sandwich was excellent, and it’s been a long time since I’ve drunk tea that’s not from a teabag. Wonderful, well worth a visit.
