First time visiting here after searching trip advisor for places to eat near the empire theatre, so glad we chose here. Food was amazing full of flavour and authentic. Staff are friendly and helpful and the restaurant is cosy and inviting. Will definitely be returning when we visit Liverpool again.
The authentic flavors of the curries took me back to when my grandfather would cook his homemade curries, he grew up in Agra as a young boy before settling in Liverpool.

A weekend away at Liverpool and found this gem. This has to be the best Indian restaurant I have been to. Clean, pleasant, good atmosphere with traditional Indian music in the background. Booths with plenty of room to sit at. Attentive staff without being a nuisance. The food was first class with no pressure to finish our meal quickly. Ambience, wonderful. Cannot praise this restaurant enough. A must visit for visitors to Liverpool and for the locals.

A really great experience, lovely friendly staff, food was very nice and reasonably priced well worth the money. I told the restaurant when I booked that it was my wife’s birthday 🎂 and they brought a little cake and sang happy birthday and it made our night thanks so much and we’ll be back next time we’re in Liverpool.

What a warm and welcoming place. The decor was lovely and it was very clean. The service was outstanding from the moment we arrived to when we left. It was a busy Saturday night but nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The food was lovely and well presented and it was very reasonably price. Would recommend booking like we did as you do not what to miss out and it looks like it is busy at weekends.

Hidden gem in Victoria Street. Staff are lovely, service and food is excellent. Best Indian food I've ever had. My No 1 place to eat from now on. I booked online and when we entered we where seated straight away and our drinks order was taken. Great value for money. Highly recommend

Dined in the restaurant. Drinks and starters served fairly quickly. Had a bit of a wait for the main course. However it was busy and there were eight in our party. The food was however excellent once it arrived.
No complaints and would recommend.

Another delicious meal in Sultan's Palace. We always eat here when we are in Liverpool. Wonderfully decorated restaurant. One of the best vindaloos I've ever eaten. Dreaming about the garlic naan!

Had the chicken tikka masala, garlic naan & onion rice & it was all delicious. We shared this between 2 women & it was more than enough. Great service !

I have been a regular at this Indian restaurant for years, and I continue to be amazed by their consistent quality and exceptional service. The food is consistently excellent, with a wide range of options to suit all tastes. Whether you're a fan of spicy curries or mild and flavorful vegetarian dishes, they have it all. The staffs are always welcoming and attentive, making you feel like a part of their extended family.

Loved the vibe of this place and the staff were pretty welcoming.
For starters we got the Veg Mix Starter comprising of 2 Vegetable Samosas, 2 Onion Bhajis, 3 Tandoori Mushrooms and 2 pieces of Shimla Paneer Tikka - the paneer and samosas were outstanding - truly screams of Indian authenticity.
We kicked off our mains with Butter Chicken and Keema Naan - both amazing in taste and serving size was adequate. We hopped onto the mushroom pulao which was an unexpected surprise.
For the dessert, we got ourselves a chocolate fudge brownie and the much craved Matka Kulfi!! I have got to say the kulfi was amazing in taste and a must try although the same can’t be said about the brownie as it felt a bit sticky and mushy. Note: The pot in which the kulfi was served contained a big layer of inedible ice at the bottom, much to our disappointment - meaning the size of the kulfi serving may not be sufficient for some.

My first visit to Sultan's Palace and they exceeded all my expectations. The flavours are authentic, and the portions are generous. I tried their Biryani, and it was a party in my mouth. The staff made me feel like a regular, even though it was my first visit. It's rare to find a place where the food and the atmosphere both win your heart – Sultan's Palace is definitely one of them.

We recently visited this restaurant and ordered Saag Paneer, Onion Kulcha and Naan. The food items were delicious. The service was prompt and the ambience was awesome. I definitely recommend visiting this restaurant. This is one of the best Indian restaurants in Liverpool, I had an amazing time there.

Great venue, great food and great service. Being cheapskates, we opted for the three course early evening menu for £16.90 and I couldn't fault the food at all. The only disappointment was the choice of background music of pan pipes - lets have traditional Indian music. We'll be back again.

I attended a Diwali celebration (Festival of Lights) at this restaurant at a friend's recommendation and was delighted with the experience. The staff and management were gracious and attentive, the buffet food was delicious and the entertainment (a fusion of Indian and Western dance music provided by a live duo of DJ's) was superbly mixed and added the perfect backdrop for the evening's festivities. The restaurant was abundant with Indian clientele which was a fantastic seal of approval. I have already recommended the restaurant to my friends and would gladly return to dine there in future.

Tasty food, nice ambiance and polite staff, that's all you need when you eat out and this place is the best with that perspective. I had the best Indian food here in all over the UK. The spiciness of the food was just perfect. We ordered dal tadka, paneer kadai, plain naan and some garlic chilli naans. My personal favorite is the garlic chilli naan.

My ratings:
Food: 5/5
Ambiance: 5/5
Service: 4/5
Price: 4/5 (average price)
