It's been a while since we were last here. Went on Sunday night 6pm. Was empty. Quickly seated. Nice friendly man gave us menu and ordered drinks. Poppadoms and chutneys were nice. Daughter got chicken chat. She said the best she's had. I got chicken piri piri. It was amazing. Wife got chicken biryani. Witch was lovely. Daughter got chicken tikka masala. Witch was lovely. I got lamb handi. Witch I always get when I visit here. Its amazing. Naan bread was good. Couldn't fault it. Highly recommended. 👍

First visit was on a Friday night . We didn't book as we never thought it would be busy but they fitted us in . We waited 30 mins for a table not bad at all considering how busy they were. I don't think I have ever seen a restaurant as busy as the spice inn ever and the way all the staff coped was very commendable..all of the food we had was fantastic. We will definitely go back but we like a quiet restaurant so will try it mid week next time

We ordered a takeaway from the spice inn tonight and it was one of the nicest Indian takeaways I have had in a long time. Will definitely recommend. I would of been using your service for the last year if I had known you deliver. Excellent service and food.

Been here several times over the last couple of years and the food has always been good. However, this time , the poppadoms tasted like they'd been cooked in oil well past its best. But that's the only criticism 'food-wise '. The place wasn't busy but our main courses (-there were three of us-) took an inordinately long time - maybe an hour to arrive. What added insult to injury was that a bloke (obviously known to the staff) and his girl friend who came in much later than us were served almost immediately. When our food arrived, no complaints. But.... this delayed service has happened on other occasions. Minor gripe, because the food is lovely, but come on fellas... get it sorted.

Chicken tikka masala
Chicken korma
Honey chicken
Rai Puri (chicken and pineapple)

One of our favourite curry houses in Liverpool. The korma here is pretty much unbeatable. If you love a thick, creamy curry then this is a must visit 😍

Our first visit to Rainhill and tried this restaurant out, great selection of dishes both standard and out of the ordinary. We really enjoyed our meal, flavoursome, nicely presented, and not at all greasy.
Staff were lovely and decor was crisp and clean.

Amazing, every time. One time, the website wasn’t working for cards and had to be cash on delivery. I didn’t have any cash in the house, and they said sort it next time and delivered it!.

Lovely little Indian restaurant in Rainhill not far from the train station. Pub attached serves a great selection of drinks including real ale and gin. Can take drinks through from the pub to the restaurant or order from your table. Very nice restaurant setting and the food tastes great with good portion sizes for a great price. Can be busy so booking is recommended, especially for large groups.
