After being to Malaysia and Thailand we've been trying similar food in every restaurant around, but with bad luck. The delicious curry with the chicken skewers where nowhere to be found. Until now!
I ordered the chicken curry and it was simply the best curry I've ever had! They even had roti canai, the typical flat bread that you dip into the curry sauce.
We'll surely go back again!

I love this place. I've been here many a times with friends/date night with the boyfriend. Whenever I want tasty fresh (thai) food I always suggest here. The atmostophe is cosy and relaxing and the staff are always si lovely. I've never had a bad meal here, nor any one I've dined with said anything but lovely things. Definelty one of my favourite restaurants in Bristol.

Wow, just wow! Everything looked and tasted so amazing I didn't even have time to take a picture of it before eating it all!!! Chicken satay with peanut sauce, chicken curry and roti canai!!! It was like going back to Malaysia for an evening (it was even 30 degrees outside!) Really enjoyed my meal and staff were very friendly and attentive. As a constructive critique: chicken pieces were a bit too big for my taste.
The menu was full of interesting dishes, will definitely come back for more!

One of my absolute favourite places to take people! They have a really good range of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options so everyone's happy. I've never had a bad dish here, everything tasted enchanting and fresh. The cocktails are really worth a go, too.

My second time in this Pan-Asian restaurant, and the experience few months since the initial one was just as fantastic. Plenty of proper tasty options for your vegan and vegetarian friends. We had a few starters (fish cakes were so tasty, tempura prawns, same, but vegetarian half moon dumplings, and chili salt tofu a revelation!) Pad Thai, very flavoursome, sambal ditto, but it's the thick egg noodles with squid, muscles and scallops that took the prize. Our vegan friend's main of curry was reportedly awesome!

This is literally my favourite restaurant in Bristol, and it has been since it opened in 2004. The staff are wonderful and the food is always, without exception, delicious. I recently decided to become flexitarian and was delighted to find that they do some of my favourite dishes as a vegan option. I'm pleased to say that I wasn't disappointed. The tofu Thai green curry was amazing and the vegan dumplings delicious. Though the best starter is the chilli salt squid, they're actually all exceptional. The Thai basil chicken is amazing, as is the teriyaki chicken but, yummy food aside, it's the greeting we always get when we pop in that really makes Bauhinia one of the best places to eat in the South West. A++

Always a warm welcome here and consistently excellent food. I've been eating here now for over 3 years and there are a couple of dishes I come back to time and time again, but there seasonal specialities always give some interesting options also. It's a great neighbourhood hang out.

This is our favourite Thai in Bristol (and ne beyond!). The Thai red, green and pad Thai come highly recommended. The staff are always very kind and have excellent customer service. Absolutely worth a trip or takeaway!!

A lovely restaurant with very tasty food, with a decent but not overwhelming variety. Fresh ingredients were evident and flavours were nicely balanced.
Missed the fifth star, however, due to fairly wooden and overbearing service, which felt like the management wanted certain things 'pushed' on the customer, and excessive charges like the 50p for a teensy bowl of sriracha, a condiment which is left on the table in big bottles in even the most price-conscious cost-cutting restaurant. Which is a shame because the main attraction was so reasonably priced!

Absolutey love this place, one of the best Thai places in Bristol. Havnt found a better one as of yet! Very nice atmosphere, polite staff and more to the point beautiful food. For the starters I recommend the spicy fish cakes defo! The chicken skewers are also good (I prefer the fish cakes) pad Thai or the Thai green curry are to die for with big portions full of flavour. The curry is nice, rich and in a creamy sauce. The papaya salad was ok, nothing compared to what you would get in Thailand.
Definitely give this place a go if you like Thai food.

Utterly amazing. Three outstanding mains (including best beef rendang I think I've ever had) and a starterbig enough for three of us, pint of tiger and a couple of cokes, just over 50 quid. Would have happily paid twice that. Wish this place was closer to home.

Bauhinia is our favourite Thai restaurant in Bristol. Their vegetarian Nasi Goreng with pineapple is delightful. Really love going here or having a sneaky takeaway!

Couldn't fault this great place. Staff friendly and efficient. Food delicious and plenty of it but great value. Good atmosphere as well - we had a party of eight and everybody happy - thanks !
