This venue was a nice place to visit. The place was clean and tidy and seating was at a decent distance from other visitors. The staff were friendly helpful and knowledgable and very attentive, we did visit during a quiet time with very few patrons at tea time so not sure how attentive they are during busy times but it was easy to find staff when needed and they checked in often.
This place is a steak house so if your after steak it’s heaven with the amount of options for this is impressive however the rest of the menu for those not wanting steak is a bit lacking in range of options. The restaurant is on the higher priced side of gastro pubs and due to the lack of menu variations I have to prefer other venues to this but for steak houses it’s a good one.
The best part of this venue was before seating we were asked our preference of outside or inside with or without air con which was much appreciated as I do have friends that hate air con but I love it especially on this visit during the mini heat wave.
The wait for food was a little longer than expected as it seems steaks are prioritised as the neighbouring table who were seated and ordered after us both got their meals/steaks first so for that reason and the lack of variety to choose from I doubt we would be back but I could not fault the service of the girls working
The only downside was that a female member of staff who was off duty was in as a customer and she popped into the kitchen (we were sat next to the kitchen) and she greeted the chef and other server with some choice language Im not against the use of strong language but I did have a child with me who repeated the phrase and it insued a conversation and explanation about the word which wasn’t good my child could be seen and greeting your colleague loudly as ‘knobhead’ amongst a few others isn’t great there was an elderly woman who also heard as she was on her way to the loo and her face wasn’t best pleased either

Date of visit: 25/10/23.
Starter: Salt And Pepper Calamari - lovely calamari, not too chewy, in a tasty salt and pepper coating. I got a really large portion for a starter.
Main: 10oz Fillet Mignon Surf And Turf - two 5oz fillets, cooked to perfection, with a delicious lobster tail. The onion loaf alone is worth the visit!
Waitress: Ella - friendly, polite, very knowledgeable of the menu. She had a little chat with us when she wasn’t busy and made us feel very welcome. Excellent service.
Venue: great location based in Otterspool Park on the banks of the River Mersey. Lots of parking spaces.

Visited 28/6/23. Booked a table for 3.30pm. Clean restaurant, friendly staff. Good quality food would visit again.

A little out of the way to get to, so I expect all customers to arrive via car. Great location, though, if you want to combine food and drink at the venue with a walk along Otterspool prom, whether going north into the city centre or south towards Aigburth way. There are plenty of car parking spaces outside, as well as along the front of the promenade itself, which is less than 50m away.
We only had tea and coffee, so I can't comment on the food, but I have eaten here previously, and the food has always been above average.
The interior is very well presented and all the staff are smartly presented and always seem friendly and helpful.
We visited 1.30pm on a Sunday, so I expected it to be very busy with Sunday lunches, yet it was fairly quiet. Many venues are quiet at this time of the year though.

Lovely experience. Came around half 4 for lunchtime deal. Food was beautiful. We had calamari for starter which was perfectly cooked, steak and chicken for main which was delicious. And profiteroles for dessert which were beautiful!
Tina served us and she was so lovely and helpful.

Lexie was absolutely phenomenal, her passion for service and knowledge of the menu and cooking techniques was incredible. The steaks were cooked to perfection as were the sides. The sticky toffee pudding is good enough to start a riot. Already planning our next visit!

Great food.... and great service. They really go out of their way to make the experience special.
We had a large group but the service was amazing.
Also.. the girl behind the bar who greeted us when we arrived early was hilarious.

Had a faultless meal on Sat 14th Oct when over visiting family in Liverpool. Being from N.I. we do not have Miller & Carter so it is a real treat to visit. Having not been since pre covid I was hoping the standards would be as good as my previous visits & all I can say is wow they exceeded in all areas! After booking a table & having a situation being stuck in traffic, I phoned ahead to explain the situation & the lovely guy on the phone (sorry did not get his name) said it was no problem & he would hold our table. This was much appreciated! On arrival he took us to our table & handed over to Ella who was an absolute star! Friendly, professional & an expert on the menu, nothing was a problem, very impressed with her service. We had drinks, 3 starters & 3 different steaks & each part of the meal from the starters to sides, onion loaf, sauces & of course the steaks was beautifully cooked, presented well & perfectly warm & fresh! Wish we lived closer! Thank you Ella & team the staff made our visit.

My partner and I went for lunch here today and it was fab from start to finish. Our server Maderson was so friendly and very knowledgeable when it came to the menu and has great customer service! I would highly recommend the nachos, tandoori lamb and the desert that looks like a huge profiterole lol I had a few cocktails which were also gorgeous and would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Great service all round and the staff were lovely. We will definitely be visiting again xx

Took my partner for a birthday meal here on Tuesday. As soon as we got to the door we were told that they had ran out of burgers, ribs and garlic bread which was upsetting as I didn’t particularly want to eat steak that day. When we sat down we ordered a shared platter and were approached 10 minutes later and told they didn’t have the food for the starter however they did accommodate by letting us pick other starters. My partners main meal was lovely his steak was cooked to perfection however I ordered the lamb rump as they had no burgers which is what I wanted to try which was over cooked and burnt and not enjoyable whatsoever. I felt the meal and fact they had no food was not worth the £70 we paid

The look and ambiance of this restaurant were perfect. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Our server, Connor, was a great young man, very knowledgeable on the products and on hand for anything that we needed without intruding on our evening. The starters, chipotle chicken and nachos, were outstanding, we could have eaten them again. Followed by T bone steak and BBQ chicken as mains which were cooked to perfection, side orders were also delicious. At this point I was so full that it pained me to order the banoffee pie, but like every good soldier I battled on. My tastebuds were extremely glad that I did as it was out of this world, however my stomach was ready to pop. I had two cocktails through the evening which were delicious. Importantly for us ladies, the toilets were clean and had everything needed within the cubicle. I cannot fault thks place, will most definitely be back, and wish you every success.

Four of us had lunch yesterday 27/5, walked inside and I was immediately met with a smell that made me excited to eat, the entrance and setting 10/10, we sat down and met our waiter, great Irish lad full of suggestions and polite and attentive, ordered from the set menu £24 and value for money! You can say that again, the food was fantastic a really great dining experience, our waiter finished halfway through the meal and was replaced with an waitress who again was polite and attentive. Well done to everyone involved for giving this great location the type of establishment with an amazing dining experience it deserves, I’m already looking forward to coming back.

**UNCOOKED CALAMARI**
Visited on Monday evening for tea and ordered calamari for my starter
It came and when I started to eat it I noticed some of the pieces were a little purple and put them to the edge of my plate.
Once I arrived home I was violently ill until Wednesday!
I never mentioned it to the waiter at the time as I didn’t think I ate any uncooked pieces.
My boyfriend has emailed this over but yet to get a reply back from the restaurant!
Our waiter was lovely and had mentioned the kitchen was short staffed of chefs that day so this may be the reason for uncooked calamari
Steak was great - but won’t be visiting this restaurant again!!

My husband and I visited last night with our two sons. We all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Food was top class. Even our youngest son enjoyed his meal off the Young Diners Menu. Our waitress, Maddy, was lovely. Nothing was too much trouble and she was very chatty and attentive without being ‘over the top’.
I hope the restaurant manages to continue with its high standards. We loved it and will definitely be back!

Visited here for lunch 2 days ago. All staff from desk to table pleasant and welcoming. We saw a table of mum's with 3 prams around it with their very small babies plus families with children. It appeared to be no different to being in any other establishments I've eat in in Liverpool. Food was great as was service too I would definitely recommend and return.

A place I would skip. On the plus side, the prices are reasonable and people liked the steak.
On the negatives:
Confused service. One person ordered a lager and received a soft drink. I ordered a bitter and they brought an IPA by the same Brewer without telling me. When I brought it to their attention, they said it was because they were out of the bitter. You don't do that. You inform the customer and give them the option.
We also had to keep requesting silverware and water. At one point, they took our empty water carafe, but then forgot to return with a refill until asked. They mis-described what they were serving when it was delivered and forgot one salad until they were reminded.
Food. As I said, people liked their steaks, but they were served with a great fried onions ring- like mass (can't describe any other way). We had the fried, salt and pepper calamari starter, which was very greasy. My sweet smoked pork ribs had very little sauce and didn't taste smokey at all.
So, meh.
