Amazing food, ordered sides as was expecting a tiny meal given the low price, but wasnt needed. Very good portions and friendly service.
FYI Stops serving at 6pm on a Sunday.

1st time I've been there in over 30 years and talk about being back in the 80's . it's staff are excellent they knew after 1 beer what I wanted for the next round . Nice clientele and I will be frequenting the hostalry more often as it's closer to where I live than going to Waterloo . I only live near The Litherland/ Priory .

Food really nice when we received it after waiting ova an hour tho I had to go ova to the staff and ask where our food was as other customers came in after us and received there's before us apparently it was because there was no beef left but they should of made us aware the staff were really nice expecially the young lad on the bar and gave us a complimentary drink on the house due to the delay and then we received our food will definitely be going there again and highly recommend

Great old pub. Far too quiet, especially as there is very little competition. I can only put the lack of customers down to the high prices because the staff are really good. Nice pint, give it a go is my advice.

Nice pub I was there for a wake! Staff were really nice the buffet they put out was really good! Not to expensive for drinks & a nice atmosphere!

Was there Sunday before last, there was live music, brilliant by the way, and the night was fantastic! Everyone was having a good night, singing, dancing etc in a very relaxed pub, well worth a visit, especially if there's a band playing.
