Service was great and staff were very friendly, got a few starters sides and mains. The starters were great, the sides were okay, as for the main i got the Halal baby chicken, it was very disappointing and the presentation was disappointing too compared to the rest of the things we ordered. I really would recommend you change the sauce on the baby chicken as its very unpleasant and does not work well as a dish

I did celebrate my birthday there. The food was excellent, the staff's attention was impeccable and very friendly; also, the attention to detail was superb. I appreciated the details. The tables are well spaced and give you some privacy. Apart from that, as we were staying at the hotel, I enjoyed the buffet breakfast, which was great with a lot of variety and service, again, was exceptional.Thank you all!

I just have to say that this place is Extraordinary, the attention was exceptional, the food so delicious, and the best part of the evening was Giorgio, he is so kind, he explained every detail in the menu (because I’m vegetarian) so he was really helpful, and charming, if you come you will be very lucky if he takes care of your table. I really would recommend this place for any occasion.

We wanted to have a quiet but extended Xmas dinner and discovered this place. We had drinks, chips, rosemary potatoes, bread for starters, tart and portobello mushroom for mains and the highlight was my mousse in dessert - absolutely light and airy!
The decor was beautiful and there was even a fireplace were we moved to for dessert and coffee. Just the right kind of attention from staff - overall lovely experience.

Loved this restaurant, visit it every single time I am in London. Didn’t see oyster on the menu this time tho, would love to see it back on sometimes later :) still in love with the contemporary food however. Liked the welcome mulled wine for the Xmas season! Great staffs!! Very friendly and helpful!

Really really good seafood, the octopus was fantastic, and the crab choux was great as well. Relatively small menu though.

I had never heard of this place, until I realised I had some Hyatt points due to expire soon, and started searching for restaurants at Hyatt hotels (of which there are not many in London). We ended up visiting for dinner on a Sunday evening. The restaurant section was pretty much empty throughout the meal, although the adjacent bar/snack area was much busier. The décor was nice, with soft undertones, giving the place a cosy feel. I liked the menu structure, split into distinct snacks, veg, seafood and meat sections with the recommendation to pick a couple of items from each section. The two of us ordered the bread, bubble & squeak, potato croquettes, artichoke, seafood scotch egg, lemon sole, scallops, baby chicken and the lamb. It sounds like a lot of food, and it was, but the portion sizes are quite small and we did finish it all. We also both tried the chocolate hazelnut dessert. The food was excellent! Many different items, but all of them were really well done and professionally presented. It was hard to pick any faults. We had our two young kids with us, and even the stuff we ordered from the kids menu was very good. They do a really nice Old Fashioned as well.
Service was friendly but a bit slow. Our server was also attending to tables at the adjacent bar area. He seemed to be thinly spread and it was difficult to get his attention. That said, the food was delivered at a reasonable pace, especially considering each ‘section’ of the menu was served individually, effectively making it a 5 course meal. The bill (before deducting Hyatt points) came to £285, of which £85 was spent on drinks. This felt a bit excessive, definitely ‘hotel prices’, even though this was not a particularly posh hotel. Although I can’t knock the food, I would have expected far more attentive service, and a more refined atmosphere as well at this price point.
Overall, this was a surprisingly good meal. We came in with average expectations, just trying to use up some points, but ended up enjoying some excellent, Michelin star quality food. Shame about the service and pricing, but I would still consider a second visit.

Very efficient staff and amazing quality food.

It's a good hotel restaurant with nice selection on the menu. The service is usually quite good, but sometimes they get a bit busy in the afternoons and sometimes the service is a bit slow..

A good lunch experience in the Hyatt Regency hotel.

Excellent food, however the open plan style of the restaurant made it feel as though we were sat in the hotel lobby.

Had a delicious, relaxing afternoon tea here. They have live piano playing during the afternoon tea service which really enhances the experience - we had a great time trying to guess what song was being played!
Food was really good overall, though the highlights were definitely the little sweets and the scones which are served warm. Service was attentive and the ambiance is lovely too. Would definitely do tea here again!

Excellent place to dine, definitely recommend this for anyone visiting London especially the desserts. I would recommend the sticky toffee pudding.

Taking inspiration from some of London’s key historical figures and local history; Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill is a hotel just full of stories. The Montagu, the hotel’s more casual restaurant, was built originally as the home of London socialite Elizabeth Montagu and her husband Edward, the grandson of the Earl of Sandwich. Elizabeth Montagu was the ‘Queen of the Blue Stockings’ and would host large literary evenings for the leading politicians, artists and writers of the day as well as nurturing rising intellectuals. Today the space is a gorgeous modern restaurant with a view over Portman Square, a bustling open kitchen and fantastic menu show-casing fresh produce.

Nicely made all day dining at Hyatt Churchill. It is huge and gives a very warm feeling. The servers are a delight. Had breakfast during my stay here. Elaborate menu with some live options as well. Over all without going into the specifics this place 3.5/5.

"Eat Me" and "Drink Me" two of my favourite phrases, but they also appear in the much loved book "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" by Lewis Carroll. . The Hyatt Regency London is celebrating the special occasion with the creation of their very own Mad Hatter's Afternoon tea.

As a consequence of spending a few of my formative years in the Middle East, I’ve probably had more than my fair share of brushes with Americana. Move over village fetes and country lanes, make way for the 7-lane wide highways, the malls (literally everywhere), the Arab-American accents and, of course, the concept of Brunch. It’s not a Brit thing, or at least it didn’t start as one, and so far I’ve not had a brunch in London to match it’s Gulf/American counterpart. Long resigned to never again experience the weight of a hundred little desserts sitting peaceably in ones stomach from an unlimited buffet, my eyes have just recently been opened by the New York Italian Style Saturday Brunch served at The Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill.

Perfect for a romantic dinner!

Location: Marble Arch, Hyatt Regency Hotel.

Price: Around £90 for two people.

Atmosphere: Elegant, Romantic, Business, Fancy.

Food: British Cuisine

.

Review: The Montagu is ideal for a fancy night out in the centre of London. Located in the five-star Hyatt Regency Hotel, you will have the privilege to be served with an amazing service from the team who is here to make sure that you will enjoy every part of your night.

This stylish restaurant lets you choose between a menu "A la carte" or a five-courses menu.
Available until 9:30pm the five- courses menu is really a great discovery where you will be lucky to taste the Smoked salmon, the Fillet of Sea Bass and the famous Chocolate Fondant of the house.
The menu "A la carte” also proposes different treasures where the Prawn Cocktail and the Selection of Ice Creams and Sorbets must be tried.

Today's fancy dinner was at the five-star Hyatt Regency Hotel. The Montagu was certainly fancy from the start - the decor and service both being top notch before we even sat down to look at the menu.

As is the usual, we stuck to the set menu. However as the meat and chicken served there was all halal, we had more than the fish and veggie dishes to choose from. Nevertheless, I stuck to the razor clam and herb soup for my starter, the fish for the main and an apple tart for dessert. The starter was an easy win, adding to my increasingly growing taste for soups, while the dessert was generous. The main was a little dry and although wasn't bad was a little disappointing.

But a good time was had by all, proving once again that a restaurant is about slightly more than just the food. And at around £25 (via TopTable) for the three courses, a mocktail and sides shared between pairs there really wasn't any complaints about value either. Recommended.
