I ordered a beautiful double chocolate salted caramel cake for my boyfriends birthday. I got it delivered on the day, it was quick punctual easy and stress free.
For the piece the resistance: The cake is absolutely incredible, above and beyond my expectations. I ordered a chocolate plaque with happy birthday written on it and it was beautiful. Aesthetically the cake was stunning and exactly how it looked on the website. MOST IMPORTANTLY HOWEVER the cake tasted absolutely stunning. The butter cream is just right; sweet, smooth, chocolatey, but not sickly. The sponge layers were soft, decadent, moist, and sweet (but just the right amount). The caramel sauce is absolutely delightful and added the perfect little extra zing to the cake.

We had cravings for chocolate cake and Cutter & Squidge did not disappoint!! Their cakes are amazing. So tasty, great flavours and deliciously moist. Really big slices as well. Good vegan options here for anyone who might need them, and great coffee too. Liked it a lot.

I had Cutter & Squidge in delivery many times. The cakes delivered are fresh and delicious. The brownies are my favourite. Customer services are always super efficient and helpful. I got an order amended by Theo very quickly and easily. Very happy indeed.

Had an amazing afternoon tea at Cutter & Squidge in The Common Room! The sandwiches and scone which came in a cute spell book were a really nice touch and were delicious. The selection of tea to choose from was great and the buffet items were splendid - everything was delicious, from little baby biskies to trifles and cookies. There were also two cakes to choose from - you could cut your own slice. My only regret was that I couldn’t eat more! The staff was fantastic too and we felt really well looked after. Thank you Cutter & Squidge!

Lovely afternoon tea in The Common Room with friends to celebrate a special birthday. The staff on the day were informative and attentive and the food suited us all - delicious and way more than we could comfortably enjoy! Andrew in the customer service team was especially helpful with my enquiries in advance to give me reassurance that the dietary requirements that we had could be satisfied and our requirements overall could be met. We loved our bottomless Prosecco afternoon tea - thank you!

I recently bought the Passionfruit and Pistachio cake for my husband's birthday and I honestly can't praise Cutter & Squidge enough. I had to get in touch with the customer care team regarding my delivery and Theo was an absolute star with super quick responses.
The cake itself arrived exactly when it was supposed to and was gorgeously packed, it was a delight to open. It looked so beautiful, it was a shame to cut it! The flavour was incredible, lovely soft sponge with the tart passionfruit flavour to balance the sweetness. Absolutely perfect, will definitely use you guys again!

I ordered a vegan cake especially for my son’s birthday and it tasted sooo good. The packaging was simple and secure. Also this is the first time I have tasted a dairy free cake that tastes like a normal cake. The fact that it doesn’t contain sulphites is an added bonus! I would order from them again in the future. Well done on getting it perfectly right 👏

Delicious selection of cakes. Cute interior. Nice staff but slightly chaotic operation - customers need to be moved through the queue quicker. One person spending minutes trying to decide, place their order and pay creates a backlog at an otherwise very pleasant eatery.

I was the lucky recipient of an afternoon tea from this company (see photo) and it was delicious! I was so impressed I ordered a gift for a friend but managed to make a mistake with the order - no problem, Bogdan in customer services sorted it out quickly and everything was back on track. I hope my friend likes her sweet treat as much as I enjoyed mine.

Cutter and Squidge delivered a fantastic wedding cake to us and I couldn’t fault them on anything. Delivery was easy, care instruction were cake, and most importantly cake was delicious. Would very happily use them again

Ordered a birthday cake for family in the UK and then had to change the delivery date. Theo was super helpful and was able to make the change.
Just had a message to say it’s been delivered- right on time. It looks amazing- wish I could be there to try it.

Cutter & Squidge were great to have as our wedding day cake supplier. Any questions we had were answered promptly. Delivery of samples and wedding day cake were prompt. Our cake looked beautiful when displayed and tasted lovely too ;) Thank you!!

Had my birthday cake from here the chocolate hazelnut cake - it was delicious. I don’t usually like chocolate cakes I find them heavy or rich. This one from cutter & squidge was light, moist & not overly sweet - just perfect.
Thank you very much for your great service. I would recommend this place to friends & family.

Excellent Cake, everyone at the birthday party couldn't stop talking about it! I ordered the Triple Choc. The order and delivery service was seamless and was handled amazingly by Theo! I would agree it was on the pricey side but it was worth the smooth end-end service!

I have had a mostly positive view about Cutter and Squidge. I have had high tea here and it was ok. Then, ordered a chocolate vegan cake and it was delicious! A few days later, we had the mango yuzu cake and it was too sweet for our liking. Overall, it's a good place, but a tad bit expensive.

Food - 4.5<br/>Service - 2.5<br/>Ambience - 4.5<br/>We tried the blueberry biskie and we were not disappointed. It captured the flavour of a cheesecake with an added crunch of shortbread in the middle. I really enjoyed the combination of textures and flavours: chewy and crunchy and tart and sweet. The cafe itself is very charming and instagram-worthy with its predominantly white shabby chic-ish interiors.

This place is really pretty. The place got alot of stuff to try. Be it colorful lattes or biskies. Loved the sandwhich of brownie between two cookies.

Pretty cute cookie shop, if not a little random how they do their sandwich cookies. They also had cakes by the slice. The seating was a bit squishy.

I am in love. Words can't explain how much I loved the biskies and the cake! Let's start with the biskies: they are an explosion of flavour in your month and the buttercream is the best frosting yet, and I never liked buttercream! The cake was soft and moist and fluffly and I loved it! Gonna go back for more!

If you are in London you HAVE to try Cutter&Squidge’s famous Biskies™️! So many flavours, to choose from you will end up buying six! C&S also do cakes, shakes, slice and there’s lots and lots of matcha here - which we love, everything is better with matcha. <br/><br/>TIP: Try to get in early as the Biskies™️ tend to sell out fast! 🍪

Consistently excellent cakes (highly recommend their raspberry ripple or chocco berry!), marvelous milkshakes and superb service.<br/>Would use time and time again.

We visited Cutter and Squidge yesterday for the Genie's Cave afternoon tea and unfortunately it was a very disappointing and time consuming experience. From the moment we walked in, we could see the staff serving upstairs lacked basic customer service skills from being ignored in the queue, to being made to wait almost an hour in order to be seated for our reservation, without a single member of staff approaching us to see if we needed anything or to reassure us. It wasn't a great start to what was supposed to be an amazing experience, especially as I was really looking forward to this. The frustrating thing was that it wasn't busy, the ladies serving upstairs were unprofessional, mucking about behind the counter. Groups of people who came in after us were being seen to before us, even though their reservation times were after us. <br/>We were finally approached by one of the girls (I think her name is Abi - who was running back and forth, working downstairs serving the afternoon tea) who was clearly rushed off her feet but still amazing at her job. She noticed that we hadn't been seen to in a while, apologised for the wait and for the miscommunication on behalf of her colleagues. We were taken downstairs immediately by her and instantly made to forget about the whole thing, as she was such an endearing person. The room was very small and tight, as the tables were so close to one another. In order to get to your table, you pretty much disturbed other diners. The only positive was that the decor was lovely. Service unfortunately was extremely slow, as we were given a welcome glass of prosecco but never received our drinks order, the savoury pastries were dry, over-cooked and rock hard. The sandwiches were of poor quality, as they were horrible and tasteless. For the money being spent (£69 for two people) this was definitely not the quality or expectations we had in mind. We hardly ate any of the food and I didn't even finish my prosecco!! I just wanted to leave. The group of ladies sat next to us left about half of their food too. We decided to complain about the lack of service and quality being offered to us, so I decided to speak to our server upstairs, as I didn't want to disturb other diners or create any kind of scene in such a cramped space. I explained all the issues, as she was very sympathetic and grateful with the manner we addressed our dissatisfaction. She spoke to her supervisor, who wasn't interested, she literally looked over her shoulder to look at me, didn't come over to speak to me and told her colleague that we would only be charged £29.50 and offered take away drinks!!! The sheer arrogance infuriated me. At this stage I wanted to get out before I lost my temper, it was an awful experience and I was being made to feel conned. The supervisor couldn't careless in the feedback given to her, she didn't take any responsibility for the poor service provided by her or her staff and we were made to wait again when it came to paying. I think it's appalling and disgraceful that a business like this could get away with this kind of behaviour, especially operating in Soho. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place.

Absolutely beautiful cakes. Great flavours and textures. Probably the best cake I've had in a long time. We ordered the limited edition pistachio and passionfruit cake for my birthday and it was divine. We also had a cheeky slice of cake when collected it. X

The sandwich cookie delights of Cutter & Squidge are a right showstopper. Heads were turned. I was glad I gave it a go and it was tasty enough, but at £3.90 it’s a little outrageously priced. I went with the raspberry s’more which features a vanilla cookie (or should that be two?), raspberry and marshmallow. And everything tastes great. The marshmallow is homemade and a pillowy fluffiness. The touch of toasting brings out the royal marshmallow flavour. The raspberry cream is tasty without being overpowering and the vanilla cookie holds up well enough. So no real complaints other than the price. I liked it enough but not enough to want to buy another in a hurry. The cakes looked awesome, so that’s probably my go to for a return visit.

I’ve always said my friend Ali makes the best carrot cake on this planet. Over the last few months, I keep seeing on Instagram people posting cakes from Cutter & Squidge and claim it has the best carrot cake. I jokingly tagged Ali saying she now has competition and we need to check this place out to judge who does it better.

Cutter and Squidge is the kind of place you enter and instantly feel happier ! The interiors are adorable and cakes look gorgeous. They not look so stunning but are delicious. <br/><br/>The old school classic cakes and a wide array of teas is why it's a personal favourite. <br/>Try the raspberry ripple or chocolate cake with lychee peach or a morrocon mint tea. <br/><br/>If you're having a dull day you know where to head. <br/><br/>Keep Gobbling xxx

Cutter and Squidge is of our favourite haunts in Soho where you can get a lip-smacking portion of ice cream with the choicest toppings. It is a cute little place with lovely service and decor, that just brightens your day when you visit :)
The Sweet Space
Anyone for Biskies? <br/><br/>I've been over to Cutter & Squidge a few times now, they tend not to dissapoint. Since I've started up my new three set posting style I thought it might be a good time to revisit and add them to the list, in the Dessert Dude way.<br/><br/>"Biskies", part cake, part biscuit but still its own thing. Full of substance but still soft. They're good basically. <br/><br/>The Earl Grey kind is one of my faves. Its got that hint of the tea and not overly sweet.<br/><br/>Another good choice is always the pistachio rose with its rose jam being full of flavour and super fragrant. <br/><br/>There are many flavours to try and for many different palates, so you're sure to find something that gets your taste buds flowing.
Yummy Jubbly
At Yummy Jubbly, we like desserts. There’s no doubt about that. Especially now that Cutter & Squidge has got a Hello Kitty theme going on! Famous for its biskies, you can eat their cakes guilt free<br/><br/>As we’ve been able to find a cake shop, that has half the amount of sugar and fat content compared to other places. That’s what the staff told us anyway and there’s no reason to not believe her!

Oh my sweet tooth – or rather, my 32 sweet teeth! They were in for quite the sugar high earlier today over afternoon tea at Cutter and Squidge, the Soho-based bakery that’s home to the biskie among other treats…. If you’re ever passing down Brewer Street, there’s a slim chance you’ll miss this cheerful café with its enticing displays of dream cakes (decadently layered sponge cakes) and signature biskies – an exquisite mix of biscuit, cookie and cake, these pretty little hybrids sandwich all imaginable fillings from caramels to homemade jams.<br/>Both are included in the recently introduced afternoon tea offering alongside a smattering of teatime goodies, all of which are brought out in bamboo steamers – a subtle nod to the fact that C&S use all-natural ingredients, free from artificial colouring, flavouring and preservatives.
Got To Be Gourmet
Last week I discovered the ‘biskie’. You run the risk of sounding like a toddler trying to pronounce ‘biscuit’ when saying it, but this is actually a delicious hybrid of biscuit, cake and cookie, filled with light buttercream! It’s the brainchild of sisters Annabel and Emily Lui who started out selling them at Partidge’s food market in 2013 under the name ‘Cutter and Squidge’, and after successful commissions for Selfridges and Harrods, ending up taking full time residence at a shop/cafe in the heart of Soho.

Cake and biskies are so yummy, I could not get enough of them. But you should definitely avoid milkshakes, not cold enough especially the chocolate one, it tastes like hot chocolate. Very disappointing. <br/><br/>But I am crazy for biskies. You have an option to buy 4 or 8 in a pack, so go for 4 of them:)

Seems a bit rude to call the unique beauties from cutter and squidge biscuits. They certainly ain't no hob knob that's for sure! Cutter and squidge make

I went to this bakery as part of my cake crawl and on first impression after entering the bakery, the word that came to mind was: quirky. <br/>It had a very cute feel and the staff there was very nice and accommodating, not rushing us as we decided between what flavor of cake to get. <br/>The cakes they have on display have several layers and are all flavors very different from one another. We eventually decided to get slices of the Autumn Spice cake, the Key Lime cake and a Chocolate and Pistachio cake. <br/>The bakery takes pride in using all natural ingredients in all aspects of its cooking, down to the coloring of the icing. So for example their frosting is made purple by beets. I loved that concept and believe many people would respect that about them. <br/>Now onto the flavor of the cakes. Off the bat, they all tasted amazing. The cake sponge was moist and the icing sweet. What I'd like to add, and what I believe is why everyone should visit this bakery, is the balance of flavors the cakes had. I know we've all had the problem where the icing overpowered the cake or the icing had no flavor, or even the ratio of cake to icing being way off. Not here. The balance of icing to cake was perfect. And that's saying a lot. Plus, the sweetness of the icing balanced the flavors of the cakes and did not overpower them. Especially the Chocolate and Pistachio cake where the chocolate cake was made with dark chocolate and it's lack of sweetness was balanced by the sweet pistachio frosting. Same goes for the Autumn Spice cake where the cream cheese frosting could be tasted but did not overpower the cake (a problem I've faced countless times). <br/>The technicality was absolutely impressive. <br/>Overall, I'd say if you want to taste a true slice of cake, go to this place.
Boozy Bunch
Being in possession of Malaysian DNA, I usually err on the side of savoury over sweet if given a choice. However, occasionally, something comes along which makes me disregard my natural instincts. Cutter & Squidge used to have a brick and mortar pop up further down Brewer Street in Soho but they have just opened their permanent brick and mortar at this location opposite one of my favourite Italian delis, Lina stores.

I was in soho after having been to the theatre and was instantly enticed by the treats the the window. The store was so nicely finished - a sparkling haven in the centre of soho! The staff were super friendly and helped me choose a box of four biskies (their special cookie/cake) and was really pleasantly surprised... I didn't think £12.90 was too expensive really, especially when you compare it to other cake shops, and they were a bit more special because no one else makes them. I chose the salted caramel brownie one and it was so yummy! My family enjoyed the other ones I chose (although I can't tell you how they tasted because they were consumed so rapidly) :P<br/>I hope they do well!

Read about this place in time out, it totally lived up to the great review ! Loved the chocoberry cake, was a light chocolate cake and fluffy berry buttercream... Could have had another piece! <br/><br/>The earl grey biskie was amazing. Kinda chewy crunchy and soft all at the same time! Yum! <br/><br/>Taking my friends next week.
