Beautiful food and authentic Italian hospitality! We enjoy that so much and keep reorder various type of pasta and risotto! They are very thoughtful in their service as well! Love it!

Very good food and service. The Bolognese was pretty good and the cheesecake was delicious. Fungi risotto was OK, but not as good as the other 2 dishes.

First visit. Very pleasant. The risotto could have been a little wetter, if you know what I mean, but it was nice none the less. THIS RESTAURANT IS NOW PERMANENTLY CLOSED AS OF LOCKDOWN MARCH 2020

I discovered this restaurant thanks to a friend's recommendation and I was not disappointed: here you can find a true Italian taste! We tried squid-ink tagliolini with vongole (clams), squid-ink tagliolini "allo scoglio" (mixed seafood) and "risotto alla zucca" (pumpkin risotto), and everything was delicious. The staff is nice and friendly. And I had a good espresso as well! :)

Very nice food. Super helpful staff. Had a great dinner experience.

The best Italian food I’ve ever had. The meals are delicious and portions perfect. Good service. Everything I had I loved, especially their homemade pasta.
I highly recommend this.
Some people complain about the price, but coming from the US, these plates would cost £22 instead of about £15. So I can’t complain. I enjoyed my meals (we ate here two times in a row), and i was able to make great conversation with a regular next to me. Definitely would come back next time I come to London.

Cozy, close quarters, and delicious food. The wine list isn't extensive, but has decent selections. Can get busy, so try to plan accordingly. The food tastes very fresh and is relatively well priced for that and the portion sizes. I would recommend this restaurant to friends.

Great Italian restaurant by the V&A! Good service, delicious food, nice vibe!

Lovely friendly staff, fabulous anti pasti. We were a large group, so main course wasn't so good, a couple of us had to send it back. But they were so nice took off bill and offered free cheese and biscuits. I will definitely return as customer service was good, and anti pasti was meal in itself.

Lovely restaurant! We arrived a few minutes before opening time on the hottest day on record and were let into the air conditioned bliss by the charming head waitress when she spotted us melting outside.... The food was marvellous (obviously prepared on the premises) and the home-made ice cream was simply delicious!
This will be the only restaurant I will go to when I’m visiting the V&A from now on!

I had the home made “ricotta gnocchi” with home made tomato sauce and mozzarella. It was delicious! The tiramisu was also very good. Standard London prices for excellent food. I’m certainly going to come back.

My granddaughter & I popped into Orsinis for lunch after our trip to the V & A. We were greeted by one of the waiters with a cheery greeting and a welcoming smile. The service was friendly and professional, even when my granddaughter changed her mind about a coke, it had already been poured, and decided to join me in a glass of wine, that was no problem. Lastly, the food was great! Definitely be visiting again.

Beautiful hand made pasta, sauces and desserts. Scrumptious starters. Just great Italian cooking and a wonderful friendly owner. Homely feel with exceptional food - definitely returning!

We popped in on recommendation. Everything was delicious. 3 different mains and we all tried and liked each other's. The tiramisu and a light fluffy lemon cake, down to the coffee. Food: fantastic. Staff: fantastic.

Had a wonderful meal with family. Great homemade pasta, great wine, fabulous dessert with great service from our charming host. Very reasonably priced. Do yourself a favor and go!

Extremely unprofessional and disrespectful waitress and manager! Ordered calamari, courgette fries and seafood squid ink tomato pasta. The waitress explained that the seafood includes calamari, clams, mussels and prawns. We okay-ed it. First time the pasta arrived, it looks really good, presentation was perfect and expected from a relatively high-end restaurant but I wonder why there is no calamari at all. So I asked the waitress and the manager came to our table and said that usually they have calamari and that they are going to check with the chef. After a few minutes, he came back and said that the chef forgot to put the calamari and that they are going to deduct some price off. I did not agree because we are expecting calamari with the rest of the seafood, so I asked if it is possible to get a new one - we have not eaten anything from the plate anyway. The manager appeared really annoyed but took our plates away.

After waiting for about another 7 minutes, our order came for the second time. I have wondered why it only took them 7 minutes to cook. This time it came with a complete set of seafood but the presentation was literally like trash. The meant to be tomato sauce is not tomato at all, the colour of the sauce is like pasta water. It was SO different than the first one. There were only 3 small pieces of calamari, 3 of the clams were empty and 2 of the mussles were empty too. The worst part is that the pasta is SO HARD!! I know what al dante is like and that was not al dante at all!

After 4 minutes of trying to decide whether or not I should complain again, I decided to complain because I am NOT paying £16.50 for a trashy pasta like that. I decided I am not going to ask them to cook a new one or anything but I’m gonna pay the bill and that’s it. The waitress brought the pasta down and said that she will hve to speak to the manager. The manager came up but DID NOT say a word, did not apologise or anything. It was an utterly disgusting behaviour from a manager to a customer.

The bill came and yet again none of the staff, including the manager who took my payment, apologised or anything. The very least was to apologise for the mistakes, but it seems like they did not realise and accept the mistakes they made. Very IRRESPONSIBLE staff, especially the guy who held the manager position!

Oh well, NEVER coming back and WILL NOT recommend to anyone who is thinking to dine there.

Had the tomato gnocchi, a tomato tagliatelle, a spinach side dish, and a chicken dish - all delicious and bursting with flavour. The kitchen kindly accommodated our request to have less salt on the chicken and the spinach, and even so they were delicious. While service was a bit iffy and slow since we were upstairs, and the portions were on the smaller side, I feel like the taste of the meal and the springiness and freshness of the homemade pasta more than made up for any inconvenience.

Tried this resto given the reviews on Zomato and I have to say I was quite underwhelmed to say the least. Service was friendly but slow and the food quality was just acceptable which was disappointing given the price. Had the pumpkin risotto which was not bad but the chicken with mushroom was on the bland side. Had a spoonful on the pesto pasta and that also was on the bland side for me.

I’ve written about Orsini Ristorante before and it’s been a family favourite for a number of years since my friend Rona introduced me to it. With its location opposite the Victoria & Albert Museum in South Kensington, it’s a perfect location for a trip to the museums (the Natural History and the Science Museum are also close by) or Knighsbridge, where we were heading today to stock up on coffee pods at the Nespresso shop. You can park for free on Sundays around South Kensington, which not only saves a lot of money but also means you don’t have to keep an eye on the time.

A fine place to eat in terms of preparation, however, a lot of work needs to be done in terms of the eating atmosphere. The quality of the food is decent and is recommended for a quick lunch. Not the best ambience and infrastructure but for these prices, I am not complaining!
Fantastic, family run Italian restaurant. Food is outstanding!

Delicioso!. We discovered Orsini's on a brief trip to London last summer. The food was so good that we came back the next evening.

Orsini's is a small family-owned restaurant with wonderful food made with lots of creativity and passion. The staff is warm and welcoming. So, what's not to love about the place?

Nice place!. Food and service were great. I wasn't digging the cheese plate but really wanted some mozzerella, and they made me a huge plate of it. Had the lasagna and it was delicvious at a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend for a quick lunch.

Amazing food, lovely waiters, great ambience, and good value for money. Would make it a weekly stop!

Good but plenty of extras on the bill.. I had the veal with new potatoes and it was very reminiscent of my time in Amalfi on the South Coast of Italy. The service is warm and friendly, the only downside is the pricing, while typical of London it's still a little steep, various non-descript items on the bill padded it to £25 which seemed a lot for a main course, a piece of cake to take away and glass of house red.

I was first introduced to Orsini by my friend Rona a few years ago. I guess we were going to an exhibition at the V&A, though what I remember more clearly is the food afterwards! Since then I’ve popped into Orsini a number of times, but always for a snack – perhaps a bowl of soup – around lunchtime. I like its informality and the freshness of its cooking. Here you will find authentic Italian food. Well, Nicola and Rachael came back saying they’d had a wonderful meal there last Friday evening and so I thought I really must go again myself. And that fitted perfectly with my plan to meet my Italian friend Lucia in South Kensington for a drink and food late yesterday afternoon before going into the V&A at 7.00pm to see the Constable exhibition. Now taking an Italian into an Italian restaurant is a little risky for, as I’ve said before, the Italians are very particular about their food and very knowledgeable and what you think is authentic might well not meet their high standards. But on the other hand, I did want to know what Lucia thought of Orsini. In fact she didn’t want to eat much as she’d had a large lunch, so she settled for just cake, while I was hungry and r

I have been to orsini on multiple occasions though my most recent visit was about a week ago.

I ordered a cup of cappuccino, tiramisu and a slice of the chocolate cake with Ice cream. The tiramisu was very good it was cold fluffy and had a nice coffee liqueur taste, the cake was a little stodgy it was a bit heavy and dense.

I would go again for a cup of coffee and tiramisu, if u do go have the tiramisu for sure.
