Went for the Italian lunch. Rather nice interior. The food was nothing special but portions were rather large. The staff were rather attentive to adapting to our needs.

Amazing place to dine, nice location, and beautifully decorated. The live roses on each table uplifting and make you feel soecial :-) , .......but a bit too noisy and busy ..very difficult to talk to people around the table . We went for Italian menus.... very well presented. Would definitely recommend

The customer service was better than expected. The vibe inside was not as good as expected. The food however was good. Nice texture for the tiramisu dessert. The calamari was just okay, fried rice was cooked well. The honey and lime chicken was the highlight of my evening paired with a glass of homemade sake.

I have been to both Asian and Italian restaurant of Novikov. Service is always on point, love the atmosphere and decorations here. Food was nice but expected more than that. But still highly recommend

One of the most amazing dinners I have had in London so far. Chef Luca is exceptional, combination of flavours make you dream, freshness of ingredients is notable in every dish. Professional and attentive service, vibrant atmosphere. Looking forward to coming back and also trying Italian side of the venue!

The food was delicious, great portions and great service. You definitely get what you pay for. I would recommend visiting this restaurant if you desire quality Italian.
Zoltán “Zoli”
Lovely restaurant to visit, both the Asian and Italian in Mayfair London.
My favourite is the Italian with excellent service and the food is always taste great, well prepared and cooked. The Asian second as the taste of the dishes changes sometimes.
Highly recommend both the Novikov Asian and Italian for a late night dinner or for a lunch.

Food is just amazing. I loved everything and you will do the same especially if you don’t have to pay the bill ;)

Heard good things. Novikov been on my list for ages.
Firstly £80 min spend per person
I was expecting to be wowed. I wasn’t.
Took ages for someone to come take our order.
Waygu tacos. So bland. Needs an oomph! What was worth £22 for 2 tacos. I’m not sure? . Overall the food is tasty. Loved the rock shrimp. Dim sum was melt in the mouth. My tiramisu was light. And yummy.
The only thing about Novikov is Mayfair.
I don’t love it. But I don’t hate it. Staff friendly and service was great. Because it’s so busy u don’t get much attention. No one came to ask us if we were ok and for that we chose to remove our service charge. We wasn’t bowled over. !!

Food was amazing and so was the service. Would mention that the side options can be shared between two people. The fried cod was the stand out honestly would just go again for that alone.

I was greeted and shown to our table quickly when we entered the restaurant. There was a nice vibe in there. The waiters were pleasant and knew the menu well. We ordered and didn't have to wait long to be served. The quality and presentation was fantastic. The food tasted great and we really enjoyed our meal. The only criticism would be that it was a little overpriced even if it is Mayfair. However, I would return.

Highly recommended. We opted for the italian side and everything was superb: the food is excellent, the service is absolutely great, the personnel is making sure all the time that you are enjoying the experience, and lastly but not least the decor and atmosphere is just everything you need for a perfect chill evening. I will definitely come back to try the asian side. 😊😇

Amazing each and every time I go! We were served by Rio who is a fantastic waiter, really engaging, charismatic and has a great sense of humour.
The food itself was awesome, especially the Wagyu Steak and the Dim Sum!!

Wonderful experience here! The service was wonderful and accommodating. They did a small happy birthday with sparklers and accommodating dessert for my husband. The alcohol beverages were delicious alongside with the food. The environment and atmosphere was a vibe and uplifting. We sat at the Italian side, hopefully next time will get to try the sushi part! Would recommend to friends and family.

Truly a high class experience. One mishap, while booking a reservations online I did not see there are bookings for Italian and Asian kitchens but you can order certain items from the other menu such as oysters. Very well trained waitstaff and service. Appropriately timed dishes. You do not feel rushed. You get your moneys worth. The drinks were very delicious. Reservations I would say are required. The limited time only cigar dessert was phenomenal as well as the presentation. The Greek salad could have used more ‘oomph’ like onions and cucumbers.

The atmosphere and service are what you would expect from Novikov! I had a really nice time whilst celebrating my anniversary, and they surprised me and my husband with a dessert stating Happy Anniversary!
Highly recommend visiting

Good food isn't everything. The pasta was cooked to perfection and the tiramisu was one of the best that I ever had. The big problem here was the staff. This a very "exclusive" restaurant, so if they see you walking in with backpacks and not dressed up to par they won't be very happy. Every interaction made with the staff members made me feel uncomfortable and like I didn't deserve to be eating there. I guess you need to have a high social status or be an Arab millionaire (no offense) to be treated nicely. For example, one of the staff members made a funny look and laughed by knowing we wouldn't be getting any starters. Even though the food was delicious the ambient is very snob like and you can probably find places in town where you'll pay less, have a good meal and be treated nicely by the staff.
Foodie Trails
Decent 'modern' Indian food but the highlight for us was the service. We were well looked after by the friendly staff the moment we stepped into the restaurant. Not to mention dining in a library was a special experience. The space was large and it didn't felt crammed or noisy despite it being a full house. Makes a delightful meal!

Amazing place in London. I love the food. can’t wait to come back here again. Congratulations to the staff.

My second favourite italian restaurant in London!
Fancy and nice for before going out as it has nice music and a bar in downstairs..
Nice waiters and awesome food!!

The Best 🙌🏻 If you want a good restaurant in London this one is one of them. In my opinion the bests mains are the lobster fettuccine and the mushroom risotto 🤩
La Femme Gourmande🐝
One of the best italian restaurant in London. I love restaurants with white table clothes and beautiful design and comfortable in the same time. Nothing beats the atmosphere there. The menu offers classic italian dishes cooked excellent. Always i’ m ordering truffle pasta - truly delicious. The wine list has very good options.

We heard about this place from a friend, had booked in advance and luckily found a reservation.
This super expensive and popular restaurant in Mayfair is home to Asian and Italian food.
You are bound to find someone you know here.

We were 4 adults and 2 children. Upon arrival we got seated instantly and found on the menu that there is a minimum billing of 50 pound per person , we asked if this will apply to children and initially a Server said yes but when our friends reached they requested the manger and he agreed. We were charged minimum billing for 4 adults.

Coming to food and service - everything we got was great except the pasta.

The bread basket is great , what’s better is the sauces they give with it. Simply smashing!

We got
1. Truffle pizza - 3.5/5 expected thin crust but was a little soggy . Great favours though.
2. Mushroom risotto- 4/5
3. Penne pasta - 3/5 /5 worst dish just of the evening. Expected much better , than this.
4. Desserts 5/5 - amazing tiramisu, and molten chocolate cake
5. Wine collection is amazing.

I guess the Asian food is perhaps better.

Will recommend a try to every but be ready to spend some serious $$$.

Happy dining.

Been here last night for my first time in novikov italian part , ive been in asian before..we ordered pumpkin soup, seasonal salad and salmon tartar for starter...spaghetti and oven baked chiken for mains alongside with red wine bottle for my hus and I. The service was good and staff were quick and informative..the food I'd say above average but next time in london I'll definitely go back to asian part..

One of the best places I have visited. I felt like it was summer in Italy again when trying the arrabiata. It is honestly to die for. I can not fault anything on my whole dining experience, food was spectacular and service was immaculate.

Londra ziyaretim sırasında uğradığım restaurant'lardan biri.Öncelikle çok şık bir mekan.Rezervasyon yaptırmanız gerekiyor özellikle haftasonu.İçerideki ortam oldukça elegant.Size kendinizi iyi hissettiriyor.Servis oldukça başarılı.İtalyan bölümünde çalışanlar da italyandı.Bizim türkler gibi cana yakın ve samimiler.Yemekler de gayet başarılı.İki kişi otalama 150-200 gbp civarı ödeme yapıyorsunuz.Ama tatlı başlangıç vs dahil.Yemek sonrası alt kattaki lounge'a mutlaka uğrayın.Hatta uğramadan çıkmayın😉👍

Since I had been craving a decent Italian meal for a few weeks, Novikov, was the restaurant of choice, and it was certainly the best choice of dining options in a very long time.

Greeted at the door by the lovely door man, with a smile and a friendly exchange, set the tone of the evening straight away. Having dined at most of the top london restaurant establishments, a certain level of service is expected, and Novikov is second to non, filling me with excitement from the 'get go' for the evening ahead.

Once though the door you are yet again greeted by, not only more friendly, yet highly professional staff, but the amazing aromas of the fabulous and fresh food cooking throughout the venue.

Novikov is split into three sections, being, the Italian restaurant, the lounge bar and club, and the Asian restaurant. The decor in the lobby is spacious, with a sleek finish which compliments the venues character.

Once escorted to the Italian restaurants reception desk, my reservation was quickly found, and I was then shown to my table. One of the three waiting staff that would be serving me for the evening made a speedy approach to again greet me, and to enquire as to wether I would like a drink whilst I waited, to which I of course replied "espresso martini please".

The first impressions of the restaurants decor, is that it's light, airy, with a traditional charm. The fresh produce on my far left reminded me of walks I had been on through picturesque Italian food markets, adding further to the authentic yet opulent style of the venue. The background music was at an enjoyable volume of being able to hear it but without being intrusive. The lighting however at the start of the early evening was a little too bright, which was slowly dimmed down as the evening progressed, being far more agreeable.

The menu was vast, you are spoilt for choice with an array of starters, pasta dishes, mains and sides, which may I add, is never a bad thing. I would also like to state that the portion sizes are on the large size and perfect for sharing.

For starters, the Scottish Salmon tartar, with yogurt dressing, pomegranate and quail eggs. Alongside the Burrata with datterino tomatoes and olive oil. Both of these were wonderfully put together dishes tasting fresh and delicious, without being overpowering or heavy, together, making a lovely combination.

Next up, and notably one of my favourite dishes, not just from Novikov, but any where I have dined, the wood oven pizza with black truffle, fior di latte and soft cheeses. It was packed with truffle, the cheese was creamy and melt in the mouth, the base thin, and crispy and again everything tasting fresh. My love of a good take away pizza has now been ruined, thanks to Novikov's amazing creation and I have been craving it ever since my last visit. *sighs*

Mains were the Scottish Lamb cutlets with new season tomatoes and mint sauce, and the Beef fillet tagliata with rocket, parmesan and Worcester dressing. Both of which again were enhanced by the carefully selected ingredient's, creating amazing delicate flavours, cooked to absolute perfection and to the requested order. (medium rare for the beef, the way it should be, don't fight me on this)

Sides consisted of, mash potato, the rosemary roast potatoes and seasonal vegetables. The stand out side was the roast potatoes, which were perfectly seasoned.

To finish, I had the Mango and passion fruit Pannacotta, with fresh fruit, which again tasted delicious, creamy and sweet, and the fresh berries were ripe and moreish. Pannacotta has long been one of my favourite desserts and Novikov, again, surpassed itself. They also brought out a complimentary small plate of mini sweet treats, which was a lovely end to the meal.

Minor cons to the evening; the wine glasses were left on the table for a long time into the meal even though a bottle of champagne was being consumed, subtle hints were needed to have them removed, and the basket of bread was forgotten needing a gentle reminder to one of the waiting staff to have it delivered to the table. As previously stated though, these are very minor cons to an evening full of pros.

Final thoughts on Novikov; it's a very expensive experience, but that is reflected in their excellence and completely justified. My advice would be, save up for a special occasion and enjoy a few of the tasty meals that they have to offer.

Great and upscale venue. Quite the contemporary one. Great music and fantastic service. I can't complain about the food however I won't WoW it as well. Still had a good dinner at the end of the night.

Was around the area so I decided to pop into Novikov for a late lunch. I have been to the Asian Room and the experience was not really memorable, so I opted to try out the Italian Room this time. I was amazed by the setting and decor, the place has a really lavish, welcoming Italian feel to it- this comes in stark contrast to the dark interior of the Asian room. The food was good, we ordered the beef carpaccio, eggplant parmigiana and the crab linguine. The service was excellent as expected. I also appreciated that not only were there a lot of options to choose from- they also had halal dishes on the menu (bonus points!). Will probably be back again.

One of my favourite places to dine in London. It has a special atmosphere especially for celebrating. Pricey but well worth it! The fish is so fresh and the staff are so friendly. Always vibrant , it's a treat to come here.

An old friend of mine who used to live in London recommended this restaurant for us, so hubby and I decided to give it a try. We came to Novikov for lunch. We arrived at around 1 pm. The place is divided into 2 rooms, Asian room and Italian room. We were suggested (by my friend) to try the Italian room coz the place is so beautiful, just like in an Italian garden.

And she was right! The moment we stepped into the Italian room, we were so amazed by the place! It is definitely so pretty, the lighting, the decorations, everything is just perfect. And the service is also very nice. All the staffs are so polite and serve quickly.

For the food, we ordered the lunch menu (we opted for the 3 courses menu that costs us £ 25.- per pax.

Hubby ordered : salmon tartar set for appetizer (7/10), tagliatelle bollognaise (9/10), and baby chicken set (8.5/10)

I ordered : goat's ham with caperberrys (7.5/10) potatoes gnocchi (9/10) and salmon set (10/10)

I also ordered 1 mocktail called dragon something *sorry I totally forgot the name 😅 (9/10), it's totally refreshing.

Needless to say, the lunch we had at Novikov was the best and most memorable lunch that we had during my 8 days visit in London 😍😍 I strongly recommend this restaurant for couples because the place is also romantic 😍😍. Novikov also has private rooms for bigger groups.

I will definitely come back to Novikov again the next time I visit London, such a lovely and beautiful place 😊😊

Exepensive, but tasty and amazing food, the variety of the offers all of them had quality, it was enjoy full! The cocktails are also amazing virgin and the normal ones! 5 stars!
Recommend to go there as many times as possible!
End Of The Fork
To find Novikov on Berkeley Street, just look for the rather impressive line of luxury and supercars parked outside. Popular with tourists, alot of the Mayfair crowd, celebs, and usually very busy; you do need fairly deep pockets to spend an evening here. Inside, are two restaurants, the pan-Asian and Italian, while downstairs is the Bar Lounge where you can order food from both restaurants.
End Of The Fork
The menu offers ‘regional Italian dishes with a contemporary twist’. The buffalo Mozzarella from Campana (served with very sweet datterini tomatoes and basil) was fresh, soft and delicious; and the fried Calamari was crisp with a good tartar sauce. The tagliatelle alla Bolognese was good but rather overpriced at £17, and the not terribly tender lamb chops were disappointing. The grilled baby chicken (with Salmoriglio sauce) was nicely browned on the outside and juicy inside; but the sauce was mostly oil so you need to use all of it to get the flavour. The chocolate fondant with vanilla ice cream was delicious and I do recommend ordering this.
It is better to book in advance, and you will be told that each seating is for 2 hours. To book for larger groups, you will have to give card details when booking.
The Food Connoisseur
Novikov is that Russian name with an Asian and Italian restaurant under one roof. Located in Mayfair the spacious venue splits into two restaurants. Novikov invited me down to an Italian master class for over 4 hours preparing our food for the meal. The Italian restaurant has a modern feel, beautiful wall panelling, chandeliers, gives a great ambience. The open kitchen is fantastic to watch the chef cook food, and the fresh colourful ingredients make a great addition to the vibe.

As I mentioned in my monthly round up for the past two months I’ve been following a healthy diet and exercise regime…but a couple of days before we left for St Lucia I thought that’s it…I’ve had enough of being healthy and I sent Mr S a text. ‘Do you fancy going out for dinner tonight?’
Noha.elbadawy
I have NEVER in my life experienced such appalling customer service. After spending hundreds of pounds, I was asked to leave by the manager because I've 'finished my 2 hour allotment and I must show flexibility.' I will never go to this restaurant again and I am disgusted by how incredibly offensive the staff treat customers. Horrendous experience, the management should truly be ashamed and embarrassed.

Probably the best restaurant in London overall. Amazing food, interior and atmosphere. Always busy. Expensive, but u get what you pay for. Exceptional food and service. Has a bar downstairs as well which is always busy. Probably the best restaurant in London overall. Hasn't got best reviews because people are jealous that everyone who goes there is rich, beautiful or both

Hem asya hem de italyan bölümü olan oldukça elit bir restaurant. Ayrıca en alt katında ki lounge bölümü de yemek sonrası uğranılabilecek çok şık bir mekan...

I have always wanted to go to this place, I didn't know they done Italian food which is one of my favourite cuisines, the food was okay and the staff was very rude however the atmosphere and the interior of this place was amazing, deffo worth the visit

Went here since it was my Mom's last day in London before heading back home.
Ambience - The place is busy! Waiters zipping around with trays that seem so precarious. At one point, I was afraid they'd drop something on my head. The music is loud but so is the place which means you can hardly hear the background songs. Maybe you will recognise a strain of your favourite popular song though. The Italian Room is one floor below and is in a large hall with multiple tables. Well lit with candles and yellow ambient light.
Food - The food is excellent. The Tiramisu was just outstanding. Highly recommended.
Drinks - The wine, cocktail and the old fashioned were well made.
There's also a lounge and bar one level below which was buzzing. Great for a Friday night. Will go back.

I found Novikov to be quite standard, the room looked fancy but the food wasn't anything amazing. Yes they had some new pasta dishes that I hadn't seen elsewhere and a great selection of cheeses but nothing stood out for me. Time to try the Asian room upstairs!

Located in the heart of Mayfair, Novikov is prolific restaurateur Arkady Novikov 's first foray into the London restaurant scene. This spacious venue houses a lounge, an Italian restaurant and an Asian restaurant set in different rooms and both offering different menus. The interiors are designed to ultimate perfection and the high quality and presentation of the decor reflect the high end status that Novikov have.

Service rubbish. Just eaten in the Noverkov ....ask for a break between courses totally ignored.....ask for mint sauce with my lamb cutlets totally ignored. Spent over £300 in 1 hour must be the worst restaurant in London.
Fat Belly Budda
Booked this before reading the reviews, most of which from last year focussed on the surly staff, meat head body guards, expense and relatively average food. So when 9 of us turned up (had to pay £250 non refundable deposit), we were prepared for the worst. However only thing that was accurate was the truly extortionate pricing (food and drink) and quite average dishes in terms of quality and presentation... So much so, not even worth mentioning. Very large place, surprisingly busy (nice buzz) but no idea why. Lots of mature couples with oldish kids who didn't want to be there...bit odd. Been there done it...

Good food but Too expensive for Asian cuisine!. I went to Novikov (asian side) with my friends. We were four of us and order bottle of white wine and water,7 starters, one rice, 3 mains ,two desserts to share. It costs £330!!!! (£82.50 per head) .

The restaurant has nice ambience with nice glass wall to Kichen.

The food is good, It's more like moden Chinese and Japanese.

The service was quite quick, cause Lots of staffs, perhaps too many! So I think this restaurant is good to use for business dinner or Lunch. Anyway, This restaurant is too pricey for going out with frineds. It's not worth it. I wouldn't go there at least someone is buying for me the dinner.
Glutopia
A new addition to the Mayfair dining scene, Novikov is a vast restaurant on Berkley Street which encompasses two restaurants and a bar. (It really is big). The place has gone for a two birds with one stone theme – there’s an Asian and an Italian restaurant, and a bar too where you can have a drink whilst pondering which sort of cuisine you fancy. The Asian restaurant serves food from all over Asia; sushi, sashimi, dim sum, the works. They’ve got everything covered. For me the decision wasn’t a tricky one – Asian wins hands down. So off I trotted to try it out…
HungryBee Maija
Novikov was the first restaurant I ever reviewed, when I started doing my food reviews a year and a half ago. At that point though I was not taking any pictures and also the reviews were a few lines short, so I thought I should do another, better review. When I first went to Novikov I gave it MMM, but after visiting it this time I think the food has truly improved and is good, and if before it would not be one of the obvious places to go to for me, then now it is. Novikov opened at the end of 2011 on Berkeley street, in front of Nobu, and it was the first restaurant that Mr Arkady Novikov (who owns over 60 restaurants in Moscow) opened outside of Moscow. Novikov is your one stop destination during an evening, as it has a great bar downstairs on the ground floor (very dark and opulent with nice furniture, very Russian style) where you can go before
Gavin De Costa
The unusual thing is that Novikov is actually 2 restaurants in 1; a Chinese and Pan Asian on the ground floor; and a classic Italian on the floor below. I’ve chosen to dine in the Asian restaurant and can’t wait.
Inher30s
Novikov is the eponymous expansion of Arkady Novikov’s 50-strong Moscow restaurant empire into London and onto the streets of Mayfair. And why forge an empire with a restaurant focussing single-mindedly on just one cuisine, when you can exercise bold Russian authority and get two for the price of one. Novikov caters to two flavours, an Asian restaurant located on the ground level and there’s also an Italian restaurant tucked away a level below, between the glittering bar and the Asian restaurant.
Glutopia
The Verdict: I loved it. I really did. I was hesitant. I wondered if it’d be more style than substance. The Guardian certainly thought so. But the food is amazing, the service is faultless and the atmosphere is great. There’s just one small problem… it ain’t cheap. Our bill came to over £200 *gasp* *shock* *horror*. But if you’re rich or it’s your birthday give it a try.
SimplyMe
Overall, the restaurant was opened only for 1 week; therefore, probably the service is not yet polished and lacks organisation and coordination.
London-Unattached
Despite a couple of years of hard core dining out in London there still seems to be an endless stream of places where I haven’t visited. While an invite to try aperitivo is never going to be a full review, it is a great way to get something of the flavour of a place. So I was very pleased to be invited to Novikov on that basis. According to the Novikov website, Arkady Novikov is Russia’s most famous and successful restauranteur, with more than 50 restaurants throughout Moscow. And, Novikov in Mayfair is somewhere that in my head at least I had positioned as somewhere for the super-rich. There are immaculately clad but sturdy looking bouncers on the door and smoked glass windows so you can’t actually see inside. It’s just a little bit intimidating – and somewhere I really would have hesitated to try for dinner for fear of an eye-watering bill. Inside though, it’s a lot more relaxed and downstairs there’s a positively cosy bar and lounge area. In my limited experience in Italy,
Fork My Knife
Pasta, was less impressive. My spaghetti with garlic and olive oil became cloggy within minutes and needed something to lift it into a more flavourful place. The Boyfriend, as deeply unimpressed with his Pappardelle with Rabbit Ragu, in which the Ragu seemed to be missing and the rabbit had taken on a chicken like look and flavour rather than the slow cooked beef The Boyfriend had expected.
Theskinnybib
King Crab with Penang Sauce (£26) was the delight of the meal. Puffy and meaty king crab was sauteed in a starchy sauce with onions and shoots. That said, this tasted positively Chinese and I still can’t make out what’s “Penang” about it.
Thecriticalcouple
Even before you eat at Novikov's restaurant, the swagger alone is enough to make you feel nauseous. The website says that his restaurants cater to 'a clientèle that includes everyone from Vladamir Putin and Bill Clinton through to Naomi Campbell'; well, it doesn't get more inclusive than that now does it So, err, we have Putin, a quasi dictator whose political opponents all conveniently get assassinated or imprisoned and supporter of the Syrian regime, Clinton, one of only two Presidents of the United States to undergo impeachment proceedings on charges of perjury and obstruction of justice, and Naomi Campbell, supermodel brat accused ten times between 1998 and 2008 of committing acts of violence against employees and others, and more recently accused in a war crimes trial of receiving Liberian blood diamonds. The ambassadorial roll call for Novikov it seems is unimpeachable, oops, poor choice of words. Meanwhile the website also reports that Novikov's global expansion reflects the fa

Arkady Novikov is a prolific restaurateur in Russia, opening his first restaurant in 1992 in Moscow and now having dozens of restaurants in Moscow and St Petersburg. He has now taken over the large premises that used to be Grand Prix, just south of Berkeley Square. There are in fact two restaurants in the Novikov complex, the other serving Italian food, but this review is of the pan-Asian restaurant.
Odo
What has in common Japanese, Italian and Russian? Apparently Novikov. The Russian restaurateur Arkady Novikov opened a huge space with a lounge, Asian room, and Italian room
LoveFoodLoveDrink
Novikov Restaurant & Bar is the first restaurant outside Russia for the 50 strong restaurant group and with its Mayfair location, it’s certainly aiming high. The venue is divided into two restaurants, one specialising in Asian food and the other classic Italian. Head downstairs and you will also find a standalone Lounge Bar serving up a snazzy cocktail menu to the beat of live music and DJs. Following a couple visits to the bar just months after its launch, it’s clear that Novikov has made an impression on London’s restaurant scene. Every last seat in the restaurants are taken and every inch of the bar is filled with an international jet-set crowd, whilst the band of paparazzi outside confirms the presence of a regular celebrity clientele.

Service wise, our experience did not get off to the best start. When we arrived, we were greeted by a very surly maitre’d who seemed to want to be anywhere else but there. But the rest of the service experience was quite nice and pleasant. Nevertheless, it wasn’t completely flawless for when it came to dessert time our waiter mistakenly gave one of our desserts to the table next to ours before soon realising the error.

Beautiful food and beautiful surroundings I was so impressed by this novikov with it split level restaurants and bars. The food choices were vast and such high quality I will definitely return here again

Monday night and there must been 500 people here. Over he last 2 years, I've probably been to novikov more times than any other sit down restaurant in London. And it's always packed. They have maybe the best service in any restaurant I've been to in London. Okay - food. King crab salad! Brilliant! Tuna tartare and Seabass carpaccio! Amazing! I'm a steak guy - their rib eye is mad! And I think they have more desserts that I want than anyplace else. Normally I look at a dessert menu and there's maybe 2 things I want and so it's easy enough to pick. Not here. Every single one sounds awesome and there are 20 things. I took a picture of the dessert I had most recently!

Very fancy restaurant in the Mayfair area, where you have a choice of going to the Asian restaurant, or the Italian restaurant- my friends and I decided to try the Italian. The restaurant is very elegant, as is the crowd, so it's good if you want to have a fancy dinner-night out. The bar is also very enjoyable, with a wide variety of drinks to choose from, as well as nice lounge-y music. The food at Novikov was good-I would perhaps say it's a little bit overpriced knowing you can get much better Italian at a much lower price- but Novikov is one of those places you go to also for the ambience and vibe that it offers. I recommend trying out the Buratta as a starter, and the Ricotta and asparagus ravioli. I don't know if I would go back, perhaps for a drink, but I think food-wise, you can get better Italian in the area. But again, it depends on what sort of night-out you're after. Haven't tried the Asian, but I've heard the Italian is better.
The Moody Foodie
If a classy dinner is what you're looking for, Novikov's Italian room will provide just that. Upon walking into the restaurant, one is enticed by the vibe coming from the music at the bar area, the formal atmosphere, and the exquisite air. After all, it is located on Berkeley Street. Rest assured, if you have not made a reservation in advance, the wait will not be a short one. However, it will be a worthwhile one.

My boyfriend and I came here to celebrate our anniversary with a classy Italian dinner, and we were not disappointed. As a starter, we ordered a seasonal meal, the truffle pasta containing 20g (!) of black truffle. Representative of many high-end places, we were expecting the typical small-sized dish, a 'masterpiece on a plate'. A masterpiece on a plate it surely was, but small? Definitely not! We had difficulty finishing it, as it was rather large for a starter! Nonetheless, it was definitely an amazing dish which my boyfriend and I have agreed we'd be coming back for.

As a main, I ordered the Gnudi di Ricotta di Bufala e Spinaci, Burro e Salvia. The dish looked like a ricotta and spinach stuffing that would usually be served inside a tortellini. The dish was great, but not as memorable as the starter. It was quite filling, and after a few bites, I got the feeling that I didn't really want to be eating any more of it. My boyfriend had the Coralli con Ragu’ di Vitello e Piselli, which is the Coralli pasta with venison ragu. His venison ragu was cooked to perfection, and I thoroughly enjoyed stealing bites from him throughout the night.

Overall, we had a fantastic dining experience here, with the meals being adequately priced. However, with additions of white truffles selling at £11 per gram, the prices may have been a bit steep when it came to certain dishes.

This place serves really good Asian cuisine. The food that we ordered was appealing and appetizing and each dish was different from the other and had its own unique flavor. The service was slow and the prices are high but still this place is great for a one time experience!

This place is a must try when you are in London with a group of friends. The atmosphere is just chilled out and relaxed. You are served by beautiful girls and being a gang of guys that definitely added to our experience. The food is offered in a large variety and is a little expensive but with the excellent service that is being offered you would not mind paying that amount.
Luca Gibbs
Visited this place for a birthday dinner and had a wonderful meal. To begin with, the service is incredible. Staff is welcoming, attentive and amicable. We had dinner at the asian part of the restaurant. The menu is extensive and has interesting choices. Food was delicious and served quickly! Definitely recommending !

This place offers some really nice food and their Crispy tuna maki is worth dying for. We also called for a peking duck as a main, which was professionally prepared and tasted delicious. They also offer a huge list of wines, and the ones suggested by the waiter tasted amazing.
Finlay Nash
The food at this place was amazing, but this is not the only thing that you look for in a restaurant. The service was plain rude and most of the servers seemed unhappy to serve us. The food arrived too late and we had to wait for a long time before we could finally bust our hunger.
Priya Ahuja
I decided to meet a friend nearby and we both stumbled across this place. We had previously heard a lot of positive reviews about this restaurant and decided to check it out. We chose the Asian restaurant which was upstairs. The decor there was quite nice and the seating comfortable. The food was quite delicious and the staff very amicable and efficient. Definitely worth a try.

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. The food came as a happy surprise. The servers are friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The food is both delectable and sumptuous. The presentation of food is also well thought after. The prices are little steep but worth it. Totally recommended and shall visit again.

This place is a sheer delight and cannot wait to come back again, To begin with, the place is mostly busy and fills up quickly, would suggest coming early to grab a seat as it is definitely worth! The staff is welcoming, attentive and amicable. Decor is classy and gorge worthy, A must visit!

I went here a couple of weeks ago with three other friends. We enjoyed ourselves very much and a great experience. The layout of this place is quite intriguing and the decor very good. The atmosphere is lively and buzzing. The food is also quite good and the staff very amicable. I will surely be returning here.

I've been a lover of Asian food all my life and this place offers some of the best Asian cuisine around London. I've been to this place twice and I've had an amazing experience both the times. We called for some Wagyu dumplings which were nicely prepared and the Singapore noodles were extremely delicious.
Lewis Hunter
I have been tot his restaurant only once with some of my colleagues and what a lovely time we spent there. The food was delicious. The restaurant serves Asian cuisine and does so perfectly well. The ingredients are fresh and speaks volumes about the competency of the chef. The portions are decent too.

This place is much more than authentic Chinese or Japanese food. The food here has a modern twist to the traditional dishes and makes your experience all the more intriguing.
The service is rushed but not chaotic. Quick as they were, the staff was also very attentive throughout. For a bootle of wine, seven starters and three mains, our bill was a modest 330 pounds! Truly reasonable for London standards.
Thomas Gibson
I made a reservation at this place without having read the reviews. The prices were exorbitant, and the food was very average for the prices. The service, however, was not as bad as we feared.
Josh Sykes
The service here needs to be improved tremendously. We were not greeted well when we entered the place. The service and behavior of staff during the meal was good. But towards the end, the waiter served us a dessert we hadn't ordered. I'm not sure if I would recommend this place.

I've been to the place before and thought it was pretty average by all means , and decided to give it another shot . This time around , I thought the food was amazing , and if one goes back here , it should be for the food . I will want to go back again to try other dishes there .

It was a delight to be invited to such a prestigious place , the Novikov to try aperitivo which is on my list of favorites. It was actually a marvelous way to get the taste of a place and I enjoyed it thoroughly.
Despite the fact of dining for two years in London, there is a long list to visit places and I'm going to complete my list pretty soon.

I loved this place so much that I even planned on having my wedding party at this place. The atmosphere of the place is amazing and the service is quick and attentive.
We ordered the Spinach and some Ricotta dumplings which were mouth-watering. My fiance ordered a Squid ink tagliolini which was exquisite. Although we were both full after our dinner, we managed to make some space for the desserts and loved them as well.
Sophia Walker
Some wonderful food here and delightful service . The staff was kind enough to find us another table even . The place is buzzing with energy , and is great for a night out with friends , not exactly the place for a private dinner for two . The food is delectable , and so are the desserts , good food , and amicable service , a little slow sometimes , because of the huge crowd they have to cater to.
Radhika Badami
Here they offer you some great desserts , I mean the variety is great .
Ambiance is very good you can sit her for hours and you won't get bored. The service that they have been providing is also very good , waiters are very friendly. Their salad has good amount of sauce in them. If you visit here do visit the Lounge bar because they got some great collection of cocktails there.
Evie Wright
Do not go by the crowd this place has in and around for waiting as it is everything but a good experience. With the worst type of cipriani on offer to also a shoddy service, this place is truly disappointing.
It is shocking to still see so many people outside in a queue waiting to get a table.
Personally, I just did not like it.
Raju Dugal
I had a meal here with my colleague and it was a more formal outing than a casual one.
I visit this Italian place very regularly and until this time, I was never disappointed.
A suggestion to the management would be to maybe cut down on the price and not on the quality of meat which is being served. We were terribly dismayed by the way our meat was cooked or even presented.
I will never return here!
Olivia Jones
I visited this restaurant with my friend a while back and we had a good time there. But this time, our experience was not that great considering that the food was not well-prepared and lacked flavor to an extent of being tasteless. I would surely not go back to this place.
Phoebe Cartwright
I recently visited this place and had a disappointing experience here. The food was just average and not even close to the price for which it was charged which put us off. On top of this, the service was just fine and nothing great and the staff was trying us to choose as much as possible to sell their things off. I would not like to visit this place again.
Sam Gara
This restaurant has got me hungry for more, the taste is just fantastic!
I frequent to this place a lot and have recommended it to a lot of my friends who all like it very much. The menu has great selection of dishes on offer and the quality is definitely supreme. The meat dishes here made me a fan of meat. I suggest this place for sure. And i am coming back!
Austin Rahman
I was utterly disappointed with the service at this place and did not expect such a follow up even after writing then an email stating the same. My expensive and branded dress was spoiled by the drinks dropped by the staff there.
The manager had assured me that the damages caused would be recovered but that was a false promise itself cause i have not received any re reimbursement yet.BAD SERVICE!
Benjamin Potter
My experience at this Asian restaurant hasn't been the best. The service was disappointing, as multiple requests were ignored. The starters and sushi were decent, but our main course was abhorring. We ordered the tiger prawns and chilean sea bass, both of which were terrible in taste. To add to my misery, I later contracted a serious bout of food poisoning, and found myself obliged to report this matter. I have been trying to get this matter addressed for a number of days now, with repeated calls and emails, but to no avail. I am sorry to say that it was one of my worst dining experiences.

I was planning to go there with my whole family so I booked a table for 7 people.
When we were going to this place , we were struck in traffic and I called this place and told then that we are going to be late in which she rudely said that if we are not here by the time we have booked on , then our table might be given to someone else. As we reached there , I ran so that I could get my table while my father was looking for a place to park . I saw that around 5 tables were empty at that time so what was all the rush about.
Anyways our waiter was also pretty rude to us , we thought of having chefs special but he suggested us other dishes on which he said that I know this place better so what I am suggesting you is the best.
Our dishes were awful and when we complaint about this to the manager he was very sorry.
He did not charge service tax and offered us free wine too.
Lucas Dawson
This restaurant does not fulfil on various levels.
The service is not good.
We were a group of ten and we were celebrating a friend's birthday.
The food tasted awful! The black cod was tasteless, sushi was stale, salmon tart too sour, crab legs with mayonnaise are not a good combination. Hence our evening ruined.
Not much good Asian food can be found in Novikov.
So maybe you should try somewhere else.
Avoidable!
Mohammad Malik
This place really let me down. It was quite contrary to my expectations. Keeping in mind the price, the food was very uninteresting and lacked in flavors. I doubt the food was freshly made as it arrived at our table soon after we ordered. In my opinion, it must have been reheated and served to us. As they were trying to hurry us out of the restaurant, we only enjoyed one bottle of wine.
Elijah Bird
I had a very good experience after visiting this restaurant. The quality of food was top notch but I must say it was quite expensive. The staff was polite and the service was impeccable. I recommend you to definitely try this place some time and I am pretty sure that you won't get disappointed.

Fancy an Asian or an Italian cuisine? Novikov offers both options and it is one of the best to go to. It's located in Mayfair in a really nice area and it's divided into two parts with two different atmospheres. Since I was feeling like Asian food on the day I visited the place, I chose to eat the duck and some of their sushi. It was simply delicious! After having a meal you can check out downstairs, which has a bar with really nice music and all kinds of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, although be aware the entrance restriction age is 21.

Novikov is the hottest and preferable place to have a dinner or drinks with friends in the most posh area-Mayfair.
Located in the heart of central London and a few metres from Green Park tube station & the Ritz Hotel you can find Novikov Restaurant and Bar. You can choose between Asian and Italian Restaurants. Personally I prefer the Italian ones. Also the service is superb, the kitchen is magnificent and works till late.
The crowd in the lounge is magnificent and the rooms in bar are covered with comfortable and cozy couches everywhere. Likewise, the music is fantastic as well, in all I had a great time and I am recommending it.
Jasvant
Beautiful ambience..average food for vegetarian..not value for money. Disappointing service.
