Really lovely burger out at Byron Burger Bar in London opposite to the Shaftesbury theatre.
The server showed us to our table, we booked in advance. The server advised us of the best deal - Uncle Sam burger for £9.99.
Great food, nice atmosphere. Toilets were upstairs and were clean.
I would visit again.

Definitely one of the better hamburger chains out there. Fairly priced, good staff and lovely food. Worth a visit.

Great experience. Server was very prompt and food arrived quickly. Recommended the coronation chicken strips and the dip was delicious. Burger was excellent and the sweet potato fries were great.

Used to be the best burger since inception but I think the beef recipe was changed and its not like old days.

Years ago, I had an amazing experience at Byron burger and I’ve finally come back to try again.
It doesn’t look like they have courgette fries anymore or give a long slice of pickle to go with the burger.
The burger was really tasty even though the quality seems to have changed. It was a little on the medium to rare side, but I’m ok with that.
The mac and cheese was ridiculously stringy and really enjoyable.
I have to go back again and try it again to see if it was just a one off. I’d definitely recommend trying their burgers.

A great restaurant/diner with amazing food. The staff is friendly and forthcoming. The food is fresh and well prepared and the atmosphere is great (personal taste). It’s like an American diner. I’ve visited Byron several times, before the pandemic and after. It’s still amazing.

Enjoyed a mouthwatering festive Brie Merry Burger: 6oz patty, creamy brie, bacon, braised red cabbage with spinach, mulled plum chutney and home made mustard mayo. Most delicious.

Thank you so much to the manager for seating 6 of us so quickly. We just had a bad experience at another nearby Japanese restaurant, as we have a guide dog and the restaurant staff were being horrible 😔 The food at Bryon's was hot and tasted great, especially the onion rings and chicken strips. Thank you to all the staff, we left very full 😄

One of the best burger restaurants I've ever visited. The meal was very delicious and the milkshake with the whiskey shot - just extraordinary.

Grilled chicken burger is very good. Beef was too spicy and average. Restaurant decor is very bad, Too many colors dose not fit together 😅🙈

Outstanding location. The restaurant was full but we got a table in a couple of minutes. Staff very helpful and friendly.

The decoration of the restaurant itself is not exciting, the same opinion for the burger.

Probably it is the only place in that area of west end where you can get a table on a Saturday night for a burger, go there if it is what you look for. Price and atmosphere are good.

241 Thursday all throughout January with their code. First time at Byron and I had the Smoky. Thought the size of the burger would be smaller (as is the case for most burger joints in London) but thankfully I wasn't disappointed! The size of the burger was average and enough for a dinner portion. It was bigger than the size of the burger at Ed's diner as well as that at GBK. Great flavours as well from the barbecue sauce and fried onions. I just wish the pieces of fried onions were bigger so that they would actually stay inside my burger. Otherwise, no complaints! Superb service as well. Will likely be back next Thursday for the last two for one Thursday in January.

Always a consistent place for a good burger. Went basic with the cheeseburger and it delivered. The service initially was a bit slow but am a fan and will be back

I loved loved Byron! All establishments have a different and fun mood/decor. With friendly and fast service. The burgers are great, with good meat and good presentation.

In addition to the burger we ordered potatoes and fried eggplant that was very fine.
I could not resist and ordered another burger to split, because of its perfectly pink flesh on the spot, with great bread without being soggy. Got to love that burger
Mmmnice
Another burger joint. I visited with a friend on a Sunday after a trip to the Portrait Gallery up the road. The place is basically modelled on an American style diner. I naturally opted to go for a burger and fries. To be honest I wasn't overly impressed with burger, and if it was a choice between opting for Byron or another chain such as GBK I'd go for the latter. This isn't to say it was terrible, it wasn't entirely to my taste, as I prefer a bigger bit of beef. On the other hand if you do go in I'd get a portion of onion rings as they were good

While I enjoyed the experience and thought the complimentary dessert was super cool, I’m still going two thumbs up on Shake Shack. I can’t fault Byron Burger for anything. It’s just that the sauce on the Shake Shack burgers makes my knees go all silly. Now, what I haven’t done yet is eat at Dirty Burger. I’m certainly entertained by the name. Because face it, there’s nothing pretty about putting your hands and mouth around a big juicy burger. They also have my full attention with the breakfast burgers featured on their menu. I can fantasize that their combination of sausage and egg in the morning is something that would definitely get me out of a warm bed on a cold winter day. What are your thoughts, Sunny friends? The service was impersonal, forgetful and too quick for comfortable eating. The food was average and I was mildly disappointed with mine and the cold almost sterile atmosphere did not help this place. I do not think the recommendations were deserved. As a result sex drugs and Bacon Rolls gives this gourmet burger chain:

The restaurant was suitably decorated with a vague American diner theme to it- it had a polished look that most chains attain. Even though fairly busy for a weekday night, the restaurant was well-run and the staff were very efficient. My request (since the tables were fairly close together and the restaurant noisy for the small space) for a quiet table away from the door to the restaurant was easily accommodated. I can’t speak for the uniformity of the outlets but from the efficiency of this location, the restaurant chain on a whole has a good formula.

I found several glowing shouts for the courgette fries - lovely little battered strips, worth the visit alone, and we also had normal chips between us too. In and out in an hour, brilliant burger, job done.

Having worked in the West End extensively over the past few years, there are several lunch spots that I would describe as the perfect hangover go-to. Byron is most certainly a contender.

Still one of the best burgers in London
Loving the courgette fries amazing never bad them before washed down with the Brooklyn larger oh yeah little bit of coleslaw don't go a miss let me tell you please try the strawberry milkshake promise you won't go wrong been to 3 different Byron's and every time I'm happy with what I've had to eat and drink

One of the best burgers I have ever eaten. Amazing service provided, was truly impressed. Very helpful staff. The only minus is seating area, depends on where you have been seated. If there is a wait at the door and it gets open for longer then few seconds, it can get drafts and cold air does not comply with cosy atmosphere.

During Movember 2011 I visited this Byron at least 10 times. As you might have heard, Byron has been offering one free burger a day for about three weeks to those who have raised over £25 for Movember.

As this branch was the closest to me, i paid them a visit every other day during this period. The staff are as nice as you can imagine, very friendly and polite. The food also is as good as you would expect from Byron.

There are a few downsides however, one that I believe at times they are understaffed. When it gets really busy, you have to wait for quite a while just to order or to pay. I think with only a couple of more staff during rush hour can make the operation a lot smoother. I have been there recently as well and it was during rush hour, the problem is still there but perhaps slightly better than it was before.

It is located less than a minute's walk from Leicester Square station and is well known for its delicious burgers. The burgers are divine, and the portions are large. Prices are moderately high, around £9 for a burger, without any fries. Service was outstanding and the food arrived relatively quickly despite the restaurant being packed. I had the beef burger which was heavenly and had a unique flavour and texture to it. I would definitely recommend it to all beef lovers.

Byron can be spotted from miles with its kaleidoscopic sign singing Byron!! Well if you do hear the melodies then do visit! The place will surprise you. It is wonderful service with even more wonderful milkshakes! The burger buns are moist and the pate is delicious! If you are looking for a good burger place, which you can definitely bank upon, this is it.
The value for money is great! You can spend up 12£ for a good meal!
