Visited after hearing recommendations and was was pleased to with the visit. We ordered the hot and sour soup and kolkata chicken for starter, chili chicken and dry red chili beef for mains. The soup and starter did us plenty. Good portions and excellent quality and taste. Spicy food lovers, this place is a must.

Nice place! Good Vegetarian options on the menu and a pleasant ambience inside. They made the meals suitable for Jain which most of the family were impressed about. Waiters were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend to people to book the table and turn up on time! This place fills up quickly. Location is excellent. Short walk from Ravenscourt Park underground station. Side street parking is ok. Only critique would be some dishes were either too bland or too salty and the prices reflect the expensive west London location.

We recently ate in and the food was a lot better. Service was lovely and the loos were clean. The chicken lollipop was better but still too doughy for my liking. We tried the chicken Manchurian and triple schezwan sizzlers and both were amazing. Overall I would recommend eating in rather than take away.

Such a nice place overall! Indochinese cuisine is something you cannot find easily in london and i must say i was impressed by the dishes, they were really tasteful and also large portions! The american chopsuey is a must try dish! The pepper chilli paneer was also really nice and the chicken manchurian was decent, but not too much my taste because it has a strong coriander flavour...!!!

Food and service amazing. Make sure you book in advance as it does get busier at 7pm. We only spent about 50 minutes as the food arrived very quick

Omg! The honey Chili duck was amazing!!! I loved every bit of it and the vegetable rice was so good too! However the Virigin Blueberry Mint drink was seriously delicious and what impressed me was the portion size for a reasonable price. However what I disliked was the loud music and slightly clueless staff (12.5% tip was a bit too much IMO) nevertheless I will definitely come back just for the food :))

Enjoyed the food here. Preferred the starters over the mains due to the wide choice, be it either meat or non-veg. Mains just seem to be very carby being bulked with rice or noodles and a side of curry or something saucy (which may appeal to many). But after nibbling on a range of starters this is just too much for me to digest! Would return and recommended if you want a fusion kick of indo chinese.

Lovely food with great service...the chicken lollipops is one of the best dishes to try

Absolutely delicious. The chilli paneer is one of the best paneer dishes I’ve had in London (I always order it for home delivery when I’ve had a long day and need a pick-me-up). Pair it with tandoor chicken lollipops, broccoli and drizzle it with the accompanying sauces = heaven. The mango lassi is delicious.

I found it one day on Deliveroo, I use to order take aways just to eat anything when I don’t have time to cook as there is really little places that have even decent food. But this one.... OMG! The best food ever! All the dishes are very good. I am very hard to please when it comes to food but this place managed to do so! I am addicted to it! I am in love in Chicken Lollipops! I wish you guys all the best!

Excellent food, very good service! A bit pricy though as they charge 12.5% service tax on top of an already pricy menu. Would highly recommend to anyone fancying Indo-chinese. Giving 5 stars for the quality of the food as I have tried many Indo chinese restaurants in London and other parts of the UK but this is the best so far. Would go again (maybe on a payday!)

I found the restaurant HMC approved on Zabiha app, went for after work dinner with husband, was very anxious about the food but felt very happy and satisfied after eating. The service was very professional, the dishes were very tasty especially hot and sour soup and deep fried wonton starter, highly recommend it for Indi Chinese flavours. Chocolate pudding and berry Mocktail on the recommendation of staff was very tasty and flavoursome.
A satisfied customer indeed.

Extremely rude person on phone when I called to complain about the food as we have got stomach ache after eating their food. Rather than apologising the person on the mobile number given on the website started arguing with me in a very rude tone. He also refused to tell me his identity. I have never experienced any staff talking to customer like this specially when the customer has suffered problems after eating your food. Disgusting I must say. Guys never go to this restaurant. All the 5* reviewers are their friends and family I guess.

Best chicken lollipops I’ve ever tried!! Singapore rice noodles are also very good.
They also have the Indian version of the Coca Cola, Thumbs up

Bombay chow is just the concept that was missing from the London scene, my first experience at Bombay Chow was exhilarating! We went to celebrate my friend's birthday at their new branch at Kings Street in Hammersmith last week. I'm so glad we chose this absolutely lovely and cosy place with a truly Mumbai feel, amazing food and lush cocktails. The star of the evening was the food, all mouthwatering dishes with stunning presentation put smile on each of us. We were a table of 10 with 3 vegetarians and all of us left the place with such amazing memories and experience by giving their best in hospitality (service, food, ambience). I would definitely go back to taste the most unique fusion of their dishes and yummy cocktails.
Highly recommended with a rating of 10/10 from all of us and we thank the wonderful team of Bombay Chow for making our evening so special.

Rarely you come across a restaurant where you really like the food but still hesitate to recommend it. We decided to go to this place as part of our EID celebrations this year. We were a group of 17 including children. Firstly, We were asked to put our credit card down to confirm our booking. Plus we were also told if we don't turn up in exact numbers as per booking we will be charged something crazy like £20 per person for 'breaking their policy'. We have never seen this kind of policy around UK let alone in London. When we raised our concern with the staff at the restaurant we were told if you don't come someone else will. Says a lot of a mindset of an organisation. Secondly, service was not up to scratch. We were given wrong dishes and when we refused to accept we were shown the order from another table to prove we were the ones who ordered it. Also, not kids friendly at all. All in all not a great experience. Although food was great, it was a bit on the expensive side. Recommended for food, for service and specially if you have kids please look elsewhere.

I came with my wife to eat here we had starters and wanted to order mains but they just closed the kitchen without telling us they would close. After getting told I complained to the manager but instead of showing us good service he was just getting rude to us and told us to leave the place
I mean they definitely don't know they're hospitality
And the manager with long hair is the rudest manager I've ever come across in a restaurant
Definitely worth getting sacked if they wana improve

Amazing indo-Chinese food. Great drinks and desserts. Good for family ... try the peach sour and Phuket sea breeze ..Must try!! Have ordered catering too and got great service.

Delicious food, nice staff, average ambience but pathethic service. Too slow, only visit this place if you have 2 hours..
we ordered kun pao potatoes, schezwan lolipop and triple schezwan sizzler. Everything was nice.
Manchow soup was average.
Zarrin Memon
This is a great place if you are a fan of Indian Chinese. Service was faster than expected and the food tasted really nice. A must try here I would suggest is the triple schezwan sizzler. A nice place that’s well worth for the price you pay. Definitely recommended.

Have been here before two times, but truly the service has now degraded beyond imagination. We booked a table of 20 people, arrived in time at 19:00. As soon as we arrived, we were told to order and finish the food by 21:00. The staff was inefficient in explaining the portions of the dishes when asked; service was slow. As such 2 hours for 20 people didn't make sense. They really didn't care even to refill water or ask us how was everything and if we needed anything. At 21:00, we were told to finish off quickly. One of the staff even argued with many of us. To add on, we also found hair in our dessert!!!!

Overall, the food was ok, but the staff was rude. Good food with bad service really spoils the whole experience. Horrible, horrible, horrible service, the restaurant needs to learn some manners!!!!!!!

Went here for a evening dinner for five here.
The service overall is a bit slow. The waiter advised us to order the main course along with our drinks and starters as it might take time to get the food. It still took quite sometime between the starters and the main course.

The food was very good and true to its description had the Indian Chinese taste. The potato and okra starters were well made and presented. The spring rolls were quite good as wells. As for our main course since they did not have any breads , we went for rice varieties and also tried the Singapore noodles. The noodles was not the best. The rice and our cottage cheese side dishes went very well. We also tried the drinks menu and the chocolate cocktail was well liked by all my friends.

Overall a good place to try out of you would like a night of Indian Chinese food. Service could be improved even though it was not bad.

Food -3.5
Interior- 3
Location and menu - 3.5

Finally found a place that serves chicken lollypop in London! So happy at the sight. This was a great Indo-chinese restaurant with good ambiance and service. Their manchow soup is amazing on a cold winter evening. The regular dishes like chicken manchurian, chicken lollypop, Singapore fried rice and Hakka noodles are great in taste. Although I missed the table sauces we need with these - the vinegar with green chillies, soy sauce and red chilli sauce. Hope they start serving them soon.
Londonfoodster
our ifthar today was dry chilli beef and chicken manchurian sizzler . amazing Indo-Chinese food, best I have had in london so far. for starters we had chicken lollipop and baby back ribs. Ribs was a bit too saucy but lollipop was great. Don't forget to try their nimbu pani, you will love it. Lastly, service is exceptional.

If you are fanatic about Indo-Chinese food - that's Indian style Chinese as served in many Bombay cafes and Indian pubs alike, this is the place for you. Service is with smile and portion sizes are very generous. Only shame is that they don't do any Indian breads to go with the dishes as naan or rumali Roti would definitely add to the pleasure. Chilli chicken was a bit on gravy side rather than drier as I expected but Singaporean noodle were fantastic and so was Szechwan chilli tofu in starter.

Worth a visit especially if you fancy some Indian greasy pub grub with your beer!

Every single person from India is a fan of Indo-Chinese food and that is why I decided to try out Bombay Chow because this lesser known cuisine from India is one of my favourite. The place looks small but it is not and the ambience is simple but it looks amazing. Now coming straight to the point- the food, the service.
Food-
Starters- Pepper Paneer Chilly
Main course- Triple Schezuan Fried Rice
Refreshments - Our very own Nimbu Pani, a very refreshing cooler which calms you down during the summers.
The food looked amazing and tasted exactly the way I wanted. The portions were huge.
Excellent service.
I never thought I would ever find a Indo- Chinese restaurant in London which serves amazing food.
Definitely worth visiting the restaurant.
A very cozy place, good ambience, friendly service... Good mix of Bollywood songs playing in the background
We had manchow soup with Hakka chicken, American chopsuey and Triple Schezwan rice ... Everything was up to the mark, piping hot and tasted same as in India. The service was prompt, we did not have to wait between courses. The portion were just perfect , throughly enjoyed with Ruchika Paralikar

For a lover of Indo-Chinese food (the lesser known dimension of Indian cuisine), this was a surprise revelation in UK. We made reservations on a Friday and could only get a table next to the door as they were booked.

For starters we ordered some favorites (read my favorites) - chicken lollypop, manchow soup. The chicken was yumm. Soup - meh. The mains were bad. They need to work on getting the sauces right. Upsetting considering Indo-Chinese cuisine has nostalgic stronghold. But it was good to see an extensive menu, although I wonder why they have sizzlers - a clear misfit.

Service - painfully slow. The lady serving was very apologetic. Food delays - understandable. Drink delays - nah!! I wanted to try my Bacardi with Thums Up (an Indian cola beverage). But I was gutted that it was unavailable (why raise expectations by putting it on the menu?!).

Very packed and busy. Small space but quite decent. Would prefer getting a take away.

I know of 2 indo-Chinese restaurants in London and this one is pretty on point
The food is consistent in quality and flavour- just what to expect for Indian-Chinese craving! Personally though I feel the food is a little overpriced however looking at the effort in decor and ambience I am happy to pay the extra value.

I've had grief with using my gourmet society card as the app and the staff had different offers for using the card which caused confusion.

We were told the kitchen was closed once due to being late on our reservation by 5 minutes .. Recommend calling them in advance before visiting the restaurant to avoid disappointment.

All in all the service and waiting time for food is more than satisfactory. Keep it up!

Indian Chinese is a cuisine in it's own respect. The dishes are an amalgamation of Indian and Chinese ingredients. Soya sauce, lots of ginger, garlic and green chillies are the main components. I've grown up in Calcutta eating this cuisine and in spite of trying a wide variety of cuisines I still feel this cuisine is my favourite.

So when I find any Indian Chinese restaurants in London (there aren't too many) I'm chuffed. Bombay Chow is one of those few places in London.

I've been to this place a few times now and feel that they aren't very consistent. Some of my favourite dishes are Calcutta Chilli Chicken, Vegetable Manchurian, Burnt Ginger Fried Rice, Hakka noodles, Chinese Chopsuey, the soups and chicken lollipop to name a few. Out of all my visits, I've had extremely varied experiences. Sometimes the food is excellent and sometimes it just lacks flavour. This place needs to be more consistently good to be able to promote itself better.

If you want to try the cuisine to see if it tickles your culinary fancy - I would suggest you to give it a go.

We went on a Friday night on my birthday after reading good reviews about this place. The place was noisy as it was packed with people.

Here is what we ordered for 2 people:

1. Veg Munchow soup –It was a decent soup alas it wasn’t what I would call a munchow soup.

2. Veg American choupsy – Soggy and below average at best

3. Veg Munchurian – Very different from the normal munchurian we are used to having, very oily too but it was tasty.

4. Veg hakka Noodles – It was soooo horrible that I was tempted to ask for money for having tasted it. It was smelly, tasteless and we just left the whole portion.

Total bill: £31

Coming to the staff and the owner – The staff weren’t warn or friendly and they took ages to first take the order and then we had to wait for a long time for our food to be served.

I have seen some stingy restaurant managers but not one like the owner/ manager at Bombay Chow. Our 9 month baby was getting a little crancky and we asked the manager if we could get “5 or 6 stands of plain boiled noodles for the baby”. We were shocked when he replied saying that although they do Hakka noodles with vegetables, he was happy to prepare one without veggies for the baby.... but .....only if we ordered a full portion of Hakka Noodles. Wow….

Overall, it was a very bad experience, one to forget!!!

Excellent food and very warm n helpful service. Everything we ate was delicious, totally reminded of the kind of Chinese fare from India.
For starters Tai Pai paneer as suggested by our waiter was really good, Sichuan chicken lollypops altered to our spice level and calamari made a tasty start.
Hakka noodles, chilli chicken, vegetables in clay pot were good but something worth mentioning was egg fried rice and chicken manchurian - must try!!!
Overall tummy full and heart is happy! ( forget calories for a meal ?)

A very nice place to go for brilliant Indian chinese food. They have an amazing menu, and the spicy mango juice is just a delight. All fresh food and a real good taste. The service is also very friendly. If they can make the vegetarian dishes so well then definitely they are much better at the non veg. A must go place.

Loved loved loved the food. The food is authentic indo-chinese, not toned down, or sweetened. I would definitely suggest talking to the waiters as to what you want and they can customize the levels of spice according to how you like it.

Fried rice was awesome! Paneer taipei was perfectly spicy and crunchy.
Awesome place and definitely a must go if you miss appna waala hakka noodles stall :)

The best Indo-Chinese food so far. A big thank you for opening this place at Hammersmith. This place resembles proper Indo-chinese food from Mumbai(India). All foods from soups to starters to their main is a must try. Thanks again for bringing in the amazing sizzlers, which are the most popular in Mumbai, and me being a Mumbaikar I went crazy when i saw the Bombay Sizzlers in their menu.
The ambience and its lightning is pure beauty handled by their amazing service. An entire wall near the entrance is painted with the best and amazing parts of Mumbai.
Howmuch ever i would write about this place its not going to be enough. This place is a blessing for all food lovers specially from India. 'A complete feel like home' place. This place tops my recommendations for restaurant. Do not miss it, you will surely like it.

This new restaurant in hammersmith offers one of the popular cuisine in India , specially Mumbai.
So from what I've tried , I would recommend everyone to try dishes with paneer (indian cottage cheese) , pepper chilli paneer is a really good started with good flavors of garlic and onions and moderately spicy .
There are also types of gravy with paneer , like paneer schezuan with spicy saucy and peace that goes well with rice . The chicken manchurian is another good gravy to opt for , with the rice . One should also try the Bombay sizzlers with dishes with rice or noodles served on a sizzling hot pan .
The place is small and beautiful with very friendly staff and very reasonably priced .
