I been coming here since 2005. Best Indian cuisine in Paddington. Although the food is of excellent quality, the restaurant's focus is clearly on drawing customers.
This service has made them well-known.
Some people order different kinds of cuisine, eat it, and love it.

NoorJahan takes its diners on an exquisite culinary journey through the diverse and vibrant flavors of India. From the moment you step inside, the inviting ambiance, adorned with traditional Indian decor, sets the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.

Overall good experience, I am not sure why people are complaining about staff, we haven’t faced any challenge, in fact found staff very courteous and supportive. Food quality was good, enjoyed the lamb kebabs and spinach. Also butter chicken was refreshing and tasteful. Cost wise it was ok, because of its location to Paddington station.

Thank you for a fantastic dinner. They saw us struggling with the decision and promised us that it won't be too spicy (one child) and it turned out perfect.
The Peshawari Naan was sweet and soft, so was the butter naan. The chef's special lamb was amazing (must try) and the meat was so soft. The Rogan Josh lamb was so flavorful and mild. They remix the spice for the Chicken Tikka!!
Amazing meal. We ate alot of Indian Cuisine in Toronto and in Asia, my hats off to the chef for blending the spices that each dish has its own unique flavor.
Greeter, waiter, servers - all excellent service.
Great meal for our 1st day in London. Thank God Hyde Park is few mins away... we need to walk off the calories.

Hello people. As thought about London a beautiful city to visit in UK; had a bad experience with restaurant Noor Jahan Paddington. Me and my friend visited this place today for dinner we called for some drinks papaddum lentil soup 3rotis sabji and rice. After 10mins the manager comes down to say sorry Madame you have to call for more meal as you don’t come in our list of satisfied pound for two people that is 45-50 pounds. By that time waiter got drink and a soup. We had a word with manager asking him “sir we are two and we have called for enough”! He said sorry it’s our rule. He took our lentil soup bowl, a drink and water. He abused us and told us to leave. Been an Indian he insulted us in front of all. It’s like a shock. So another people all around the world don’t respect Indians. Because when your own people don’t respect you nothing else matters. Sad but true.

Please spread a word about this restaurant so it reaches to all the people worldwide.
Restaurant Noor Jahan Paddington. Don’t make it famous by just sharing it without concern. This guy kicked us out. 😖
We looked out and thought we will have a meal at Noor Jahan, Sussex place, London. I step with my two year old and it amazes me how these folks treated me. They did four mind boggling things to make me think how stupid they are and clearly tell me that Indians are not invited at this place. This place prefers foreigners over Indians and they are blatantly untruthful and rude about this

1. They said you can take the table once the gent finishes, after waiting for 15 minutes as the gent finished, the manager -Arun comes running outside and says 'sorry we have waiting for 45 minutes'.
2. They ask me to wait for 15 minutes outside some other restaurant across the road. Stupid as it may sound, but true.
3. They ask me to take a table in a dingy basement, when the table was empty and there to be taken outside
4. They ask me to go to some other restaurant across the road not once but thrice.

Absolute surprise behaviour amongst the amazing people that stay in London. This restaurant smells of favouritism for non Indians. Do not go and get yourself insulted if you are an Indian family wanting to have a meal in London, there are much better places around.

A good restaurant for mughlai and indian food. Nice ambience with some really mouth watering dishes. Recommend their Tandoori Chicken and Prawn Patia. The price of Tandoori dishes a tad steep but the taste compensates for that!
