Excellent thai, extremely fresh and tasty. Proper authenticity, just like being in the streets of Bangkok. Service was nice and friendly. We had 5 dishes, all were delicious. Som Tum was probably the best we've had in London and the lamb massaman was just so tender and well balanced. Prices were great and portions were good sizes. Definitely highly recommended.

WOW!!! An absolute gem of a place, the best Thai I’ve been to in London and the whole of the UK. The most gorgeous dishes made freshly and very good portions. Have been coming here for years and honestly is the best Thai going!! A must try is the stuffed chicken wings, super delicious and very authentic to Thailand. Couldn’t recommend anymore

Great local place with a nice cosy vibe. Very clean, warm service and delicious food. I find other local Thai restaurants and takeaways to lack flavour and balance (usually dishes are too sweet and don’t taste authentic), but the dishes here tasted correct to me. I really enjoyed the stir fried beef and the red curry. Would love to see sticky rice on the menu for a fully authentic experience!

Fantastic. The food is really tasty and service is also excellent. Portions seemed slightly small at first, but I was actually stuffed (I had a starter and a curry with rice). Prices are more than fair, too. 10/10 would highly recommend.

We had the green curry and Pad Kapraw and it was absolutely delicious! The prices are very low for what amazing food you get and the lady behind the counter is a sweetheart. This place deserves more customers!

Quite genuinely the best Thai food I've had in London. Wonderful flavours, charming service and a very reasonable price. Worth travelling to.

A nice local little thai place to dine.
Most of the dishes are tasty and the service is good.
Many different options for your palette to try.
The food is fresh and the time if served on time, no outdoor seating space.
Nice atmosphere and beautiful design.
A bit overpriced for its location and portions not very generous but very tasty.

I don’t ever write reviews but the Penang curry from this hidden gem of a restaurant has changed my life. The best curry I’ve ever had and I have tried multiple Penang curries since from other Thai restaurants even in Asia but none of them compare. Everyone needs to try this!!

I have tried many Thai restaurants in UK and found that this restaurant is one of the best Thai restaurants. I ordered 'Choo chi pla', a special menu and 'tod mun' for take-away. I really enjoyed with these foods. The price is reasonable. Recommended.

Authentic Thai Food in Islington! Quality ingredients means great tasting food! It was like i was having food in Bangkok myself! And to top it all, the price was very reasonable. I will be back here for sure!

Top, genuine Thai food, not forgetting the superb service! 'Have been eating at Nid Ting since '94 and have discovered many Thai taste firsts there e.g. Tom Yam, Som Tam, Kaprow vege and Woon sen noodles! Please , never close!

There is a reason why Nid Ting is rated so highly. And that reason is because they serve really good food. So good in fact that I have regularly traversed 30 minutes on foot for a eggplant stir fry and red curry. The service is quick, so quick in fact that I barely saw the waitress disappear into the kitchen before she reappeared, windswept and balancing a tray of entrees. The only downside to this restaurant is the absolute thievery that is the cost of rice. My advice would be to order take away and make your own rice at home - otherwise, a top notch joint.

Very friendly helpful staff. Some of the best thai food around and very reasonable priced. Portions are a good size as well.
It doesn't look great from the outside but as soon as you walk in its is lovely. Will definitely be back!

Discovered by chance accidentally tumbling into it long time ago. It's truly a hidden gem on Holloway Road.

So what do I love from here.

Love the decor, the service, the ambience.

Love love the food. The fish cakes starters. The Thai prawn salad, gawd! It's yummy.. The monk fish curry is bestifuul. My taste buds love everything this cook makes.

It's easy to pass by and not notice this little gem hidden in plain sight on Holloway Road. Characterised by an authentic cuisine, simple but evocative interiors and a lovely staff, Nid Ting is a little eden to find refuge into. The food is so inviting that me and a couple of friends overdid a bit, ending with four starters, two tempura, spring rolls and chicken satay, two pad thai, chicken and prawn and styr fried aubergines with chicken and beef with garlic and pepper. Stuffed!! The quality is high, the presentation excellent and the whole experience is something you want to share over and over again with friends or a loved one alike.

Massive menu too large to photo. Had a lush set menu for four and was very impressed with all the dishes. Full marks.

Been going here for 15 years after backpacking trip in Thailand...BEST THAI I'VE FOUND IN N.LONDON...AWESOME AUTHENTIC FOOD - try claypot fish trap soup starter, thai surrounding, a bit pricey but worth it.

A nice impromptu weekend treat was going for lunch with my neighbours! It is really great when you get to know your neighbours and they become close friends. It’s nice when you get to spend proper time with them. Staying local is a bonus; it takes no time at all to get to the restaurant and no time to return home after the meal.

Other mains were well received, the red chicken curry and a fiercely hot chicken stir fry with tonnes of chilli. There seemed to be a contingent of faithful regular diners appearing throughout the evening to a rapturous reception,

Nid Ting's location on Holloway Road is on a bit of a bleak stretch. There are fruit machines everywhere. I was a little curious about the last vestiges of a street market I passed as I made my way down from Archway Tube, but not so curious as to stop and

Good for casual dinners with friends or dates (but maybe not the first date!) - lovely, friendly service and solid, authentic Thai food. Also does takeaway. Great value for money too.
