Amazing food and vibe as usual. I found the servers to all be lovely but it did take a long time after being seated to be asked for our drinks order or be given a food menu so I had to go to the bar to order. We've never had this issue before, though, so I think it was just rather busy. The food came very quickly though and was all delicious, as was the drinks.

A nice spot for evening dinner. Food on the whole good, generous portions but fish pie was so so. Relaxed atmosphere and service with great views!

Wonderful gastro pub! My son and I visited here on Thursday at 12:30pm for lunch. When we arrived, there was only one other customer so it was very nice and quiet (some more people came later on). Good location by the river, nice and cozy decor, family friendly (a children's menu is available). I liked the background music too. It was relaxing but not underwhelming so was just right. All foods and drinks are fairly priced. I ordered a non-alcoholic mojito, a soup of the day and fish finger sandwiches with chips. All of them came quite quickly and OMG, the mojito was the best one I've ever had in London and also, the soup was the best one I've even had in my whole life! No kidding, it was delicious! Of course, the fish finger sandwiches were very tasty as well 🙂 We received great customer service, too. Both the waiting staff and chefs are nice & friendly (but not over the top). I believe the lady served our table is Alya, such a lovely lady, friendly, polite and very attentive. She always came at the right time for ordering and getting out bill. So yes, her service was excellent! Huge credit to her and the chefs for making our experience fantastic! Thank you, we can't wait to come back again 😊

Went here last Tuesday evening. Enjoyed it so much booked for Sunday lunch, which was even better. I had chicken, my friend the beef. Both excellent, and the location is amazing. That's Tuesday's pan fried cod in the pic!.
Edit: if you go on a Sunday, book a table. It's very busy.

Sunday evening was relatively quiet, but lucky that the kitchen remained open until 8pm. Full menu was available too, which was a bonus. Service was excellent, friendly and helpful. When an accidental Guinness was poured for our order, the barman acknowledged his mistake, but kindly offered us the pint at no additional charge - many other Greenwich pubs would have just poured it away. A nice gesture. Would definitely recommend, and on a sunny evening, there's an unrivalled view down the Thames.

Great food and the service although excruciatingly slow was very good, friendly and polite. Average sticky toffee pudding was a shame but going at sunset stuck the landing.

Great place! Been here a few times. The staff are great and I’d definitely recommend the Gnocci that’s on the menu at the moment, and a tequila sunrise cocktail!!

Excellent food, beautiful ham hock for starters and a Sunday roast for main which was good but could have been better and a tad warmer. Atmosphere is great along with tasteful decor a must eat if you're ever in that part of Greenwich. So far Greenwich has been appalling for food but this restaurant is class. Quality, go visit, they've got live music every other Friday too and quiz night from time to time, great view from the embankment and a bar to top it off so if you're in the mood for drinking you're covered.

FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE! My lady wanted to take me out for my birthday and a friend of hers recommended The Sail Loft, because they had a great experience. We don't drive, so we were happy to find that it was a short walk from Cutty Sark Station. The decor is typical for a english Pub/Restaurant, very warm and comfortable. You have the option to be seated outside along the Thames, but it was a bit chilly this day, so we were seated on the first floor by the window, where we had great views of the Thames. The staff were absolutely brilliant, friendly, fun and provided quick service. I took 1 star off because there were a few things on the menu that we wanted, but were sold out which was a bit disappointing, but the staff suggested alternatives and they were great recommendations. Check out the photos, the food portions are WELL worth the money and tastes delicious. We were very satisfied with our overall experience here and would definitely come back with our friends or family.

Cool place for a drink and some food. This would be an excellent place for a cold beer after work or other happy hour drinks. We sat at a table looking over the River. There are seats upstairs with gorgeous views. You can order in person or through scanning a QR code. Food was decent— obviously not the winningest point of the restaurant, which I think are the views and drinks.

This was an excellent location in Greenwich on the banks of the Thames and slightly away from the busy tourist trail. It is perfect for drinks or for a meal or both! The outside seating area is great to watch passers by and boats going by.
A good selection of drinks on the menu to cater for all tastes. The menu is not extensive but does have a good variety of choices and is well catered for vegan/vegetarian options.
We went for the Burger which was well prepared. The food was tasty but not the best burger I have ever had.
Service was good. Not overtly friendly but efficient.
I was also impressed by the inside space and in particular the upstairs which is a great space and ideal for views. It wasn’t being used whilst we were there, perhaps this is due to the current restrictions.
It has adapted to CV well with systems in place to keep the flow of people safe and distanced.
Overall a pleasant bar/restaurant with an ideal, prime location.

Amazing experience!
Great location, seating arrangements, service, delicious and variety of options in the food and drinks. Fullers ales were amazing rich and dark. Definitely will visit again soon.
Went without reservation but still got the table, however reservation is recommended if you want to sit in specific area.
Keep up the great work team!

Had a fantastic Sunday birthday meal here, the staff are lovely, food delicious an cocktails divine. We sat for hours with a stunning view and nothing was too much trouble for the staff, my friends little boy didn't like all the sauce on the burger , they just changed, you ordered a drink they were super speedy . My daughter bought a cake for me which they lit an delivered with 10 plates an spoons. All together a thoroughly enjoyable day will definitely be returning very soon . Thank you

Fabulous venue overlooking the Thames excellent choice of beers. Food menu really disappointing ,there were only 5 choices for a main course with one of them being an 18oz rib eye steak for £47?? - won't be back for food as limited menu which really surprised us for such a great gastro pub but certainly for a drink on the terrace.

I've celebrated my birthday with about thirty friends at this amazing place yesterday night, and I can only say thank you to the adorable, efficient, friendly and thoughtful staff (all of them, but particularly Zoe who was the sweetest assistant I could have ever asked for).
The food is excellent, the view is stunning, I had a wonderful night and I most probably become a regular client.
PS I'd be happy to get in touch with a client named Julia whom I had a nice chat with. Julia, if you read me, yours was one of the most pleasant and unexpected gifts I've ever received, and just so you know, I DO have another pasta machine, that has been broken for a while now, and I was planning to replace it!
Also, your dog is adorable.

I've had a few good visits here and the location is great, but today, even though I'd booked a table, the service was ridiculously slow. I'd booked early as we have small children but it took over an hour for the main courses to come. The food was mediocre at best and I left before finishing my meal. The over-whelmed (and extremely young) serving staff seemed helpless in the face of it.

This is amazing family place. Every time we have a great time together, delicious food and great customer service.
Helen Forbes-Green
The only thing going for it is the beautiful view . The staff barely cracked a smile and the wait was ridiculous even after pre ordering! The food was over priced for small portions. The children's pizza was no better than a cheap, supermarket one. Children cannot be expected to wait over an hour and a half for their dinner.

Lovely place! Very accommodating and friendly staff. We had the salt beef sandwich which was lovely! Good choice of wines too. Very glad his had opened on our doorstep :)

Flat beer last night and the chef is trying to be too clever.
I ordered 2 scotch eggs for me and girlfriend and got fish pie egg.
Felt like my intelligence was being tested .
Who ever heard of fish rather than sausage meat for scotch egg?
Came for a meal with friends last bank hol and menu was poor unless you paid £40 plus for rib eyed steak .
Go back to high quality basics guys .
Used to love it at the sail loft , not sure I'll return

Beautiful decor, foodwise I really do not recommend,
I've been there couple of times, from now on only for drinks and atmosfere by the river.

Fabulous food at the Sail Loft, lovely to find an interesting menu in a Greenwich pub.. Great spot by the river..... we will return.....

What a lovely little hidden gem, if you haven't tried this place, then do so and meet some friends. Definitely go again..

As a new place, they've got it going on. They may get an excellent at some point, but it's still a bit early days and a few kinks are getting worked out. The location rocks!
Mike Sarna
Staff very unhelpful trying to find a table - every table empty but "reserved". The food was ok but my Monk fish had to be the tiniest piece of fish I have ever been served at a restaurant. Waiter was nice though.
Costantina E Vincenzo Vitelli
Un bellissimo locale ,curato nei minimi particolari ,un servizio eccellente, cibo super-ottimo....uno staff meraviglioso, gentile e disponibile per qualsiasi esigenza..

Great pub by the river with good selections of gin and fish & chips. They also have live music on weekends and can get the upstairs restaurant can get very busy.

Great location for Friday night drinks. Beautiful view across the Thames. Cocktail, pint lager + 3 softies cost us £24. Didn't stay for food -- menu looked a bit limited. Service was a bit average -- barmaid didn't know how to make a cosmopolitan and when we ordered the lager topped with lime (cordial), she used lemonade instead so had to chuck it and start again.

Love the sail loft!!
A true jewel on Greenwich Thames path, perfect place to relax and have drinks after a busy day at work, Saturday brunch or a romantic dinner with stunning views, the food is Simple, healthy, but also sophisticated, beautiful decor, warm lights and lovely service.
Perfect!!

Like your food and drink served with a side order of EPIC VIEWS? You have to check out The Sail Loft!. Sitting at the water’s edge in maritime Greenwich, the floor-to-ceiling glass windows reveal incredible views across the River Thames. I paid a visit last week with some of my faves, and as the sun went down, the bright lights of the city provided a backdrop to an awesome evening of dining, drinking and discussing attractive chefs. Perfect.
