Good little place with a good service. Clean and welcoming. Looses a star as pasta wasn't as fresh as I'd expect. Fresh fresh pasta is to die for and this just seemed a bit like packet pasta. Otherwise our meal was nice and full of good flavours at a good price. I'd go again but probably try pizza next time
In the light of a high storm
Me and my mother came here after having a hard time trying to find anywhere to eat vegetarian food and thankfully there was a table just leaving as we arrived. We were seated promptly on a nice table by the window, (possibly the music is a bit loud? My mum struggles with vertigo and she did make a comment at the beginning of our meal) and we were given some fantastic options for food and the lovely front of house even said she could adjust some dishes to what id like and that was seriously so kind. I had a veggie carbonara (i cant spell) any she had a margarita pizza, both were absolutely wonderful and so filling we had to squeeze in the last bits as they reallt were so delicious. Service was fantastic and very prompt, our 2 waitors, the lady front of house and the younger man were very kind and checked back on everything. Fantastic meal, fantastic service and an fantastic price.
Thanks so much for the wonderful experience.

Wife and I dined here on Aug 30. Shared the tricolore and Italian breads starters, she had the chicken caesar and I had the saltimbocca - plus a bottle of wine. Everything was tasty, seasoned well and nice generous portions. Very attentive wait staff and priced right. Will return!

The atmosphere was amazing and the staff where great. Once the waiter realised I was lactose intolerant he went and double checked there was no butter on the breadcrumbs, there was so he replaced the meal and saved me from a bad night. Thanks again!!

Champion. Had whitebate and steak rare. All tasted fantastic! Had the meal deal so only came to £15. Better than expected, worth a punt if you are passing.

The food was delicious, excellent service. I had a Bruschetta, spinach ricotta ravioli and panna cotta. Had a very pleasant experience.

The food was suprisingly good but the service was the best thing about it (esp the Italian lady who was very attentive).

Lively small cosy restaurant. The food is also great and offers a good taste of Italian food. It is walking distance from Holborn or Covent Garden station.

Pizza is good as usual at Strada. Staff was friendly and able to accomodate 2 infants with pushchairs in the tiny restaurant.

Good service, nice food, just a bit loud by a bunch of millennials who don't know how to respect other diners.

Food was good, but portions quite small. Nice location

Good food and friendly staff. Beware stairs to the toilets are steep.

Small place but food was good and staff were pleasant

Handy for tastecard or pre-show before Peacock Theatre because its cheaper. Aside from that, not a place i would return to in a hurry. Starter was tricolore salad with unripe hard tomatoes. Arancini balls which collapsed, tasted of little and felt like frozen bulk fare. My main course was better with juicy chicken breast in a creamy mushroom sauce, however the old potatoes were hard and tasted stale. My dining friend had the pasta with chicken and creamy mushroom and whilst marginally enjoying better than her starter, felt there could have been more sauce. The front of house team were good, shame the kitchen let them down. Or was this a central kitchen dictating mediocre dishes to serve at branch level. My St Katherines Dock a-plus visit is now heavily overshadowed by this poor effort.

Great waitstaff in this busy location and decent food, but the place could do with a spruce - it felt hectic and disorganized layout wise at times with staff coping well to juggle covers. A combination of out of order & smelly loos detracted from the ambience further. I will be returning to see if I just caught them on a bad day!

One of the (many) unusual things about London that I've noticed is that they have franchised cafes. These cafes are dotted across town and I've never been tempted to try one of them because I thought they'd be the fast food versions of a proper independen

After spending all day in the library studying hard for my Accounting test, I wanted to have a reward, then I went to Strada, instinctually thinking that they would have a nice pizza.

Unfortunately, it was exactly the opposite. I ordered some bruschette as a starter. Tomatoes were cut too big for a Bruschetta, so I did not like them. Then, it was the time for the main and I simply asked for a Margherita.
Worst pizza in my life. I forced myself to eat at least half of it as I was starving but I left as soon as I could as I was really disappointed.

Strada may not be the best italian restaurant in the vicinity but it definitely delivers to the level it can. As they say any pizza is good pizza even bad pizza is good pizza. Its location is rather convenient and is great for that Italian fix near university. However they are quite pricey but on weekdays they run the lunch menu for 8 GBP and you can have a pizza, a beverage and salad on the side. They run it from 12pm to 4pm which is pefect.

The good thing is that they are flexible, if you want a pizza with toppings of your choice they can do it. I ordered a margarita pizza which grilled chicken pieces and my friend ordered the same but which salami as topping. The portions were quite huge and satisfying. The pizza crust of my friends pizza was a bit soggy to be honest but it tasted every bit pepperoni. The grilled chicken added a perfect accomplice and was rather filling. The other items on their menu were probably the same as what you would get in other restaurants. There wasnt much space left for dessert so cannot help you there.

But go if you're really hungry and in the mood for Italian near that area. Otherwise really not that special.

Cost- 24 pounds for 2 with 1 beverage

Strada never fails to disappoint with the food! It has such a good range of options...
This branch is slightly quiet and the atmosphere isn't so great... It's pretty cold inside... but who can complain when the food tastes so good!
Great vegetarian range!
Lots of range and options..
Must try the pizzas here!
