Always love coming here- really chilled atmosphere, good selection of drinks including craft beers and the food is delicious! I haven't tried anything of the various salads yet as the pizzas and burgers are always a win. Maybe next time....

Really nice place with currently staff. Lunch menu's are the barging with starter, pizza and dessert for just 8 quids. Not very busy in the lunchtime.

I stumbled upon this place last week, they had just started a speakeasy cocktail night so thought I'd give it a go and I am so happy I did. Myself and my Friends had the nicest most relaxed evening and the cocktails were delicious plus the place was so cosy and chilled.
Great choice of cocktails, great music and cute little black and white films playing in the background.
If you are looking for relaxed yummy drinks with friends with friendly staff and a fun atmosphere its the place to be in Highgate! We will all be going back again!

Came here with friends for lunch on a Sunday. Beautiful interior. Cosy and homey, with rustic natural wood tables and friendly service. We got pizzas and sides. Absolutely delicious. Proper oven-fired thin pizzas. Very accommodating with gluten free, veggie & vegan options! Good beers on tap too! Would 100% recommend.

My friend and I went for burgers on Saturday and agreed they were some of the best we'd ever had - all the toppings are free (definitely recommend the American burger cheese on the cheeseburger) and the burgers themselves were clearly very high quality. Add in some of the Cajun fries and it made for a delicious meal! It was also our waitress' first day and she was very sweet and helpful, even though she was still learning. Overall good food and good vibes!

Food is good quality and decent portions highly recommended and will go again. I ordered the papa cheese burger with everything but jalapenos and a portion of Cajun fries.
Burger was excellent and very tasty and cooked nicely. Fries were tasty but not very spicy for Cajun. Pizzas looked good too will try one on the future

Papa Del’s is a fantastic place to go if you want to fill your stomach with good food and your body and mind with great, positive energy.
The restaurant looks clean, fun with great music and service from the lovely member of staff who have an amazing attitude and big smile on their faces every second.
Me and my partner loved the burgers and we would recommend the place to all our friends and family!

Great place! Delicious food, delivered quickly. We had burgers, fries and a Bad Brownie and all was very good.
Ordered through their website, which was easy and even earned me loyalty points!
Had to call the restaurant, too to ask a question and the customer service was great. Really recommend it!

We had a wonderful late afternoon at this restaurant. Our four-cheese pizza and lentil soup were perfect and our triple-chocolate brownie was amazing. Caring and friendly staff. All our wishes came true :)

I had begun to lose faith it takeaways in north London. Until now !!!!. Bam a taste sensation in a box. Has to be said one of the nicest pizza I have ever had. The fresh topping and beautifully cooked base had me wishing I had ordered more.
And then I see with my delivery, a small brown bag with homemade cookies still warm from the oven. Wow just take my money please.

I popped into this place for a quick bite while working in the area and it was such a great find. Really personable service that felt more like being welcomed into someone's home. My pizza was delicious and I'll definitely be back to try more.

As a family we use to love this place with our four older children.... we were nostalgically looking forward to leffe blondes and a rustic sharing board of italian meats and cheeses with pizza bread, both of which are no longer on the menu. We went with our 1st (23 yo) and 5th child (5 yo)- They didn't have any napolitana sauce- which is the only sauce option on their kid's menu- offered arrabiata instead (too spicy), they brought the wrong fries and then rather stropilly showed us their order docket as if that proved we didn't know what we had ordered and then never brought us the cajun ones we were expecting, they had no wine glasses so served our vino in beer glasses instead. Then the kids dessert option is a cookie- but they informed us that they had no milk or white chocolate cookies left and gave us a dark chocolate one..... All in all it was disappointing!

I just loove the whole place!! I was working one late night in the area, so i thought why not try it as it has great reviews. So i went, no word of a lie, the pizza was amazing! All the staff was so friendly... some even cute lol... specially the pizza Guy.. he makes it bursting with spices and flavour.. I loved it so much that I travelled from kingston just to taste it again lol. I would definitely recommend it.. tip- try the spicy chicken pizza!

When Deliveroo failed me, Papa Del's came through. Delicious! Thank you team PD!!

Got a phone call from the manager of this restaurant last night telling me to call them first instead of leaving a very honest 1 star review on JustEat. Probably the most unprofessional thing to do phoning a paid customer for leaving a review, a review which as a paying customer I am way more than entitled to leave. Food quality 1 stars out of 6 Delivery time 1 stars out of 6 Takeaway service 1 stars out of 6 Your review I paid £14 for a scrooge filled burger and a milkshake, I'm the c*** here. The audacity of phoning me when I'm simply stating the facts being that (a) I paid 14 quid (again) for a poorly filled burger that looked like it was made in the dark and a very delicious milkshake and (b) therefore I must be a cunt, which in itself is a simple self statement to my own hungry stupidity. Then the manager proceeded to whine about how I should have called them so they can rectify it to which I recounted previous orders which I received which were shitty, where I did phone in and complain and I was met with attitude and zero rectification to my order yet I still chose to stupidly continue to order from this restaurant despite being previously dissatisfied. I doubt many customers will see this as this page only has 179 likes and I'm sure it'll be deleted but well done Papa Del's for your professionalism. Calling customers to tell them to talk to you first because you don't want any poor review is a massive bitch move and highly highly unprofessional. If someone leaves a bad review it just means you failed meeting their order, so get over yourselves and do your job properly. Thank you

We tried garlic bread as appei and veggie pizza. The garlic bread was just ok (not sure if I go there again will order the same) and the pizza was fine. Staff were cute and friendly. It's worth trying it for once.
By the way.. the espresso was not good. More it was a small Americano than espresso ..

Very hard to fault this place. After finishing a particularly arduous work shift, decided to treat myself with delivered takeout. Papa Del's didn't disappoint. Indulged in the bacon cheeseburger which arrived in a paper bag adrift a sea of delicious cajun chips. Washed down with a coke and finished up with a vanilla shake, I was utterly satisfied. For a 'treat yo'self' moment, I'd definitely recommend Papa Del's.

Poor value for money and weak service reduce this truly innovative burger joint from getting the coveted 5/5.

They have an entire burger section called "Feeling Brave...?" which have some fantastic burgers- the PB&J is awe-inspiring (but maybe could be even better if they use chilli jam to add spice...?)

Come if you're in Highgate and want a good burger and beer.

Papa Del's, while not setting the world on fire, will also make a good pizza. Their beer selection has recently been vastly improved by the addition of Beavertown Neck Oil and there new range of burgers. I had the chicken burger with extra bacon and despite being far too large to cram into my mouth it was delicious.

A solid choice for an after work dinner or winding down Friday night.

Bad customer service. I complained about the toppings in my pizza. Not getting the pizza right is fine, everyone makes mistakes. But when I got back to my table, the guy who made the pizza kept on giving me bad looks from behind he counter while I kept on eating. NOT COOL

RUBBISH! RUBBISH!! RUBBISH!!!
Ordered £80 worth of takeaway pizza for a large group over the phone. An hour after I'd ordered, they phoned me back and said that 2 of the things I'd ordered don't exist. ??!! Yet they were on their menu. Weird. So I changed the order. Eventually -2 hours after I'd placed the order - our food arrives. No apology, no offer of a discount etc! The food itself was appalling. A congealed mess stuck to the inside of the soggy pizza boxes. Do yourselves a favour and give this place a miss.1/10

Disappointing. We chose this restaurant because it was listed as our closest on the taste card app (which gives you 2 for 1 on main courses). Unfortunately, after ordering our food, we were told they did not accept taste cards! The house wine was rough, beer wasn't much better. Service slow, despite a half empty restaurant. Toilets needed cleaning. The main disappointment was when our food came as it was cold and the pizza dough raw underneath. I had parma ham on mine, which instead of thin cured slices, came out looking (and tasting) like thick raw bacon.

All in all, not a great meal. Won't be going back.

Awful awful awful. Paid online for a delivery at 6:30 food did not arrive!! (not late) full stop did not arrive!!!!! called them at 9:00 and they where awful and i quote " we are very busy, check your bank Wednesday if there is no refund call us then"

NOT EVEN A SORRY

By far the most horrible ignorant people i have ever dealt with!!
Just imagine if we dined in! god only knows!!

Went for breakfast with my partner after looking at the menu riding past on the bus for many months. I had american style pancakes with fruit, she had pancakes with eggs bacon and maple. Firstly they weren't amaerican style they were french crepes. Secondly my fruit consisted of half an old banana, half a brown and mushy pear and half a sour old apple. And with a strange handful of sultanans on the side. Horrible! My partner asked for her egg well done which the waiter didnt understand. He didnt understand hard or very cooked either. So she ended up with runny yolks. The coffee was disgusting, mine was burnt and hers tasted like it had come from a self service machine. Both had uht milk! And both of us had dodgy tummies for the next couple of days. A horrible experience all round!

Disappointing - even with the new specials. I think the fact this place hasn't managed to fix the light in the gents for over 6 months tells you all you need to know. It's all a bit run down and shabby.

We used to go for the £4 pizza, but these days the toppings are so miniscule it's not worth it. My olive and goats cheese pizza was only 1/3rd covered in regular cheese, with 2 chunks of goats cheese and 2 measly olives.

We tried the new specials recently - an £8 steak pizza. Really disappointing, a few bits of tough meat on a boring base.

The staff are friendly, I'm not a massive fan of the communal tables, toilets are a state.

£4 special not so special. I've always been attracted by the A4 sheets of paper in the window advertising their £4 pizza/pasta, so one evening following a pleasant sunny evening in a West London beer garden, I stumbled in with my ever-forgiving other half.

On this particular night, the only beers on the menu were dark ales, probably tortured into fermenting in a dungeon by Belgian monks, with an exceedingly high alcohol content. Not a bad drop, all in all, but notable for the lack of paler lagers. The tables and chairs have been made out of thick, knurled wood and are communal. In busy times, I imagine that pairs of strangers sit together and attempt to avoid eye contact with other couples. It was not busy when I went.

I think for the £4 menu, I may have expected just a little more than Papa Dels delivered, but I don't think I was expecting too much. There is the choice of pizza - cheese and tomato with any two toppings, or pasta with a choice of sauce. I had pizza, with olive and artichoke, and penne arrabbiata was also ordered. The pizza - 10", crispy base, tomato sauce, two olives and two small pieces of artichoke. I didn't realise that two toppings meant that there would only be two representatives of the chosen two toppings. It was like cheese on toast with a surprise flavour for (almost) two mouthfuls. The penne was equally uninspiring to look at and although the sauce is supposed to be angry, it's also supposed to have flavour. It was just a small pile of red heat on top of naked pasta.

I got two cookies just before I settled the £14 bill and it made me wish I'd just come in and got those. The cookies were good.

And I realise that the restaurant isn't going to come out all guns blazing for their £4 menu - but if I'd enjoyed the offer, then I'd go in for a full price meal at another time. Just to be clear, I won't be.

Two huge wooden tables and long benches make up Papa Del's communal dining area! There are also a few window seats! Papa Del's has a very natural feel to it. The tables are uneven so that slate placemats are used to keep the plates level! It was nice to have such a dining area with all the wooden surroundings! The painted walls and wall lights gave a soft ambiance! The food was cooked fresh in the open kitchen and so we were waiting a short while for it! The Vegetariana pizza had a thin crispy base and the tomato sauce was tasty. It was topped with tomato, mozzarella, sweetcorn, onions, peppers and mushrooms. We had an additional topping of aubergine! The vegetables were all cooked perfectly! The Penne Arrabiata was a big portion! The pasta was topped with a sauce of garlic, tomato, olives and chilli! The sauce had a good flavour and it definitely had a spicy kick to it! The staff were friendly, but there was a slight language barrier going on. A few times when we asked the staff quest
