I saw that there was cronuts at this place but they stopped selling them. So we ordered other pastries instead. I enjoyed my hot chocolate and cinnamon bun. Service was pretty fast but it wasn't a busy time. Not sure if we'll be able to find a table if it was busier since the place is quite small.

Always a pleasure to eat here. They know how to make good espresso, and their own bakery downstairs is probably the best within miles. Takeaway prices are slightly cheaper, if you prefer a picnic in Hyde Park, which is just a block away.

Lovely cafe, have had lunch here several times. Great tasting fresh & healthy salads served with a slice of the best seeded rye in London!
Fabulous cakes, just too spoilt for choice!
My only reservation is the service, it's a bit slow and one waiter in particular gets very mixed up and forgetful, I've seen him here the last few times and it's a bit of a pain.
But food tastes fantastic and I'll still be going back for more!

On the one hand it is a quiet bakery where you can take your time enjoying something sweet with good company. On the other hand I am glad they have those chocolate collections which are quite appropriate for a present. I like the white chocolate bars and when I give one of them away, it is always welcomed with a smile. Who does not love chocolate after all? Especially when it is beautifully wrapped. I recommend the place. If you visit once, the pastry and the friendly service will make you return for more.

Fresh pastries and great coffee. Take the time to sit down and enjoy!

This little bakery is just delightful. I often stop by to grab something sweet for breakfast or a batch of muffins for home. Everything is always fresh and delicious. When I enter it smells like Heaven inside :)

Best high afternoon tea in London! The bread is just simply amazing, the best I've ever tried. Book in advance and go there for a fun and tasty afternoon.Great selection of teas.

Pastries to die for - from pistachio buns to hazelnut chocolate croissants. Great for a quick coffee or a drawn out breakfast. Limited options beyond pastries but the chia seed pudding and granola are sufficient. Quaint ambience with some outdoor space. Pick up some bread and chocolate bars from around the world on your way out

Great local bakery. They have something for every occasion - you can choose something for breakfast or pick up something sweet (all the chocolate desserts are amazing). It's definitely worth the drive and I recommend the place.

Outstanding hot chocolate: very rich and tasty. I had a pain au chocolat with it which didn't impress me. The chocolate in the pasty was too hard and the dough and chocolate didn't complement each other well, maybe there was too much yeast? Not sure. This is definitely a go to place if you are a hot chocolate lover. Order one and sit outside.

Cocomaya sounds like the name of some swanky nightclub right? However, this review is about Cocomaya- a luxury bakery in luxurious Bayswater. Arriving at Cocomaya I was greeted by a friendly French lady. I asked her what the favourite items were. She pointed to quite a few things, including a mini flourless chocolate cake. It looked like it had a tiramisu topping and chocolate sponge bottom.

Cocomaya is hidden away off Edgware Road and is mostly known for its incarnation of a cronut - a hybrid croissant/doughnut which they call a cro-dough (so as not to go against trademark regulations). However, as i got there at about 4pm, all the cro-doughs I liked the look of had gone, so I went for a MASSIVE cinnamon roll instead. You could tell they'd sat out all day as it was pretty dry, although it really was delicious. The service was pretty poor too, especially as it was pretty empty. I'd plump for a takeaway cro-dough next time.

We stopped off here on a cold day looking for a hot chocolate to warm ourselves up. This is a little place with cute wooden decor & mismatched, vintage crockery. The hot chocolate was lovely, extremely rich and made from valrhona chocolate, it was nice but quite sickly so I'm glad I opted for the small. We also shared one of their famous cronuts, it was an apple & berry number - it was delicious, light & sweet. If your in the area pop on in for a sweet treat & a hot drink.

I had the lovely experience of trying this place. The hot chocolate is awesome and out of the world. Of course this place is a little bit expensive but at the end it is all worth it. The service is slow because this one is packed most of the times. All in all it is a wonderful experience to be here and would love to come back here again.

This place was a wonderful experience, mainly because of it's excellent food quality. This is basically a bakery which has a lovely ambience with a beautiful presentation. I enjoyed my chocolate cinnamon cake which was just delicious accompanied by earl grey tea which was awesome as well. Overall, we had a great time and would love to visit here again.

This place is perfect for high tea and spending a nice evening with your friends. Though my friend did not appreciate the clotted cream, I wasn't very disappointed by the overall experience. Their baked items were good and tasty. I would definitely return to this place for some more delicious food.

To begin with the service, the place is so far the best with a wide selection of cakes, pies and many more variety of pastries to offer from. It is a pleasurable little place offering baked gems! Also worth mentioning is the service, you cannot stop raving about the best staff and their attentiveness! way to go!

This place provided seating outside and that too with heat! This is cute, little French bakery full of sweets and bakery items displayed on a counter, enticing you towards itself. I had a chocolate banana muffin and croissant which were delectable and very refreshing. Their coffee and hot chocolate are also very good. There is not a lot of seating space inside the bakery. However, do try this place once!

This place is just wonderful with its clean and classy interiors. The place is tastefully arranged to keep things interesting. All food is freshly cooked and the desserts are so delectable, they melt in your mouth. I visit this place a lot and would definitely come back.

I and a friend of mine wanted to try croconut from Cocomaya, and certainly did, twice.
Earlier that day we tried croconut from Wild & Coffee placed near Holborn in the first half of the day.
For a croconut, it was quite huge and required a great jaw munching to take in but i assure you that it's pretty good and you guys will like it. Being a pastry with doughnut soft layers having a few drops of cream, it definitely is very delicious and to top it all, the lemon glaze and the scattered petals all over it takes your mind back to the spring days.
As far as pricing is concerned, it might shake your budget a little. (3.70 GBP)
Moreover we were stumped after having to match up to a bill of 4.50 GBP. It turned out to be the most expensive croconut we have ever tried.
The place serves good croconut if you really are keen in saving money instead of spending it in Wild & Coffee.
Every penny counts.

I had the most amazing cronuts of all time. I can go on and on with how perfectly they were made.
The staff was okay , not too great maybe because of the fact that this place was very busy when I went in .
I liked the atmosphere too. All of this comes for slightly overpriced range but according to me if you want to have most amazing cronuts then you are not supposed to miss this place.

My friend came across this place after searching for cronut serving bakeries and after reading great reviews found out this joint has probably the best variety and range in all of the city.I came here specifically to try the cronuts and was only slightly let down .This was because the bakery is hugely popular and by the late afternoon when we dropped in ,only one flavor was available.
Though the only flavor left ,it was dashingly heavenly and i can still remember the awesome taste in my mouth.
The decor is a combination of post modern and grunge ,it has a personality of its own.The service of the staff was also hospitable and humble.
Would rush to try more flavors for sure!
