We stumbled upon this place after another restaurant nearby was full. Got great seat in the window. Pizzas were delicious and cooked perfectly, service was super friendly, and prices were amazing for this part of London with a couple of offers thrown in. Highly recommended.

Lovely people.. amazing pizza. Had a brilliant night at the comedy cellar inside underneath

Lovely little Italian restaurant on a narrow lane running parallel to Drury Lane, ideal for a meal before a going to a show. Super friendly staff serving fabulous food at a very reasonable price. Would highly recommend. Little comedy club in the cellar was an added bonus.

This was on a Groupon voucher where a pizza and a glass of wine/beer was included. The pizza was ok....service wasn't the best but the comedy show more than made up for it. The show had various comedians who each brought a different brand of comedy...it was worth the price for the comedy alone. The venue was smaller than I expected but it made for a great atmosphere.

We visited cafe mode at 8 o'clock tonight and had an absolutely wonderful evening. The staff was very friendly. The menu is on the smaller side but had everything we were looking for and was delicious. If we hadn't found it on folk I would never have found out about this place. They also have a comedy club which I will definitely be returned to see. Very reasonable price.

Good good, staff with soh and free drinks, all some of my favourite things and all available at cafe mode. They looked after our party of 6 like we were family as we celebrated my mum's 70th birthday. Will definitely return

Went here recently on a Groupon deal. The waiters were pleasant but felt like they wanted to serve us super quickly! Not quite sure why, maybe we were second priority to the paying customers upstairs. Pizza options were limited to 2 choices and drinks were extra but we didn't mind paying. Overall I enjoyed the food but it lasted less than 5 minutes before it was gone (ok I was hungry but could have easily eaten another).

Wonderful little restaurant in Theatreland but not at Theatreland prices! Very good prices and in a good location for eating before a West End show, which is what we did. I ordered the spinach and ricotta cannelloni which looked wonderful but it was far too spinachy for me (sounds silly but it really was all spinach with a single layer covering of pasta, and I prefer a mix with smaller shredded spinach, just for texture, and being pregnant it needed to be right), but it was no problem for them, the lovely waiter (possibly the owner/manager) was happy to change my order for no extra charge, which I thought was brilliant. Had the margarita pizza instead which was absolutely amazing, so tasty! Would definitely eat here again when we’re back in London.

We went there for a birthday lunch on a Saturday. It was early afternoon and not that busy. We shared a dough ball starter which were delicious and a generous serving. We both had pizza for mains which I noticed were smaller than when I have dined here before but it didn't matter, the size was actually perfect as I felt sated not over full after I'd eaten it. The dough was delicious and I had the 4 cheese pizza which was very cheesy and cooked to perfection. My friend had the mushroom pizza which she said was fantastic too. We had two glasses of wine each which were reasonably priced for central London. My friend had a cappuccino afterwards which looked good, although not really an after meal drink, more of a morning drink. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. The only slight issue we had is that the WiFi connection wasn't really working so it took us a while for our debit cards to work on the machine when paying. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you're a pizza lover and it accepts Gourmet Society cards if you have one so you get money off the food.

Delicious food! Probably the best hummos I've ever had, and the 15 hour roasted pork was amazing!

Outstanding experience at Café Mode. I have been eating at Café Mode, Endell Street for the last five years and cannot speak highly enough of the quality of the service and the food here. The staff are always extremely welcoming, friendly and efficient. Service is very personal and speedy, and nothing is ever too much trouble for the well-trained staff. The management and staff always remember me and seem genuinely pleased to see me. Portions are very generous and I have always found the dishes to be very reasonably priced. I have brought several friends here and none of them has ever been disappointed. They have all commented on how lovely the atmosphere in this restaurant is. The décor is smart and very tasteful, and the music creates a lovely feel. I have tried various starters, main meals and desserts and have found them delicious, without exception. There is not a single criticism I could make of this restaurant. I would urge you to go!

Poor in every sense but the service. Booked on a tastecard and told this was only valid on the rip off £30 set menu. Agree with previous reviews trash frozen food, feels like a mugging with a mandatory service charge and sly attempts to rack up the bill. Cannot recommend it and will never grace it again.

Busy and friendly but that.... Busy and friendly, But that's where it stops in terms of any positives , food was very poor, tuna was dry even though I asked for rare twice, garlic bread, hard to get wrong was dry and costly, our party of four all thought the same and two of the party were children. Give it a wide berth, unless your taste buds have left town! !!

Extremely nasty. Staff friendly but everything else to be avoided at all costs. Horrid frozen food that makes iceland's premium range seem quality. Avoid.

Love cafe mode. Cafe mode is very popular for good reason, great value for covent garden, lively atmosphere and delicious food( try the goats cheese bruschetta ,to die for),service is friendly and for once no-one is rushing you to finish and leave. love it!!!

Felt like we'd been mugged!. We went to Cafe Mode last Saturday afternoon and had a starter and a couple of burgers.

Starter of Doughballs was okay, but noting great.

We had two "gourmet" burgers for mains. Burgers were overcooked and nothing special. The french fries were okay.

To look at the menu we were expecting a bill of around £28, through various crafty additions, (£3 for the bottle of water on the table, extra £2 for goats cheese on a burger which came with cheese etc plus a manditory service charge) they had upped it to £43.

The Service was okay but not worth a manditory 12.5%! Service was brisk and prompt but gave the overwhelming impression that we were being a bit rushed...

Even in Covent Garden £43 for two (small) beers, some bread and a couple of overdone burgers isn't normally £43. We left with the feeling of having been robbed.

My advice - if you're ever tempted - DON'T - Go to McDonalds for a burger and the Porterhouse for a drink! You'll be happier and your bank manager will thank you!

Hidden gem, could be more cosy. Fantastic choice before a theatre visit, a little bit offside and therefore not overcrowded. Italian food (the salmon pasta and the goat cheese pizza with sun-dried tomatoes were delicious), burger, and amazing deserts (warm apple pie recommended).

The seating could be better; some tables within the restaurant are nice, others less. When they dimmed the light and lightened the candles, it became more friendly. A few tables are available outside.

The staff is very friendly and helpful.
