We recently tried this place, and the food was amazing. The spice level is really hot, so make sure to tell beforehand to make it less. The food is authentic and flavourful.
We recently visited again and tried the dal tadka and garlic naan apart form our regular paneer curry we eat. The portion sizes are good too. Both were delicious. I highly recommend the place.
It has a good ambience and the food is extremely good.

4 of us went for dinner on a Saturday evening and it was not crowded. We ordered Mango Lassi, Gobi 65 and Vegetarian Biryani all were simply superb and just mouth watering. It's the best in town. I tasted Gobi 65 in many places however this was the best. I would love to recommend others to try once. The restaurant is on the main road of the east ham hence it's easily accessible. They have both veg and non veg options. However non veg options are more compared to veg.

One of the best Indian restaurants i have ever tasted in London, i have been looking for hyderabadi taste in ages and finally i got it and i will come repeatedly.
Thanks

"Hyderabadi Spice in East Ham offers a delightful dining experience with its delicious Dum biryani , Chicken 65 and haleem. The aromatic spices in the biryani transport your taste buds to the heart of Hyderabad, while the haleem is a comforting and flavorful treat. The combination of flavors and textures at this restaurant is truly a culinary delight. I highly recommend trying these dishes when you visit." Must try Haleem,,Well maintained restaurant since 15 years,,Manager was very attentive and well directive, please do visit

Excellent food. One of the best India restaurants in the area. Decor is a bit worn out.
**2/9/21 - updated my review to 5 stars as they have now refurbished the restaurant. I previously took one star off as the decor needed TLC which they have done now. I have added a couple of pics for this. They have new tables and chairs which now make this a 5 star place. The food here is always amazing. The kebabs are great. Pahadi kebab is one of our favourites. The Hyderabadi murgh ka salan is a good chicken curry. The haleem is very nice as well

Good Indian food, nice and cozy atmosphere. One of the few genuine Indian restaurants in East Ham. Try the Chicken Patiala...
Shabbir Akailvi
I walked in today to break my fast and ordered a Haleem. These guys were so generous, they brought me other items of chicken and didn't even charge me for the extra items. Their hospitality is highly commendable and I strongly recommend everybody to check them out if they're in the area. Both food and their customer service were beyond awesome. 🤩🥳

Tried chicken briyani which costs 8£. Taste was good, not that spicy, but had very few chicken pieces and quantity also less which was really disappointing considering the price.

The Best Egg Biryani I have ever had. Must try!
Souvik Mazumder
Food was good but the attitude of the staff specially the person in the counter was ridiculously arrogant.
Nyshan Khan
Awesome food.Must try.the biryani gravies lollipop spring roll. Food is excellent as per price.people expecting much more and have all negative shit to say can eat food from Novotel, radisson etc if they can afford. Which I think won't even be that authentic Indian. So don't just eat food to puke negative shit but eat food and be grateful as some people are not even that lucky to taste what you can.
Kaleem Shar
Service was good. Ordered Haleem and chicken karhai, but was bit disappointed. Both didn't taste as well. Not going back again.

Average. Dum Biryani was good. Rest in tikka and gravy too much of color being used. Everything look deep red.
Raf Hussain
We ordered two curry's both not very tasty too much salt
Shamima Hasan Sumi
They are no more even close to what they used to be! Even my habi will do a better biriyani if he ever try than their special hydreabadi dum lamb biriyani!

Top place for Dum Briyani and spicy non vegetarian dishes, visited couple of time during my recent London visit. This is one I will recommend to all my fnds living or visiting London

This is the place if you are looking for authentic indian flavour of any dish and go easy on your wallet. We’ve have been going to this place whenever we get a chance, take always and even made a whole big two separate take away for a starter and main course on my daughters birthday both of which were delivered quick and hot. Must recommended dishe is Biryani ; Naan are good soft and crisp; lamb chicken and fish starters are wonderful special mention is Amritsari fish tikka and Lamb seekh. Don’t miss the indo Chinesse and desserts !!
Lion Heart
Hyderabadi Spice!

Great biryani, though you can find other places with bigger serving and cheaper price. They didn’t have plain lassi at the time, so that was a disappointment.

Good taste though with the biryani.

3 stars!

Great Hyderabadi food. One of the better Hyderabadi cuisine eateries in East Ham. Service also excellent. Small place with cosy atmosphere.
We had visited in the winter and the heating was a bit low...besides that everything was perfect.

Smell inside the restaurant was not good. Maybe the table we got was near to washroom or maybe the people sitting next to us ordered some bad smelly food. We decided to change the table and thankfully it was not smelly. We ordered 4 items and all were very bad in taste.
Tandoori butter roti: First of all instead using normal maida they have used the elephant maida which was not good in color and instead butter it seems like they have used oil due to which smell from roti was not good.
Chicken chetinad and kadhai paneer: Too much oily and it seemed like they put oil after cooking the chicken and paneer. Chicken was also very chew.
Paneer shishkala: It was nice.

My Team took me over here as I had been craving for Indian food for long. A little short on space however the food is excellent!!!!!

Chicken Kebabs are the best!!

Paneer chilly, Nizami Chops were equally tasty!!

This place is a paradise for food lovers. We had to wait for almost half an hour but later realised it was totally worth it.
It has lovely ambience, great food and reasonable prices.
We ordered Chicken for starter, Mutton for main course along with c naan and lachha parantha.

The portion size was pretty decent and was enough for two people. The chikan malai tikka was excellent. Just as you bite into it, you can taste the juices and it melts into your mouth. Both the dishes had just the right amount of spice. Mutton rwas also delicious. It was cooked to perfection and was quite soft. The r naam was a bit tight though
. Lachha parantha was soft from inside and had the right amount of crunch on the outside. I would love to come back to this place and try other dishes too.

Must visit

Went on to satisfy from Indo chinese cravings at the hyderabadi spice. We ordered panner chilli, chicken lollipop, schzewan rice and veg manchurian. The paneer wasnt cooked well and lacked the taste. Chicken lollipop was perfect cooked served with spicy sauce. Schzewan rice and manchurian didnt upset aswell.

Chicken Biryani - 3/5
Strictly average taste. It was more of dry rice and very little masala to add to the taste. Can improve.

Bhatti Chicken - 4/5
Extremely good. It actually has the Bhatti style taste.

Service - 3/5
Casual way of service.

Ambience - 3/5

Cleanliness - 4/5

Chicken curry was terrible and the naan was super dry. Staff were very rude and unfriendly upon hearing our conversation about the terrible food. Ill mannered staff. Wouldn't recommend this place.
Ram Raju.
Good place with very reasonable prices in London. We had so much food but the bill is very reasonable. We ordered chicken 65, chilli chicken, Hyderabad biryani, panner tikka , kadhi chicken with some parata and chilly cheese non’s.
Food is not spicy but its decent. Good place to fill your tummy with some good non veg starters 😊

Good food. Reminds you of the taste back home.
Loved the Lamb Chops, Chicken lollipop. The Achari Gosh is something that you come back for ... Always. Apart form this you always look forward to seeing is the service and management, no complaints there. Their operations are smooth and put a smile on your face.

Will recommend this place.

Worst food. Gave very old meat. If you prefer to have good food, don't go to this restaurant.

Briyani was also worst.

This restaurant wont last longer if they follow the same quality.

The food is hit and miss. This was my third visit, but I won't be returning again. The service is so incredibly rude that it is actually quite funny. I asked for a knife (because who cuts chicken with a spoon?) and the waiter actually let out a loud sigh. We had to physically get up to get the attention of the waiter (there was only one other table of customers). The food was average at best. My friend couldn't eat his chicken kadai as he said it was just full of chilli and no other flavour. The chicken 65 was lukewarm and not piping hot as it should have been. The lamb chops were okay, but had hardly any meat on them and for £8 a portion of five are a rip off. The paneer makhani was okay as were the naan breads. For better food and service I would go somewhere else on the East Ham high street. The one time I did have biryani it was overcooked, dry and definitely not fresh. Avoid.

Visited with on of my friend who stays near by. This is a good Indian food restaurant. Biryani was very good .. I had a good Biriyani after long time that time.
Must visit place if you are a Biriyani lover and in London .

A taste of India in London!

I used to visit this place regularly when I stayed in London, one of my favourites.
The Dum Special Hyderabadi biriyani here tastes great, right amount of spices - not too spicy, has 2 boiled eggs and the chicken pieces are quite big too. The quantity is very good actually, good enough for 2 people when you are ordering a side.

I would recomment the Methi Malai masala Chicken as side, not only does it taste amazing but the aroma of methi just makes the dish even better. Also go for the Sweet Lassi - yumm :)

Its not too heavy on the pocket too - so highly recommended. One of the best biriyani joints in London.
Gaurav Sawhney
Food in the restaurant is rich, a tad on the spicy side (thats when the staff said it was "medium") but tasty.

We went here for lunch, orderded a mix of veg/non-veg dishes including biryani, mostly the ones which were restaurant preferred and they all they all turned to be good.

The service was fast so all good thrre.

I would say that this restaurant is good for indian dishes, curries, chicken biryani etc and is not too expensive.

Ankur Jain
As Indian as it can get.
One of the best Indian food ever had in London in 2 years i hv spent here.

Space is a bit cramped, but food makes up for this.
Amit Kumar
If you are a non-vegetarian and looking for Indian foods in East Ham, this is undoubtedly the best!!!
In chicken, nothing disappoints you here, from 'Bhatti Ka Murgh' to 'Methi Malai Chicken' , everything is just too good. Also, I have heard from people and as well as witnessed nothing is as popular as 'Lamb Biryani' here.
Lastly, a special mention to all the staffs, they are gentle, courteous, friendly and overall amazing service every time I visited this place.
Keep up the good work!!
Tripti Charan
Nice place to have Indian food.

Tried their Dum Special Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani 🍗🍚- Not as expected.. Just okay..
Machi Amritsari 🐋🐟🐠 is good.. Chicken 65 is okay..🍗🍗
KAUSTAV SARKAR
If you visit the place... You have to have their special biryani.. It's enough for two.... But you shouldn't go for some authentic dishes..cz they might disappoint you if you have landed from India.
Vishal Vivek Jacob
Food is okay. Little expensive n portions too are very small.
Currys r good but biriyani is below average.
And please not even close to Hyderabad I food.
Piali
Nice restaurant..lovely food..authenticated hyderabadi biriyani...naan...everything is just yummy..staffs are friendly too.among everything that we ordered wt i liked most is gulab jamun...omg it was soft n toooo tasty

When you enter this place you won't be buoyed by the ambience or the lacklustre appearance but wait for the food and it all starts to make sense. The chicken tikka biryani is awesome and is my staple whenever I visit. Another favourite is the pudina paneer tikka. The murg makhani is average but you can mop it with a tasty naan if you are up for it.

Finally, if you understand Hindi, these guys play bollywood music from the late 80s or mid 90s and that has a strange charm to it. I don't know if it's by design or they don't have another record but whatever might be the case, it fits the setting perfectly.

Hyderabadi Spice is highly recommended especially for that chicken tikka biryani!
Mohammed Mubin
Nice place in london for Moghulia dish.....Biryani, Nizami Gosh, and Chinese Chicken 65.. with naan roti... awaesome food in English country for Mumbaikar :)
Shetty
Best place in East London for authentic hyderbadi biriyani. Would also recommend the lamb chops.
Nothing extra ordinary about their service or customer service. Go for the food and nothing else.
Anjaneya Das
The Haleem is very good, makes me nostalgic about the good old Hyderabad days each time! The curries are good but not the best in London. The biryani isn't typically hyderabadi (it's more tandoori chicken on white pulao), wish they'd make it more authentic.
Ishan
Awesome biryanis, both in quality and quantity. Do accompany the biryani with the different deliciously prepared non vegetarian curries. It's 'the place' to get the best biryanis around in East Ham.
Richa
Wonderful food.. i had vegetarian there once.. though staff behaviour was not very appealing but nice food
Ganni Krishna
This place is a disgrace to Hyderabadi food!! The Biryani may just get away for a 3* on a scale of 10. The rest of the curries are absolutely CRAP.... Try ordering the Adraki Chicken & Chicken masala...exactly the same....

I have been to this place a few times since it has opened, hoping the food would improve.... It has certainly gone bad to worse!

AVOID... better places to go around...

Food tastes awesome! service is very quick! Quantities are huge! Wish they deliver our of 3 miles radius :)

Went with friends and ordered more starters than main course. Started was awesome both veg as well as non veg!! Really enjoyed the evening both with friends and the food. At the end the bill was so normal even after ordering so much. So thumps up for the starters!!!

Kick ass Biryani and massive portions. I always go for the chicken biryani. Nice succulent pieces and the rice is always cooked to perfection with the right amount of spices. The food has been consistent and I used to pack food from here atleast once a month. I am not a big fan of East ham but I didnt mind taking the tube all the way from Central London as the briyani will get you craving all the time. The first few times i always went back to the tried and tested dishes as I did not want to experiment and get disappointed later. But a friend of mine got me hooked on to the Haleem and to be honest i liked it better when compared to the Haleem I've tried in Hyderabad. It was pure magic on a plate and truly delicious. I like my haleem with extra zing and always ask the waiter to pack my food with extra onions and sliced lime wedges. The waiters are really friendly but I always prefer to pack my food as the restaurant is not very clean and it get really noisy during weekends. If you miss biryani from back home, give this place a shot and you will not be disappointed.
Sabbineni
A place with good food but whole experience will spoil by the atmosphere..the serving..the cleanliness of cutlery. I suggest a take away if you really like it but not a good restaurant for a good experience. The servers are not at all welcoming or responsive.

One of the best authentic indian restaurants in London, even for a veggie (i am one) ...

the plus points:
-- nice food, w plenty of masala and mirch
-- tasty biryani, though better to order when with a group of friends as biryani portions are huge
-- starters are mouth watering, for veg starters try out their Chilli paneer ..
-- reasonably priced when compare to other restaurants (i.e. high scoring on food per pound, unlike some other pricey restaurants where servings are for British tasting sessions)..

the negatives:
-- the location, it is near East Ham station which isn't the prettiest place to visit ..
-- ambience is average, sometimes a bit noisy due to indian chatter as you can expect :) .. but definitely worth trying once ...

recommendations (for veggie junta)
try Avadhi Kofte /Dal Makhani along with Veg biryani ... i am not a biryani fan but the biryani tastes quite amazing w Dal Makhani ..

if u are a chai-fan, try their masala chai ...though you have to order it before 8pm, otherwise due to rush hour they sometime pretend that it's finished ..
