Never have anything in stock and then have the audacity to give you crumbs of the bottom of the containers not even 1/4 of a portion size and charge you full price. Sub card machine never works so can never use any points (how convenient). Staff have headphones in while serving you and seem like they don’t want to be there.

Atrocious customer service by young black staff member who was wearing headphones and was on his mobile phone. He didn't have a single smile or word come out of his mouth when he served us, just a blank stare. No greeting and he wore the same gloves throughout handling money and then making sandwiches. He was very rude to myself and my wife. Terrible experience, won't be returning.

4th times the charm..
Slipped back in to earphone wearing and poor attitude again recently.
Had my partner head there for lunch a couple of weeks ago as clearly the staff recognise me.
Didn't even take earphones out while serving her.
Very poor attitude, will no longer be eating from there because they slip back into bad habits way to quickly.

Editing this again after they've listened to complaints and sorted themselves out a bit.
Gone from five star to one star back up to three star.
Staff were significantly more attentive this time round and it looks like complaints were followed up by head office with the franchise owner.
Everything was much fresher this time and other than a couple of small niggles I'll start going back again now they've sorted themselves out.
Let's hope they keep it up!

(2nd review) Well, things have certainly changed in the last few months.
Since the start of January 2019 I've been going back weekly less and less.
It seems to be different staff every time, no hellos or welcomes just surly staff more interested in their phones and earphones.
Minimal amount of filling and increasingly stale bread where they're under prepared to open up on time with everything ready.
No cookies in the display, hot drink machine broken down apparently more often than not to force you to upsell a meal deal to a bottled drink and a lot of cross contamination in the salad bar with stray salad bits in all the options.
Don't recommend this place any more.

(original review: 2018) Really great staff, especially first thing in the morning. Love going in there for my weekly treat, staff know exactly what I want and its all so nice and fresh.

The server wore headphones listening to music throughout. He wore the same gloves for making my partners meat sandwich to my vegetarian sandwich. Threw the salad on like he didn't care.
My partner clearly asked for light mayo, the guy put ketchup.
This would have been fine.. Mistakes happen. But when questioned the guy looked at us like'what do you expect me to do about it'
Rather than make a new sandwich the manager came from the back and said all they would do is to scrape the ketchup from the sandwich and serve it anyway. Not really a remedy to the situation.
I work in customer service, and if I treated customers like this I would be fired.
This happened 26th March 2019 at around 3.30pm.

Excellent service. Showed me a deal I didn't know about. Lost them £1.20 but earned a regular customer from me for the next two months that I am living in Lewisham. The sandwich itself tastes a little stale though that could be because I didn't reheat on getting home

really bad service here. one of the guys always has his headphones in and im always waiting for long periods of times. the last time i went i asked for hashbrowns and he only gave me 4 when its meant to be 6 and he also put it in a cookie bag and when i asked for it to be put in a box he kissed his teeth and then did it but he just ripped the cookie bag in to it. i also asked for sauce and he ended up making the paper all soggy and its one of the worst of been to ever.

Went here last week to try the steak and cheese wrap. Thought it was ok, bit cold but maybe that's how it is being a wrap.
Thought that until I got a wrap at the Sidcup one today where they warmed the meats for wrap and when it was all made they warmed the whole thing and it was really tasty, unlike what I had at Lewisham which put me off ever going to that branch again.
I was also sceptical as to their food safety as Sidcup kept their ingredients covered when not being used but at Lewisham they weren't ever covered.
Very disappointing and know which branch not to bother with anymore. This franchise owner really lets the brand down.
