Really, really lovely restaurant, with a very cool vibe. The Jerk Chicken is pretty legendary here, and rightfully so, it was the best jerk I've tasted. The service was extremely friendly and charming and the prices were quite reasonable. Unfortunately, it might close in September, so please go if you get the chance. It will be a real loss to Crouch End if it does.

Very cool atmosphere, staff were lovely!
The only thing that I didn't like was rice and beans, very different from the usual recipe.

Thank you Banner’s for years of joy! My family have been coming here since before I was born and it’s a firm part of our history. You’ve given this community a gift and you won’t be forgotten any time soon.

Popular local restaurant in North London, staff and extremely welcoming and accommodating made that our large party was comfortable whislt attending to other. All meals arrived at the same time and drinks promptly. The atmosphere was upbeat without being overbearing.
The meals were well presented and cooked perfectly.
We visited on a Saturday and I would definitely recommend banners restaurant in Crouch End for an evening event.

Been coming here for years. It always delivers. Came for an impromptu lunch date and it was packed, but we managed to get a decent table. Service was brilliant and the food was everything we wanted it to be. Decent portions, tasty and good ambiance.

We had a great evening at banners. Staff is good vibe and you can feel it! Would recommend the Caribbean goat roti!

We have to the banners on many times. This was our first one this year. Throughly enjoyed breakfast today. Just the right portion, cooked well and very tasty.

It is obviously a clear hit in the area. Family, friends and pets gather here. No matter how full it is, people seem to enjoy the atmosphere. Staff are well known, friendly and accommodating.

Wonderful restaurant! Delicious burgers but all the food is recommended. Slight hot inside hence the four stars on atmosphere but hot weather and busy day. We will be returning more frequently now we know of the impending closure. Sad news and will be the end of an era.

One of the best restaurants in Crouch End, cozy & welcoming, the food is great, fresh, descent size, a good selection of cocktails and dessert. The service is really good. Family friendly and also great to dine alone.

Great atmosphere, great food, and interesting beer.
The standard menu is pretty solid, with a range of crowd pleasers, and there's usually a good fistful of specials on top. My only problem is that I almost always go for the monstrously good jerk chicken, and don't get to try anything else.
Portions are hearty - you won't need three courses.

Delicious salad, very helpful and friendly staff. A* toilets. All in a relaxed but vibrant setting. Well worth more visits.

The decor is amazing and the food unbelievably amazing . Full of flavour and authentic tasting . The food is fresh and not over cooked or greasy . The kind of meal you finish and wish you could eat all over again . Can't wait to go back.

Our table was a little cramped but apart from that great atmosphere, family orientated and quirky. The food was delicious and didn't take long at all. Everything tastes fresh. Definitely going back again.

Banners were very accommodating when we arrived looking for a table for two with no reservation on a busy Saturday night. Staff were friendly and attentive. We had a really nice table and the atmosphere was lively and fun. We went for a chorizo tapas style starter from the ‘specials’ and it may have been the worst starter I’ve ever had. One small whole chorizo sausage next to four lightly toasted pieces of not very high quality white bread and four pieces of hard cheese which was dry and had clearly been left out. Honestly thought it was a joke at first. We ordered lamb burgers for the main course which were fine. The peculiar thing about the burgers were that they were undercooked in the middle, we did ask for medium rare and rare but because they were made with lamb mince they were essentially just not cooked in the middle. We had a fun night and the restaurant is clearly popular but wouldn’t recommend the food.

The service is ok, the restaurant is quite atmospheric but the food quality is below average. The hamburgers are greasy, chips taste bad oil. I recommend this place fir the atmosphere having maybe chicken with beer. Hope the hygiene is ok.

Never a disappointment, the staff are nice & the food is great! Always ask about the specials!

Have the jerk chicken its never a let down

I think that Banners glows and radiates warmth, doesn’t take itself too seriously (plastic bowls of popcorn greet diners instead of olives) and I like that the menu is simple and scrawled on by a child.

When you want a quick coffee and somewhere lively to drink it then Banners certainly fits the bill. This place had a Mexican feel to it (I think!) , but the wall posters were screaming 60’s revival. All in all, a colourful, lively and friendly environment

This location recommendation will come as no surprise to all North-East Londoners. Banner’s of Crouch End having been situated at 21 Park Road for over 20 years and continues to bring a ray of sunshine to the area. With a bustling dining room, an incredible menu and great customer service, Banner’s is a must visit for all.

Opened in the early 1990s, Banner’s brings global home cooked goodness into the heart of Crouch End. The vibrant and bright restaurant and bustling bar only sits 50 people creating a really cosy and welcoming environment no matter what time you arrive. As perfect for lunch as it is for dinner, Banners will have a dish to satisfy any craving. Banner’s is also a great place to take the kids and introduce them to world flavours and, all be it not healthy, different cuisines.

Our favourite dish to tuck into when we visit Banner’s is the incredible Jerk chicken baguette. Stuffed full of juicy chicken breast marinated in a spicy, sweet and sticky jerk sauce this baguette is an absolute star and will perk up your weekend. Finished with a warm garlic mayo, leaves and tomato this simple baguette is a delicious option for weekend lunches.

We also treated ourselves to one of Banner’s thick milkshakes. Made with yogurt and ice cream for a thick and creamy finish, we opted for a classic mix of chocolate and banana. With a slightly fruity edge and gorgeous chocolately taste, this milkshake in an absolute winner.

A friend of mine booked us a table here and they were accommodating when we were late. This is a Caribean Influenced menu and not an authentic Caribean restaurant. If you view it like this then you won't be disappointed. I had the Caribean chicken with coconut roti which had a lovely flavour but was not served as a wrap and I don't think it was proper roti more wrap bread as it had none of the characteristics of the roti. For dessert I ordered Key Lime Pie and whilst I was explaining what it was the waitress informed me there pie didn't have meringue on top. I thought well at least she told me. When I received my "pie" it was in fact a lime cheesecake much to my disappointment. My friend had the warm brownie with walnuts which was divine. The tables were a bit sticky and the toilets were grimey regardless of the bohemian feel they were going for. The food was tasty and had flavour so I would return but I think their menu description and all round cleanliness needs work
