Nice relaxed chain restaurant with a lot of the classic English menu items like fish 'n chips, Cottage pie and sausage and mash, but also burgers, pizza and pasta. Don't expect gourmet food, but not bad in anyway either, and we had quick, polite and efficient service.

Good food at good prices. It's a chain so you get dependable service and quality. All day breakfast is a winner.

Was in London for a day, decided to eat here. There was a great peaceful atmosphere and the people were very kind. The food was prepared quickly and tasted great. Very good place to have a good lunch and relax for a bit.

We loved breakfast at a different Garfunkel’s so we stopped at one for lunch at Tottenham Ct. The service and environment were nice but food quality was poor. The hamburger meat had lots of filler and we did not even finish it. The chicken and thyme pie was mushy. I think it was frozen and reheated. The neighboring table ordered fish and chips, which was huge serving. Only order if you are hungry.

Very good menu and great location. Restaurant is clean and staff are okay. Food was generous and just what we needed. There is a divide between waiters and the people who bring food. Don’t ask the people who bring food for anything as they will advise you to speak to the waiter. Long Island Ice Teas were a 3/5.

This reminded me of an American style eatery. So you know what you are getting. Reasonably priced food, large portions, saucy. Nothing too exciting but they get the god out quick and it is a chain.

Just awful, don't go. OK, so I didn't have high hopes, and I should have known better, but I honestly didn't think it would be that bad. Started with the manager not even looking up, handing me a menu and telling me just to sit anywhere. No ambience in the place at all, nothing, nada, barely a sound..... staff sitting behind me eating lunch was the only sound. Got the omelette and a coffee. Possibly the worst omelette and coffee I've ever had for 12pound 50 pence. If it was 3-4pounds I could have ignored it, eaten and left. The one bright spot was the waitress who was actually quite friendly. But in short, don't waste your money, there is 100's of better, cheaper places with some sort of character. Miracle these stores are still open.

Service is poor and the food is worse I never thought it possible to dry out a chicken breast until it resembled a pot scourer told the waitress and she just shrugged her shoulers , wouldn't feed my dog here !!!

Yes they are tourist traps and this one is next to the Dominion Theatre to pull in the unsuspecting tourists but they have really upped the food quality since I last visited years ago, so much so that this branch around the corner from the office has been somewhere I pop into when I can't be bothered to go far. <br/>The food is good with the chicken and ham pie being a big favourite on a cold winters day. The staff are lovely especially the lady who I think is Spanish and even when it's busy or short staffed they work hard.
