finally tried this place and it was great!! lovely service with turkish-inspired brunch. we got the veggie breakfast and village breakfast and they were both great. the smoothie and coffee were good too (coffee had a little too much milk though). bought some pastries to takeaway and the vegan sausage roll is 10/10!! will definitely come back to try more of their menu!

Great cafe in north London, great character and good food, very value for your money ! Coffee was good and the atmosphere and decor was unmatched. Staff were also incredibly kind and gave a speedy service. Place was also clean.
Overall unique and cosy, with a great community feel. Would greatly recommend!

Lovely little cafe, perfect for a breakfast at the week end. Food is really nice and the staff is friendly. The only thing we didn’t like was that the place looks a little messy and crammed upstairs.

Lovely staff and amazing food. Chai latte was out of this world, the olive pastry was amazing and my boyfriend really liked the shakshouka

A delightful sanctuary between the busyness of Tufnell and Kentish. Food and drink is reasonably priced for the area and the quality holds up for the experience and atmosphere.
If you want a new regular spot this is probably a great place for you!

Corner cafe with local feel. Serves coffee, breakfast and sandwiches. Seating for about 25 people with a small upstairs section that overlooks the cafe. Also has an outdoor seating area on a small deck. Table service is provided.

Had a really pleasant experience here. The staff were lovely and helpful, and I was able to enjoy lunch sitting up on the sun filled mezzanine looking out over the rest of the cafe. The cinnamon smoothie was pretty standard but still delicious. Enjoyed the bacon panini with brie. Lovely setting and the staff are quite happy for you to sit and work away for a few hours

A sunny afternoon gave us the chance to head to Ruby Violet for some decadent ice cream! It’s another story but briefly, Ruby Violet is a real treasure. It has so many unusual flavours and there is so much choice for ice cream and sorbets. After tasting a few including the slightly spicy Chai ice cream, I chose the Apricot and Sour Cream together with a scoop of Raspberry Ripple. Both were totally scrumptious! Our afternoon was made that little bit more when we saw Damian Lewis (of Homeland fame) come in with his family for their ice cream treats! Satisfied with our Ruby Violet ice cream, we ventured a couple of doors down for coffee at Cinnamon Village. Cinnamon Village was nice enough. It had seating indoors and outdoors and we opted to sit outside on the decked area. The Americano was good and the staff were friendly. On the menu, there were also smoothies, iced coffee, tea and the option for soya milk. Cinnamon Village sells organic products in the store as well as sandwiches and s

Cinnamon village is a nice spot for a weekend brunch, especially if you manage to grab a table on the terrace in summer time. Could be tough though as this place always seems to be pretty busy - either the food's great or the people of Tufnell Park are just massive foodies. Maybe a bit of both.

I'm giving Cinnamon village a 3.5 because the atmosphere's nice but nothing special, but big thumbs up for the decking area outside. The mix menemen is pretty decent but takes a while to come out, and the eggs benedict was a bit disappointing as it didn't seem top quality. All in all - will go back for a coffee but think there are better brunch spots in the area.

Really not a great food experience. I ordered, paid up front, and then wait 35 mins for 2 cooked breakfast. This was at 11.45 on a Sunday. When the breakfast did arrive the eggs were bland and cheap, the bacon was not pleasant, the mushrooms were unseasoned with zero flavour to them. The best part about it was the toast. Since I had already paid I unfortunately couldn't withhold from paying, which believe me, I would have done.

Whilst we were there, 3 other tables complained about the wait for their food, and one other table complained about the quality of their food. I tried to speak to someone as I left, but no-one came to clear my plate etc.

I will 5 mins walk away- and I will never return.
